I kinda wish I had gotten the Kingdom one now that there is an upgraded head, but that original one is so terrible. I am keeping my Classics Rodimus with the Fansproject upgrade, it beats both by a mile.

I've been thinking of getting ito making figure reviews myself, but I always get worried since I have so much stuff already and it makes me feel like I missed the window to review it already. But here I see you reviewing stuff that came out lord knows how long ago and its still amazing and funny and...all other other positive adjectives. Really helps remind me that I can still do it. I have the potp rodimus Unicronus, and I think his alt mode looks so much better in the black n purple color scheme than it does in his og colors imo

I think these two figures have two different markets they cater to. There’s some people who don’t like empty trailers and want it to be more involved with the transformation. Others would prefer a Rodimus who has that trailer/battle platform play pattern, so I kind respect the designers for trying to do something so different on the two attempts

I had Swoop and i enjoyed him for the most part. Sold him off eventually, then found an oversized KO for a good price and he was also... fine. I got the 86 figure the other day and im thinking "Oh, i liked the deluxe aesthetic... but this is a way better toy."

Redid my Leader Roddy with toyhax labels. He's one of my favorites and an affordable alternative to Fans Project and hunting an old toy complete.

I got both and I like them both. They are two different things. One is Rodimus, the other one is Hotrod that evolves into Rodimus using the same method Fans Project did more than 10 years ago lol. As for lore, I also don't really care too much for it. I like them as toys. Heck if Transformers stayed as Diaclone I'd probably still get it lmao.

One of my cousins has these two on display alongside the SS86 Hot Rod and says the PotP figure is one of his all time favourites for offering all four modes of the character.

I hated the Netflix Transformers series. With so many issues about it, I couldn't even begin which to tell. The only thing I like about it is that Hasbro released some good toy figures. I find the game quite okay but I didn't like the dialogues

Funny thing about the '86 movie is that Optimus Prime got hit by various blasts from dozens of Decepticons without any scratches and dents yet he got yanked by a mini-blaster rather than Megatron's cannon. I also got a gripe about Hasbro and Takara for not being able to make a Rodimus Prime whose trailer doesn't detach from his body, I mean, DX9 was able to do it so why the two billion-dollar companies couldn't do it?!

Am I the only one who isn't too bothered by the price? Lile yeah, he's clearly an overpriced voyager with extra stuff, but that isn't anything new for leader class figures. I can think of multiple other figures who've had way worse justifications for their price (legacy blitzwing!!!!!)

Am I the only one who prefers to store Earthrise Primes ion blaster on the back of the cab rather than under the trailer? It fills the gap on the back of the cab nicely (a pet peeve of mine with modern Optimus design) and gives the cab an air filter which some big rigs had in real life. Even studio Prime suffers from the gap in the back of the cab problem.

P.O.T.P. rodimus’ shoulders are like when your tendons are so long your arms are dangling off from the actual torso. kingdom is way better tbh ya gotta love in the show, he questioned if he was a good leader and could live up to the title of a prime, but optimus immediately replaces him and hasbro says: *”yep, you sucked. no one wanted your toys, only optimus prime.”*

I hate the seige mold, h tanks in general usually being not a fun transform, so I'll probably end up with every season 1 autobot aside from cliffjumper sideswipe and mirage (because they're going fro like 80 bucks rn and that's dumb) before I have the big 3 decepticons, the decepticons being so hard to get has really bugged me too, it's 200 dollars for skywarp/ thundercracker and and seige shock wave costs 100 and refractory is 60 for 1/3 of the trio

This was an awesome figure that has the best quality in my opinion out of any version of this mold. It won’t yellow and green, like the Netflix one hopefully and the joints feel a lot better than the dramatic capture version. It also helps that each of the cassettes look better than their initial releases. Great short review, dude!
