I have a ‘23 Y RWD from Shanghai. Recently test drove a refresh model 3 and didn’t walk away thinking the difference was as big as I expected. Would be nice to have the ventilated seats in summer for sure and slightly nicer suspension.
But I walked back to my Y feeling very happy with it :) Hope you enjoy yours 👍

I'm planning to trade in my 2018 Model 3 SR in early August for the refreshed Model 3 LR. $7,500 US tax credit + $5,000 Washington State credit + free FSD transfer (offer ends Aug 31) I wasn't really planning on a new car at this time, but yes - these incentives changed my mind :)

Offers change all the time. Sometimes better. Sometimes worse than before. So taking advantage while it ticks all the boxes is well worth it. Some great incentives over in Washington it seems 🙌

Great decision, those incentives are too good to pass by (and your wife was right). Did the same, traded my 23 MYLR for a 24 MYLR in quicksilver. The Berlin build should have better arm rest padding, felt on the rear seat sides, to stop the seatbelts rattling, more carpet vs plastic in the trunk, and a few other bits. Enjoy!

Hi Paul, I’ve just got it!! Wowzers, the vehicle compared to my 21 model 3 has come on leaps and bounds. The seats are noticeably more comfy. Even the headliner is a different material despite looking the same. Lots to report back on 👍

Went to test drive a Model Y. Ended up test driving a Model 3 Highland and Model Y. Preferred the Model Y driving position and the amazing Lease deal swung it for me......and then I received the unexpected bonus of 15,000 free Supercharger miles. Picked mine up two weeks ago and absolutely loving it.

@@AdamWellinformed Hopefully. I have the car for 3 years at 10,000 miles per year so plenty of time. I started to use supercharger miles just today. I'll either use cheap tariff electricity overnight or supercharger miles. At any rate it will be very cheap motoring.

I hardly touch the supercharger miles, as the home charging is worth the convenience for the sake of what £15 a month.

The only reason these new deals are so good is because they have hundreds of thousands of stock tesla cars in harbours around europe as nobody wants to buy them, so you are tempted to upgrade to a newer model. The only way to sell them is way under what they should cost to get rid of their current stock they have. The consequences of this is the tesla market and EVs in general is going to make electric cars depreciate even more as you are adding more and more vehicles that are not selling to the 2nd hand market from all the people who has been upgrading to newer models.

4 years ago, just before I brought my first Tesla. It was more expensive to buy used than new! Back then people were interested in Tesla’s and EVs but were totally priced out the market. 4 years on and new EVs are better and more competitively priced amongst all cars. Used cars are now considerably cheaper than buying new. I’ve witnessed many that were interested in Tesla’s, then finally able to switch to this car they desire because the financials were at that sweet spot. So remind me why this is bad for consumers looking to buy a car? New or used? Also you can’t hide hundreds of thousands of Tesla cars. The digits of having that amount sitting in “a habour” is insane. Even if calculating that at base model 3 prices. Though I’m interested in where you sourced this information, so I can take a look myself.

Our good old 2011 diesel - TCO for a year roughly £4500 which includes everything, insurance, fuel, road tax... That's less than the deposit of £4800 that you had on your screen.
