      @@blizzaroxxx you should remove sugar. Sugar+ fat will make you fat quickly due to what sugar does.

    • @mtnbikehead
      @mtnbikehead 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      blizzaroxxx honestly, try not to combine any fats with high glycemic substances like sugar and bread whenever you can avoid it. Sugar and fat clog up glycogen receptors within the muscle, and oxidize into a calcified substance around the body. It is particularly hard on the cells that produce insulin. This leads to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes along with a host of other metabolic syndrome related medical issues.
      Higher glycemics go with protein, and fats can go with protein.

    Thanks Dr Berg, I love how everything you say I can research my myself and even dig deeper, I learned so much in this year and half, since I learned about keto and eliminated sugar and everyone's favorite cocaine "flour", now I see how silly most of the people are when they ask me what I am doing and when I tell them they get sad and say stuff like "I can't stop eating bread/pasta and I cant live without sugar"... even my own family, men with pot bellies that look like a balloon about to blow up and can barely get up when they sit on the ground telling me that "I am not eating right" or that I am missing "important nutrients and carbs!!!" Lol. I guess in this time and era everyone got their own opinion.
    I feel better than ever and people even tell me I look younger, I work like a beast and still come home with energy and sleep like a baby when I have to, it's sad that people are so blind that they'll get jealous and tell me "be careful with those dangerous diets "you gonna get it all back" or my favorite "keto is dangerous" I see that ignorance is bliss for those willing to bet their life with it. Not me, you love sugar and flour? Go right ahead, nobody is stopping you, but don't try to drag me into your sick lifestyle.

      Organic simply means no pesticide. Crystal sugar is processed man made food and takes many days to make as crystal sugar isn’t granulated from sugar cane without hours and hours of processing to remove all the water. That is what creates it be super concentrated in being crystallized.

      Have to agree with you. For instance, raw honey and maple syrup harvests were seasonal and consumed with irregularity. Nothing that could significantly impact diet or health long term since consumption was sporadic. However, with mass production and processing, it's better to avoid it especially if you're obese.

Makes me wonder if it’s having a similar effect on them too. You should feed them seeds, frozen peas (defrosted), lettuce/greens (chopped), oats (rolled), non GMO corn, duck pellets, grapes (cut in half), earthworms, mealworms, some whole grains, etc. Just an FYI, cause you don’t want diabetic geese or ducks either! It does has gluten, less then wheat, but it does has gluten. The sourdough breaks down the flour before baking.
      So I am really wondering how bad this kind of bread could be. In my opinion any form of sugar is definitely worse.

That is something to think about...we all have 2 eat; some have limited income; so, eat the best you can in moderation...we are all going to die at some point anyway!

    Once I threw away a bag of flour because it had gotton bugs in it. I forgot to put the lid back on the trash can and a few nights later I heard a rustling sound outside. I saw a Raccoon pop its head up with his face dusted in flour as he was obviously very happily chewing. So to answer your question, white flour is the best...according to some raccoons....
    and also, George Ccooney, started to visit me for the next 2 months every night around 6 p.m. And he DOES NOT like vegetables. I know. I tried. That also explains why raccoons, who love junk food, don't have abs of steel!

    Question! What about fermented unbleached flour? I have cut grains from our diet but recently introduced homemade sourdough bread. I ferment the organic unbleached flour to make the dough so the culture feeds on the sugars in the flour and also neutralizes the phytic acid. The bread is only made up of the fermented flour, water and salt. Still needs to be avoided?

    Misleading since you're only comparing the GI and not the effects of the chain length. Starch (10+ sugar molecules) gets digested more slowly than sugar (2 sugar molecules). The GI of sugar is lower because it spikes insulin faster (which also comes with a higher peak blood sugar) and causes reactive hypoglycemia (blood sugar crash). Flour spikes insulin less and creates a more balanced blood sugar response. Make sure to get flour without synthetic chemicals anyway.

      Hes just trying to make people believe glucose= fructose. Not including the full story, he acted like sugar is harmless outside raising blood pressure and some nutrients and that flour is something to be avoided at all costs if you aim to be healthy

    • @mitch1078

      Organic flour is same ingredients as regular flour without pesticide. Flour is processed man made food where all the fiber is removed. That means it’s man made and not whole real food.
