Been playing 2k14 career mode recently and it’s amazing, you can progress quick enough to not be frustrated but slow enough to feel like you’ve earned it, and the gameplay feels so natural and real, modern 2k feels so awkward and slow like everything needs to be triggered by animation and not physics
Forza Motorsport (2023) aka the Madden 19 of racing games feels like a joke and I still can't believe it got best sports/racing game at the game awards, The game has lots of bugs and glitches while the game got a positive reviews.
The latest update actually improved a lot for me! Before, the game was glitchy, empty, and the campaign sucked. Now, the game crashes before I can even get into the main menu, which forced me to go back to PCars 2015 and have a lot more fun 😅! Who knew the best update was to just make the game unplayable for me, so I'd go play a game I liked more, lol

I think the actual problem with Crash 4 is that the levels are just way too long by like the 6 level. I think the best way they could have fixed this was by splitting most of the level into two. The game is just as long but the levels are faster and the completion is still hard but nowhere near as time consuming
When 2K fans complain about Madden and wish 2k could make football games I tell them about what they have done to nba2k. EA and 2k are the same now. It's unfortunate but it's true.
I know 2k is a shitty and greedy company. But the actual basketball gameplay is good if not great for every title since 2k11. I would much rather take a football version of that than whatever EA calls “simulation football”. It’s been over a decade and blockers still cannot block like actual football players.

As someone who plays the original Crash trilogy over and over again with completing them in mind, I have to agree with your take on Crash 4. I would also add that I would have been fine with most of the difficulty if each level was cut in half. The levels are too long and when you're going for the gems and you die, having to go through all over again is mind numbing!
I’d like to consider myself a fairly skilled Crash Bandicoot player; I’ve 100%’d both the N Sane Trilogy and Wrath of Cortex, but man Crash 4 is exhausting to play. There is a mod on PC that tweaks certain aspects of the game to make it less tedious to play (box placements, requirement amounts, etc.) but at this point I’m already pretty soured on Crash 4 unfortunately

I got a bit further but put it down 2 years ago and still haven't finished the main quest and that's after getting platinum on the original. The story/characters weren't nearly as good and the world felt egregiously like a Ubisoft checklist
Man your opinion on Forbidden West was on point. This game was such a let down compared to the first game. Once the third game comes out it's going to be one of those "wait for a good sale or wait until it's free on PS Plus" type of games

Horizon had other problems that annoyed me. They would make Aloy forget how to climb and grab ledges just to make their puzzles challenging. The grind to upgrade weapons is crazy. They send you across the map, back and forth to force you to interact with the world rather than just letting me do it myself. The ending of the story was a let down. The entire main story was basically a fetch quest. The dialogue choices, the one where you have to pick between heart, brain and muscle mean nothing. The NPC will react the same way regardless of what option you choose. And they chose to dump lore on you with 30 minute long dialogue trees where you are just sitting and pressing buttons. There had to be a better way to do that.
Just been playing throught the Call of Juarez series and can safely say the third game The Cartel was a massive change in tone and a bit (not totally) of a let down. All the cool mechanics had gone and I just didn't care about any of the characters. Luckily the game that came after, Gunslinger was fantastic.
As soon as I found out the main antagonists of forbidden west where basically humans with alien powers I checked outta the story and just explored the beautiful world and the amazing combat made my experience way better
Bit late to party but I think that’s a deliberate story arc with Aloy. To save the world she has to leave behind her principles, Ghosts of Tsushima style. But yeah, she does have big Karen talking to the manager vibe for a lot of the game.
Man all I wish is a new GRID as good as the first one and a good a proper arcade rally game like DIRT... thank you EA for ruining my dreams just to obtain the F1 and WRC license just for the sole purpose of selling mediocre yearly releases

Tekotteh is a schemer that hid behind the Bulwark and refused to unite the Sky clan with the Desert, and Lowland clan. He treated his people like crap, if they so much as disagreed with him he would purposely push people out of the clan because he was paranoid of his position being taken. The chief of the Tenakth would only give Aloy what she needed to save the world if she forced Tekotteh to send his fighters to the competition. Hekarro told her to use any means necessary and the Tenakth are a people that respect strength above all else. So Aloy taking down a wall that was thought to be impenetrable was impressive to them. It should also be noted that it only took a single cannon from one of Regalla’s Tremortusk to destroy the Sky Clan’s wall. What would’ve happened when Regalla and her rebels who were in the area for a while attacked them with an army of machines? It would be an absolute blood bath.
SWTFU2 should be played as an extension of the first game, once you've fully powered up your character with a few runs through the game. If you look at it like that it's not bad, and you can buy it for like a dollar now and it's the jedi power fantasy game everyone wanted and still wishes they'd make.
I'm never forgiving Activision for what they did to MWIII, the MW reboot and MW2 campaigns were amazing, incredible graphics, amazing level design, insane set pieces and pretty much everything Infinity Ward had to compromise to rush out MWIII. Wtf is sledgehammer even doing why did IW need to make 2 CODs b2b?
Personally I quite enjoyed Crash 4 and Project Cars 3. I think the first 3 Crash games were also quite tough to get 100% in, so that wasn't a new thing for me in 4. And I think the games are also fun when you don't quite manage to get 100%. And PC3 is one of the most underrated racing games of all time for me. Sadly it was marketed poorly and in a misleading way, so it was mostly tried by the wrong people. Obviously hardcore sim racers won't enjoy PC3. But I think a lot of arcade racing fans could have enjoyed it if they had tried it with the correct expectations. People who liked the older Grid games for example.

I don't agree with that take about Aloy. She is just under a big time pressure and she realizes that she needs to be pushy in order to save the world. Kotallo explains why this moutain clan leader is really really bad because he once served him. I think Kotallo gave Aloy enough reason to act like this. Aloy also knew that Regalla would be able to break down the wall with machines with ease. Soooooooo I think this leader is completely off and Aloy made sure he knows this.
Yeah aloy is specifically told that these clans are savage warlords and fighters yet she’s supposed to just act cordial to them naw you gotta show em in the only language they know VIOLENCE
When I bought 2K24 & COD MW2 - DLC Edition (keep in mind they were both half off), I was still disappointed af when I booted up both games. Straight up 2000's virus with all ads and mtx blowing up in front of me. That experience alone made me refund both games right away and reinforced the notion of staying away from these triple a devs (or quad a now ig)
oh and the last game that made me angry as hell was microsoft flight simulator 2020. i am a big aviation geek, but returning to pc for playing games was hell of a dumb idea. so maybe it‘s not flightsim‘s fault, maybe it‘s this crappy „xbox slash gaming service on pc“ mess … 🤔
I actually really loved starfield a lot. I was like 15 hours in until I got this mission where you had to go to a planet with a distress signal, and you had to go in a underground lab and switch between the destroyed world and the undestroyed world (if u know u know) I ended up getting stuck in an infinite death loop with my last save only 1 hour into the game

I've started considering horizon forbidden west 'Daria Simulator'. In my youth my primary school had a handful of computers but a single computer (in the corner of a classroom, normally covered by a sheet when not in use) for some unknown reason had an install of Sim tower on it and I refuse to revisit it as I just know itll be a nostalgic minefield - i believe it was probably 2003, grade 3, please confirm a similar story. Also i'm still waiting on the scream into the void that is the F1 braking point story modes - great work again.
I don't play disappointing games anymore, because i don't buy anything without looking at a Million reviews first, except Armored Core. I'm buying Armored Core day 1 until they let me down, then I'll lose all hope in humanity.
It started when the PS4 was released. disappointing games from major companies. Every generation of consoles, we couldn't wait for our favorite titles to come out for it. We used to say "the new star wars battlefront and metal gear 5 will be the best games to ever exist with this technology" and waiting for games to come out like splinter cell and left 4 dead (xbox). Around that time is when I started watching TH-cam critics and journalists because I wondered what was happening to my childhood games.
I bought NFS The Run some years ago in a B2G1 Free sale in Europe. I agree, lots of potential, good premise, but the execution of that game. It's story....phew it bad
The amount of dissatisfaction I felt after I beat Starfields main quest after 8 hours was absolutely unexpected and deplorable. Also completed the pirate faction quest line thing within 2-3 hours. Awful. 0 stakes, 0 soul. ES VI will probably be the last chance for Bethesda to keep a handle on their stock.
House of ashes is my favorite one lmao, the past couple games the threat has been inside their head usually so it felt like such a breath of fresh air that the characters weren't schizophrenic and there is in fact monsters, I loved it
as an nba2k player, you only scratched the surface into the slimey stuff that 2k does in regards to that game. the entire myteam experience is a GD micro casino that i have no doubts is creating teenage gambling addicts lololololol
OG Modern Warfare 3 remains my favorite CoD multiplayer. I like Need for Speed: The Run's campaign, but the challenge series gave the game much more replay value. I certainly prefer The Run and a few others over Hot Pursuit.
When I played through Forbidden West, it didn't really occur to me that Aloy's attitude got bad or something. I thought it was because she got betrayed bad and I felt her anger and desperation through her actions. Which I think might actually be a good thing. It's refreshing to see that portrayed. Plus she went through a whole arc in Forbidden West. She wasn't at all like that the whole time. The more disappointing part for me was Regala and her rebels. Wish they could've done more of them in the story.
I enjoyed Forbidden West but i absolutely will admit the DLC was a letdown and no, not because of the out of nowhere romance. It definitely was not as strong as Frozen Wilds I will also agree her attitude definitely took a strange change in between games. Yeah its mostly due to storywise her being way too stubborn about wanting to not get others roped into her problems but still coulda been done a bit better there
I'm also only in Forza for the single player. Online lobbies are full of assholes, and the AI on the hardest level is still plenty of challenge. I'll just keep playing Forza 6 🤷♂️ Not that you shouldn't make positive videos too, but I like listening to you complain about stuff that I'm also pissed off about 😅
A fantastic video, as always! I'm currently playing through Oblivion again for, like, the 50th time, and I'm amazed at how much I still enjoy it. 2k13 & 2k14 career mode were just perfectly balanced, It’s crazy how we now need to buy some VC to have a useable player and good progression

It should also be noted that it only took a single cannon from one of Regalla’s Tremortusk to destroy the Sky Clan’s wall. What would’ve happened when Regalla and her rebels who were in the area for a while attacked them with an army of machines? It would be an absolute blood bath.

SWTFU2 should be played as an extension of the first game, once you've fully powered up your character with a few runs through the game. If you look at it like that it's not bad, and you can buy it for like a dollar now and it's the jedi power fantasy game everyone wanted and still wishes they'd make.
I'm never forgiving Activision for what they did to MWIII, the MW reboot and MW2 campaigns were amazing, incredible graphics, amazing level design, insane set pieces and pretty much everything Infinity Ward had to compromise to rush out MWIII. Wtf is sledgehammer even doing why did IW need to make 2 CODs b2b?

Personally I quite enjoyed Crash 4 and Project Cars 3.
I think the first 3 Crash games were also quite tough to get 100% in, so that wasn't a new thing for me in 4. And I think the games are also fun when you don't quite manage to get 100%.
And PC3 is one of the most underrated racing games of all time for me. Sadly it was marketed poorly and in a misleading way, so it was mostly tried by the wrong people. Obviously hardcore sim racers won't enjoy PC3. But I think a lot of arcade racing fans could have enjoyed it if they had tried it with the correct expectations. People who liked the older Grid games for example.
Yea, I'm intrigued by what will happen with the horizon zero dawn 4k remake they are supposedly making with how insufferable they made her in the sequel.

I don't agree with that take about Aloy. She is just under a big time pressure and she realizes that she needs to be pushy in order to save the world. Kotallo explains why this moutain clan leader is really really bad because he once served him. I think Kotallo gave Aloy enough reason to act like this. Aloy also knew that Regalla would be able to break down the wall with machines with ease. Soooooooo I think this leader is completely off and Aloy made sure he knows this.
Yeah aloy is specifically told that these clans are savage warlords and fighters yet she’s supposed to just act cordial to them naw you gotta show em in the only language they know VIOLENCE
When I bought 2K24 & COD MW2 - DLC Edition (keep in mind they were both half off), I was still disappointed af when I booted up both games. Straight up 2000's virus with all ads and mtx blowing up in front of me. That experience alone made me refund both games right away and reinforced the notion of staying away from these triple a devs (or quad a now ig)

I actually really loved starfield a lot. I was like 15 hours in until I got this mission where you had to go to a planet with a distress signal, and you had to go in a underground lab and switch between the destroyed world and the undestroyed world (if u know u know) I ended up getting stuck in an infinite death loop with my last save only 1 hour into the game

I've started considering horizon forbidden west 'Daria Simulator'. In my youth my primary school had a handful of computers but a single computer (in the corner of a classroom, normally covered by a sheet when not in use) for some unknown reason had an install of Sim tower on it and I refuse to revisit it as I just know itll be a nostalgic minefield - i believe it was probably 2003, grade 3, please confirm a similar story. Also i'm still waiting on the scream into the void that is the F1 braking point story modes - great work again.
I don't play disappointing games anymore, because i don't buy anything without looking at a Million reviews first, except Armored Core. I'm buying Armored Core day 1 until they let me down, then I'll lose all hope in humanity.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels.
It started when the PS4 was released. disappointing games from major companies. Every generation of consoles, we couldn't wait for our favorite titles to come out for it. We used to say "the new star wars battlefront and metal gear 5 will be the best games to ever exist with this technology" and waiting for games to come out like splinter cell and left 4 dead (xbox). Around that time is when I started watching TH-cam critics and journalists because I wondered what was happening to my childhood games.
I bought NFS The Run some years ago in a B2G1 Free sale in Europe. I agree, lots of potential, good premise, but the execution of that game. It's story....phew it bad
The amount of dissatisfaction I felt after I beat Starfields main quest after 8 hours was absolutely unexpected and deplorable.
Also completed the pirate faction quest line thing within 2-3 hours. Awful. 0 stakes, 0 soul.
ES VI will probably be the last chance for Bethesda to keep a handle on their stock.
House of ashes is my favorite one lmao, the past couple games the threat has been inside their head usually so it felt like such a breath of fresh air that the characters weren't schizophrenic and there is in fact monsters, I loved it

OG Modern Warfare 3 remains my favorite CoD multiplayer. I like Need for Speed: The Run's campaign, but the challenge series gave the game much more replay value. I certainly prefer The Run and a few others over Hot Pursuit.

When I played through Forbidden West, it didn't really occur to me that Aloy's attitude got bad or something. I thought it was because she got betrayed bad and I felt her anger and desperation through her actions. Which I think might actually be a good thing. It's refreshing to see that portrayed. Plus she went through a whole arc in Forbidden West. She wasn't at all like that the whole time.
The more disappointing part for me was Regala and her rebels. Wish they could've done more of them in the story.

I will also agree her attitude definitely took a strange change in between games. Yeah its mostly due to storywise her being way too stubborn about wanting to not get others roped into her problems but still coulda been done a bit better there
Horizon Forbidden West has Sweet Baby’s stink all over it.
I'm also only in Forza for the single player. Online lobbies are full of assholes, and the AI on the hardest level is still plenty of challenge. I'll just keep playing Forza 6 🤷♂️
