I think the transformation can be entertaining. It shows how the toy warps and contorts to form another toy. I enjoy your sped up version with music. Other creators show the whole process, and I skip ahead because I get bored. If people want the whole transformation, they can watch other creators. Sticking with your style of transformation diversifies yourself from the rest. Besides it’s 20 seconds max of extra vid, no getting bored.

Oh, and to answer your question - you don't need to show the transformation unless you wanted to make a point about an aspect of it like Sandstorm's chest. If I need to see how a figure transforms, I'll watch Emgo.
Very late to this video, but transformations help influence whether or not I buy a transformer toy. If it’s a very long one I wouldn’t mind it being sped up as long as I could catch a glimpse of how it works. Also, nice video!
