Pre-review Gauge 1 Crocodile Ce 6/8 III Märklin 55681 - SBB 14305 - Scale

- In Mai 2919 Märklin will deliver a complete new constructed Gauge 1-Model of the Swiss SBB Crocodile-Locomotive Ce 6/8 III (Cathalog-Nr. 55861). The model has a lenght of 63 cm and is made completelely of metal (zinc die-cast and brass). The model has a weight of 6,5 kilogram and an multi-protocol-decoder (DCC, mfx) with 32 digital functions (light, telex-couplers, pantographs, very much different sounds).
I made a story for Märklin Magazin which will be published end of Mai 2019 and at this time I have had the opportunity to make this video additionally for my TH-cam-Channel.
In this video you can see not only the nice details of this model but also most of the sounds and also a view under the roof into the electronic of the model.
The original of this Model was delivered in the years 1926 and 1927.

Hallo Peter, kannst Du kommentieren, wie ruckelfrei Du die minimal einstellbare Langsamfahrt der Ce 6/8 III mit dem Märklin Decoder in DCC empfindest?
Das mit "ruckelfrei" ist immer relativ - die Ce 6/8 III schnurrte für mein Unboxing-Video in der langsamsten Fahrstufe sehr gemächlich gleichmäßig dahin. In der langsamsten Fahrstufe brauchte diesem Modell in mfx und DCC 55 Sekunden für einen Meter - das entspricht maßstäblich umgerechnet 2,1 km/h gemäß Vorbild. Allerdings wirkt natürlich eine Anfahrt mit dieser Geschwindigkeit schon etwas abrupt. Es gibt zwar am Markt auch so manche Modelle, die in der langsamsten Fahrstufe noch deutlich langsamer fahren, aber dafür quittieren dann viele dieser Modelle jeden Schienenstoß schon mit einem Nachregelungsvorgang.
Ich habe noch das Jubiläumsmodell zur 125- Jahresfeier. Man merkt wie viel mehr Detail über die Jahre drinsteckt
Ja, es hat sich einiges bei den Spur 1-Modellen von Märklin getan. Aber auch Ihr Krokodilmodell der Be 6/8 II ist für die damalige Zeit schon recht detailliert gewesen und hat auch auf einer Anlage direkt neben dem neuen Krokodil Ce 6/8 III noch seine Daseinsberechtigung. Zudem sind die beiden Krokodile auch beim Vorbild komplett anders gebaut.
Tja ich wurde sagen sofort kaufen.

Sehr tolle Lok, aber der Anfahr-Ruck ist ja ziemlich heftig. Meine Loks in H0 fahren viel sanfter an.

Die Detaillierung ist fantastisch. Die Lok muss sich von der Modelbexvariante nicht verstecken. Vom Sound hingegen bin ich ein bisschen entäuscht. Nichtdestotrotz eine sehr gelungene Maschine. 👍🏻
so ein Quatsch mit den ganzen Geräuschen
Zum Glück kann ja jeder Modellbahner selbst entscheiden, ob er die vielen Geräusche als Quatsch empfindet oder das Hersteller-Angebot in seinem Lokmodell tatsächlich nutzt - dank immer preiswerter werdender Elektronik und Speicherchips ist es bei der Preisklasse der Spur 1-Loks nahezu unerheblich, ob man einen Decoder mit so vielen maximal möglichen Funktionen verbaut oder einen abgemagerten Decoder. Und so manche "Spur 1er" freuen sich auch über die Geräuschvielfalt der neuen Decoder mit stark erweiterter Speicherkapazität.
