There is always a small proportion, who are willing to make that sacrifice of "Dying Daily" (1Corinthians 15:31) and releasing their errors to humanity. Chris Hedges is another great soul, who understands the plight and Oppression of our people. Eddie Claude also puts it across beautifully in an interview, following the El Paso shooting in 2019. I at ppreciate this stance that Mr Wallis is taking, specifically, because he is speaking primarily to his own people, as opposed to the usual and that is other whites who say that they sympathize with our cause in fighting Oppressionj, but only speak to Black People who are the targets. So I believe this man to be sincere. Kudos for your stand against racism as a white person.
You're playing the same race game that the racists play by categorizing people based on race. You use phrases like "his people" and "as a white person." I have white skin... Does that make him one of "my people"? My people, your people. My people, your people. If that's what predicates everything you have to say, you'll never solve racism.

And finally, try to find me a more zealous taboo - a taboo more religiously upkept - than the taboo of race in America. Go ahead. Now try to tell me how we "still haven't gotten it." A funny thing about the topic of race is that in so being the most popular and obvious taboo in the country, and all the neurotic self-consciousness it creates, its very content suggests the opposite - that it's the minority, intellectual position that the greater majority is ignorant of. Thus is how people constantly blow the obnoxious horn over and over again about HISTORY. Always trying to write off and label as "insensitive" any suggestion that racism is overexaggerated and purposely memorialized and glorified, and that maybe we ought to slow our roll, with the signature move being to distract via grotesque historical pictures. Never concretely drawing a connective to today, that is. When someone asks the question of whether systemic racism is a viable concept in 2022, further asking what actual law or social force holds one back via their race, plenty will simply cite history as a way to dramatize the issue and shame the questioner in to a dark corner whilst never fully establishing logically "how that answers the question." So even handedly, I appreciate your comment citing history, but that doesn't establish that race IS by design, albeit that it WAS by design.

When you love America, and you see it destroying itself, you want to prevent it if you can. In 1984, a Russian intelligence agent who defected to the United States, Yuri Bezmenov, wrote a book, Love Letter to America. He really did love America, and he had the unique perspective of someone who knew how Communists were working to destroy it. Today, 36 years later, as America burns with racial division and lawlessness, his warnings are achingly relevant. This man, like so many millions of outsiders, chose to make America his home. "For what other reason have thousands risked their lives, gone to unimaginable troubles, left behind their families, their motherland and traditional ways of life to come to America? Have you ever heard of ‘illegal aliens’ risking their lives crossing the border at midnight into Socialist USSR? Or the ‘boat people’ swimming oceans and drowning by the thousands just to reach the shores of Communist China? Or defectors like me, leaving behind relative affluence and risking bullets in the back in order to join the ‘progressive workers paradise’ in Russia?" Bezmenov wrote. "No, we all come here to America, obviously willing to be ‘exploited by capitalists’ and enjoy ‘oppression’ together with you. Because we believe and know-America is a better place." That is something many Americans no longer believe. They really have come to see this as the most oppressive, most racist country in the world. They want to see it suffer and burn.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
I disagree that the GI Bill is the same thing as Affirmative Action. You have to be a war time veteran with an honorable discharge to get these benefits. I know in the early days they refused it for many Black Veterans, but Affirmative Action is across the board benefit for African Americans and other minorities. Male and Female citizens who have never served. Affirmative Action is not a remedy for serving in the Military in wartime. It is a remedy for the Interstate Act and the Commerce Act destroying the black urban businesses with Interstates and higher taxes. It's not a payback for slavery either. It's more of a buy out, to incorporate those talented ten percent while leaving the rest in drug filled areas of town that Whites like to sell to Shanghai Investors to buy back land and take over the Downtown areas.
I also should add that at any given time GI bill and Tuition Assistance for soldiers can be denied and they're left with being homeless or getting high interest loans. We're all kind of in the same position in today's current market. It's usually more unfair in non union Right to Work States. It's interesting how Right to Work States can fire any white person and then use Affirmative Action to get these poor whites to attack Black workers but that's really what is going on.
I don't agree that the Constitution says that a black man is only 3/5 of a person. That compromise said that 3/5 of " all other persons" will be counted. That means that if you had say, a 100 black slaves you would count 66 of them. The issue was population counting for representation. The former interpretation is a misrepresentation.
Law enforcement officials must be respected for the law they uphold and the crime and anarchy they protect us from. When they abuse their trust and power and break that law themselves, they must be held accountable. But the smashing, stealing, burning, looting, rioting, throwing, kicking, punching, shooting and killing? Is that holding law enforcement accountable to the law? Is that to advocate, of all things, justice? Or are people using George Floyd for their own agendas? The undeniable truth is that Floyd’s tragic death is being used by anarchists and revolutionists, including many radical left-wing commentators and politicians, to attack the founding institutions of the United States of America and the presidency of Donald J. Trump.
