Greatest thing I've heard all year. Gave up on this on the piano years ago and then this guy comes along and just plays it on the guitar like nobody's business. What a talent!
Great song, great arrangement and great performance! I learned it fast thanks to you! Would it be possible to have a tablature, to improve my performance? thanks again and congratulations!
Thanks very much! I’m very sorry but I am unable to provide any tab for this piece, because I don’t have it! I learn my arrangements just through listening (by ear), so wouldn’t even know where to start with notating to score or into tablature. I appreciate your interest though and thanks for listening 👍
What a great arrangement, and very well played. It's a shame you're able to write it out. I would buy it, I've tried to learn this piece from the piano music, but I gave up. You have a real gift to be able to do this. Check out a TH-cam guy. lick n riff. He does videos with chord shapes and runs and tabs them out in little bite-sized chunks. Not technically correct, but you get what he's trying to get across.
Thanks! I’m sorry but I don’t have tab because I just work songs out by listening. If you check out Richard Smith, he is the master of ragtime guitar arrangements and I’m sure he has tab available. Not sure if you have to pay though!
Hey Thomas, this is so cool man! Your guitar playing skills are literally insane! I don't think I could get my fingers to stretch far enough to play some of those notes 😂 Have you ever thought about doing "Classical Gas"? I think you would absolutely nail that one!!
Thanks David! Yeah this one took a while 🤣 I am familiar with Classical Gas and would like to learn it at some stage. Only thing is it’s been done sooo many times already by some absolutely amazing players, so I don’t think I’d have anything to bring to the party really! 😂
It took me a while! Not quite 2 years but definitely a long time! In answer to the question though, In my case 25 years of playing nearly every day, with a lot of that time spent in various groups/ bands. Same as a lot of things really, the more time you spend doing it the better you’ll get. For sure lots of frustrations along the way though!! Probably best to just try and enjoy playing and the process of learning new things - then hopefully the improvement will come slowly but surely in time. There are some guitarists out there who still make me feel like a beginner, so it’s all relative! Thanks for watching 👍
Love this! Peacherine was the first rag i learned on piano. Never heard it on guitar before. So great! Thanks
Thanks! It’s one of my favorites too, love hearing it on Piano 🎹 🎶
Awesome job. Joplin was a genius. I've always loved ragtime.
Superbly done!

Pleasure Thomas!
Well done! We like how you interpret this piano rag 😊. For some pieces of music it's a great option to tune the guitar down.
Thanks! Absolutely, no need to stick to standard tuning all the time! Appreciate it 👍
Nice transcription!
Thanks!!
Ottima trascrizione e superba performance!

Excellent muting
This would take me two years to learn. How on earth do people do this? What’s the ultimate secret sauce of guitar?
