One day ago Peyton Reid confirmed to Esquire that Hannah-John Kamen is still in Thunderbolts. Xfire is a shady gossip site, and the only ones reporting that she isn't. Please don't report on gossip as if it's a fact.
YES to a Quantumania watchalong! I can't go to the cinema (chronic illness), so I watch these movies for the first time when they come out on digital, and if everybody's already over it, it makes me sad. I love watching movies with you guys!
You should definitely continue the rewatches. Your collective commentaries are fantastic and hilarious. Plus, every so often Adam aligns his movement with his background, making it look like he’s zooming in or out. Muy entertaining all-around.
Scott was in prison for 3 years house arrest for two years and in the quantum realm for five years or five hours. Which is why he didn't get powers like Janet.
I love Michael Peña. He is so great as Luis and one ofy favorite parts about the Ant-Man movies. The voice-over flashbacks are phenomenal. But also the way he is exited about stuff and his expressions... So funny and so sweet.
Hector and Adam made Letterboxd sound so amazing, I finally made my own! It’s a lot of fun, but also ( a little stressful) ranking all the MCU films thus far! This watch-along was such a blast and elevated the viewing experience for me, you guys rock!
This shot up to being my favorite after my rewatch of the MCU. The most common criticism is "there is no real villain", but that's part of what I think makes it great. We all say they should try to break the formula and every time they do it gets criticized. Ghost is a relatable villain. The worst being considering using Cassie as a hostage, but she never crosses the line and they keep it understandable that she's going through extreme pain and fear from her existence is fading away. All the while not realizing that if she just let team Ant-Man do their thing her problems will be solved too. Jimmy plays the role of likeable pest who is surprisingly competent but always a step behind. Antagonistic but you understand where he's coming from so you like him. His main role in the end is tied into... Sonny exists to be the unlikable side of Jimmy's coin. Another antagonistic pest always one step behind but keeps causing annoying problems causing delays, to ultimately he thwarted by Jimmy. The true "villain", or rather threat, of the movie is the time crunch. All they need to do is get together some science junk together by a set time, and they know how to do it, but the 3 other antagonistic characters keep getting in the way and stalling them.
Yeah, I think the basic plot was great. The issue isn't the "villains", more that some of the obstacles weren't that compelling to many watching it. I love this film but I also think that the obstacle story lines could have been stronger. Not necessarily more villanous but just less of an inconveniance. Have them matter more. The Jimmy FBI part of it worked for me because they were about Scott's stakes. Sonny's part was the weakest and felt more petty than dangerous. I genuenly forgot he had other henchmen than truth serum guy, even after watching this film multiple times xD
Just want to toss in a vote toward watching Quantumania. I’d LOVE to see a something like these videos for any of the MCU stuff. I just love you guys man, easily my favorite MCU content vibes. I find myself constantly feeling in-line with all 3 of you, all the variations and thoughts. You guys are people I’d love to just shoot the shit with about Marvel, especially phase 4 and 5 because I’ve just been loving it all! This is the shit I used to daydream about with my best friend group in high school back when X-Men the Last Stand was coming out and Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Spider-man 2 etc. etc. etc. Anyway, off my soapbox. Yes to a Quantumania rewatch!
I really enjoyed this movie, but I also love Ant-Man and Wasp in general. There’s so many scenes and moments I call back to in this movie like the school scene or when Luis is telling the story. It’s fun and good time, rewatching it with y’all just made me like it even more
I would love a Quantumania watch along. I would love to watch that with you guys! Also with the mentioning something that sets up a future project, during Endgame, Okoye mentions that there was an earthquake underwater when she’s talking to Nat before Steve shows up at the compound… Now that Wakanda Forever is out I wonder if they were teasing Namor and there being another place for Vibranium or my original thought was Quake? What if Quake is on a mission for SWORD and finds a case of Terrigen crystals underwater and she touches one. Given that if, (hopefully when) they bring her back they give her a new origin if they decide to not keep the AOS timeline. Hopefully we get an answer soon to her coming back with Secret Invasion
Always a delight watching you guys react and just discuss with each other. Your enthusiasm is contagious. My love for nerdy stuffs is one reason why I keep going and your fun, funny, informative videos help me remember this. Thank you for making them free. Congrats by the way on the 100K subs!
You guys are all fancy with your Letterboxd accounts and I'm over here using a Word document to keep track of release order, rank what I've watched, and keep track of upcoming releases. I even created custom shortcuts to enter check mark and X symbols for what I have and haven't seen yet because I also have a section for the non MCU Marvel movies/shows 😂
Yes please to rewatching when it's out for streaming! I love reactions even if it's a rewatch more than a review without source material. I mean if you do both I'll watch both haha. 🤗
Speaking of unresolved plot threads, I really hope they bring back Michael Mando as Scorpion. That tease at the end of homecoming felt like a lifetime ago!
I have been enjoying the watchalongs and look forward to more of them. I have done the Lord of the Rings watchalong 4 times because I love the reactions and insight so much. Here's to Quantumania.
I’m enjoying these rewatches of the movies so keep at it (can’t access patreon because no money) like seeing you guys takes on them. Yes rewatch Quantumania l really enjoyed the movie and would want to watch it again on here (rewatched Loki before Quantumania so definitely did my homework on Kang and what I saw today Hector 😊) My ranking of Ant-Man And The Wasp is Phase 3 list it’s 7th and overall list it’s 23rd.
With 57 movies in the MCU, it's harder and harder to not be just "in the middle of the pack." I mean, which of the 93 films is your favorite? What movie in 124 let you down the most? This one rates right in the middle for me, so like, 78.
As much as I have fun watching this movie, if you made a drinking game of the all the times they say ANYTHING related to quantum, I’d think you’ll die of alcohol poisoning right around where they meet Laurence Fishburne. Lol
Watching this with you guys I just imagined how cool would it be a series or special presentation with Luis and the guys, Wong and Madissyn in some kind of adventure, and now I’m sad because this will probably never happen 😂😂😂
I'm not really familiar with XFire, but Giant Freaking Robot is known to be wrong more often than they're right, so I wouldn't trust that story about Hannah John-Kamen. Especially when you have legitimate news outlets posting articles within the past few days that talk about her involvement in both of those projects.
Hank: I should probably telling what we're dealing with Janet: I should probably do the same given the time displaced cosmic despot I've been dealing with down here but naaaaaah.
I love that you're doing these Marvel movie rewatches now, especially with Quantumania out in theaters! I would be so devastated if Luis doesn't return in Quantumania, even if just at the beginning of the movie. And I enjoy seeing Michael Peña ad-lib his lines on the screen. I can't wait for the Quantumania rewatch on Disney+ when it goes digital, and I am also excited to see Hannah John-Kamen return as Ghost in the Thunderbolts movie, she's not really a villain in the truest sense but you want to root for her. She deserves a proper payoff and redemption arc for her own, and getting to see her learn to trust people, interacting with Yelena and Bucky will be good for her. And when Thunderbolts takes off at the box office, I'd love to see them fight Kang alongside the Avengers and Fantastic Four in Secret Wars. Not sure they'll show in Kang Dynasty, but it would be nice to see them there, too
I love the full re-watches, so any content with you homies is something I'm going to watch! I agree with the no-villain-ness of this movie that made people not like it as much as other MCU films. I enjoyed it for what it was, as you said, a lighter hearted movie before Endgame that did explain a lot of things that are paid off later.
While I would never say no to watching any content you put out. I'd prefer you keep reviewing major movies after seeing them in theatres and then I'd watch your watch alongs too!
Love the reaction, I actually like this more than the first. For me it was about saving Janet and seeing Hope as the Wasp is awesome. Definitely want a reaction to the new one.
I actually really like this movie. It's my favorite Ant-Man movie by a mile. Edit: The movie definitely has flaws, but I prefer it on every level to the other movies. And I love Evangeline Lilly will long hair.
Interesting that that is still no Quantumania review even though it's been out for over a week and the guys have usually gotten into early screenings.. Wondering if they were that disappointed with it to the point they just haven't been able to bring themselves to go over it.
This is just a rumor. Something Augustin likes to constantly speak about as if they are truths. Now there could be truths to this because of a scheduling conflict but we will know in a few weeks when it starts filming.
We don't want a rewatch of Quantumania, we want a rewatch of Infinity war and Endgame and you guys telling us how you were feeling the first time you saw them!! 😛

Wow in the exact same situation lol I love them. It’s like having friends without having to come up with conversation
You should definitely continue the rewatches. Your collective commentaries are fantastic and hilarious. Plus, every so often Adam aligns his movement with his background, making it look like he’s zooming in or out. Muy entertaining all-around.
For the record, the Disney+ "Skip Credits" was specifically made for the MCU movies and brings you to the beginning of the post credits scenes.
Scott was in prison for 3 years house arrest for two years and in the quantum realm for five years or five hours. Which is why he didn't get powers like Janet.
On top of that he wasn’t in the deep part of the realm shown in Quantumania.
Extremely underrated Mcu film. Not amazing but definitely not bad at all
Theres and update to that Thunderbolts rumor btw. Ghost will be in the movie
I love Michael Peña. He is so great as Luis and one ofy favorite parts about the Ant-Man movies. The voice-over flashbacks are phenomenal. But also the way he is exited about stuff and his expressions... So funny and so sweet.

I also subscribed to Letterboxd because of their rankings
@@rain_uc it took me almost an hour! I was stressing lol
Ghost will still be in the Thunderbolts but there may be others added to the team potentially too.
Isn’t Ghost removed though?
@@reiss_max There has been no official word from Marvel on the rumor of Ghost being removed or not.
@@reiss_max no

17:36 This is a very thoughtful take on Ghost's character. Very interesting explanation to why she is the way she acts.

Oh yeah I’d love to have a watch-a-long for Quantummania. You guys always have interesting perspectives on stuff
15:10-15:13 I forgot about that. Lol
Really excited to hear your feedback on quantumania, especially after you rewatched these.
Yes please, please rewatch Antman 3 when ever it comes to Disney Plus
I really enjoyed this movie, but I also love Ant-Man and Wasp in general. There’s so many scenes and moments I call back to in this movie like the school scene or when Luis is telling the story. It’s fun and good time, rewatching it with y’all just made me like it even more

Ant-Man is my second favorite superhero next to Dr. Strange
Ayy nice. I enjoyed this one way more than the first one. Better plot, overall funnier jokes to me. WASP. What a fun time
I'm glad you guys put this up so fast!
Would love a rewatch of Quantumania. From some of the things I've seen discussed, some people might raise their opinions a rewatch.
A watch along for the new antman would be awesome to see y’all’s perspective of it!
You guys should totally do more re-watches of previously released Marvel & Star Wars movies!
Yes please to rewatching when it's out for streaming! I love reactions even if it's a rewatch more than a review without source material. I mean if you do both I'll watch both haha. 🤗
Yes, rewatches are good.
I do it after every phase
I LOVE rewatching this with you guys! Your laughter and comments are cracking me up. Extra enjoyable! 😂💀
Speaking of unresolved plot threads, I really hope they bring back Michael Mando as Scorpion. That tease at the end of homecoming felt like a lifetime ago!
Would love to have a watch along for Quantumania! It's always fun to watch movies with your friends from the internet! 😄
It’s an absolute crime that Michael Peña was not in Quantumania. He’d even make Kang laugh!!!
I have been enjoying the watchalongs and look forward to more of them. I have done the Lord of the Rings watchalong 4 times because I love the reactions and insight so much. Here's to Quantumania.

you should see the paul rudd superbowl interview with his son. his son is a copy/paste of him!!!!!
Since they are in talks for a fourth Ant-man I’m hoping we see Eric O’Grady (Black Ant) and Nadia Van Dyne.
17:17- 17:26 "She's like flirting with him." "Is that what you call it Hector? Ok." 🤣😂🤣😂
For Ghost, they say they’re moving the character to another movie/show
With 57 movies in the MCU, it's harder and harder to not be just "in the middle of the pack."
I mean, which of the 93 films is your favorite? What movie in 124 let you down the most? This one rates right in the middle for me, so like, 78.

Giant Freaking Robot is not a reliable source.
Micheal Douglas is 74 in this, and now 79, he’s 2 years below Harrison ford😂
OMG, you spoiled me guys with so much nostalgic content, i am so happy hehe
Hello from Rio, Brazil guys, when are you going to release the Quantumania review?
Watching this with you guys I just imagined how cool would it be a series or special presentation with Luis and the guys, Wong and Madissyn in some kind of adventure, and now I’m sad because this will probably never happen 😂😂😂
Can we please get a civil war rewatch?! 🙏🏾
I'm not really familiar with XFire, but Giant Freaking Robot is known to be wrong more often than they're right, so I wouldn't trust that story about Hannah John-Kamen. Especially when you have legitimate news outlets posting articles within the past few days that talk about her involvement in both of those projects.
Hank: I should probably telling what we're dealing with
Janet: I should probably do the same given the time displaced cosmic despot I've been dealing with down here but naaaaaah.
It always bugged me Hank Pym & Tony Stark never had a scene together
We’ll have to settle for Hank and Howard at the beginning of the first ANT-MAN movie!
I love that you're doing these Marvel movie rewatches now, especially with Quantumania out in theaters! I would be so devastated if Luis doesn't return in Quantumania, even if just at the beginning of the movie. And I enjoy seeing Michael Peña ad-lib his lines on the screen. my question is how are they able to (along with other review channels) show / watch footage from the film without getting a copyright strike?
I love the full re-watches, so any content with you homies is something I'm going to watch! I agree with the no-villain-ness of this movie that made people not like it as much as other MCU films. I enjoyed it for what it was, as you said, a lighter hearted movie before Endgame that did explain a lot of things that are paid off later.
I like the Antman movies.
I loved the latest one.
By the way Michale Douglas is 78 now.
Perfectly put!
I JUST WENT TO THE MIUR WOODS JUST OUTSIDE THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE SWEEEEEEEETTTTTT
Watching this has made me want to watch Endgame again! xD
i don't mind a watchalong the whole marvel movies. i hope you can also do x-men movies watchalong.
I actually really like this movie. It's my favorite Ant-Man movie by a mile.
Edit: The movie definitely has flaws, but I prefer it on every level to the other movies. And I love Evangeline Lilly will long hair.
Try it on the third Antman movie.
Interesting that that is still no Quantumania review even though it's been out for over a week and the guys have usually gotten into early screenings.. Wondering if they were that disappointed with it to the point they just haven't been able to bring themselves to go over it.
As for Ghost, if it hasn’t come from Marvel, then it’s nothing but rumor.
WHO IS THE BUYERRRRRRR. A hopeful me is thinking Norman Osborne but chances are nahhhh 😂
Why did Hector keep insisting Ghost was in the thunderbolts even after Augustin clarified that she's not, several times, even citing an article
Because it hasnt been officially confirmed that Ghost is not part of the movie
This is just a rumor. Something Augustin likes to constantly speak about as if they are truths. Now there could be truths to this because of a scheduling conflict but we will know in a few weeks when it starts filming.
We don't want a rewatch of Quantumania, we want a rewatch of Infinity war and Endgame and you guys telling us how you were feeling the first time you saw them!! 😛
What’s the issue with Evangeline Lily?
I'd like to know too!
Yes, watch quantumania again?
Kinda getting tired of ‘its a fun movie but’ from marvel these last years.
Ant man 2 not favorite
I frist one ant man 🐜
where's tlou ep 6 reaction?
