First of all i want to congratulate you for your new machine and wish you all the luck with it. That is a fantastic bike wich, by the way, I have been studying because i find it beautiful and interesting. Mine is a Yamaha yzf 600 thundercat from the past century 😂, 1998. I love the landscapes from Norway! I also share with you an TH-cam channel where traveling around the world is made by a rider on a Tenere mostly. GOT2GO Cheers!

Very nice simple and straight way to explain things. I likes. Especially your last video in which you gave a brief experience about the bikes you have ridden before to buy tenere. I think that is the right way to make a decision.
I got the T7 in April. Still riding with a big smile on my fat face. Best bike I ever had. I am going to Corsica, Italy and Schwitzland in July, and I cant wait. Congrats with your bike, buddy.

I thought I was set to buy the World Raid but your previous video got me thinking. Anyway, great video, I could feel your nerves, your anxiety and your joy. Take it easy and you have a bike for life with the Tenere. Looking forward to sharing your journey!

Congrats for joining the tenere extreme club, you will enjoy it. 15 000 km on mine in 5 months ownership, i love it so much even if it is the less powerful bike i ever owned. The speedo staying at 0 is because these idiots puted the wheel in the wrong way (there is a side for the abs sensor). The cp2 engine can be used with very low rpm, i don’t know why you are always so high in rpm 😅 i understand you like to use the engine break but it’s a twin not a 4 cylinder, plus in the corners you will not turn smooth. Thank you, Steve! 🙏👍 I'm enjoying the height a lot mist of the time. Feels good , tall and strong. The trade off is on windy days I do feel the wind grabbing. And I have to be a bit more mindful how I park 👍 worth it!
You are probably going wide because you haven’t adjusted the rear preload for your weight. The SAG is exaggerated on a long travel suspension bikes and it’s going to be at the rear. The bike is likely choppered out a little slowing down the steering. Add 5-10 clicks on the rear.
Nice bike! Have been riding a standard T7 for almost 4 years now. I’m yet to find the bike that will replace it. Very comfortable, even on long distances. The KYB suspension on the extreme tempts me but tbe added height of the bike might be a problem. How tall are you?
Hi Jørgen, I'm 6'1 (1.85m), more legs than torso 😁 It's a bit on the tall end, sure. I might get a more comfy seat and that might drop the height a few cm 👍🏍️🎉
Thank you, Roger! 🙏🎉😊Extreme has better suspension and foot pegs, more ground clearance and higher and narrower seat. And a snazzy new TFT display 👍 If you're over 6 feet tall I say try it out 🎉🔥🏍️

I’m shouting at this video saying “change gear, change gear, CHANGE GEAR!” You’re holding onto the gears for too long at too high revs. I can’t believe you got so far down the road before realising your front wheel was back to front. Who did the PDI?
Abs sensor sitting crooked 😂. What they mean is they put the front wheel on the wrong way around 😂😂😂😂. Not the first and not the last. Dealer PDI’s are a waste of time
I have to say it hurts a little when I see you break in your bike. I'm not sure if you've understood the information correctly? Revving up to 5-6000 rpm doesn't mean you should ride around at 5000 rpm all the time. When do you want to use 5th and 6th gear? At 100 you can drive in 6th gear. It is important to create different load conditions, you should not drive at a constant speed. Drive at lower revs, then again at slightly higher revs. Initially, don't rev above 6000 rpm and then slowly increase the maximum revs.
Come on, bro 😁 I'm not riding at constant revs, I just limit myself when I'm about to go over 5-6k. Most of my break in miles are on the highway, 6th gear. It's just boring to watch so I leave it out of the videos.

@@jeffslade8621 thank you! Glad you liked it🙏👍 And duly noted 😁
@@TalkTheRide Hog means - Harley Owners Group.
You are probably going wide because you haven’t adjusted the rear preload for your weight. The SAG is exaggerated on a long travel suspension bikes and it’s going to be at the rear. The bike is likely choppered out a little slowing down the steering. Add 5-10 clicks on the rear.
Thank you, Terence! 🙏👍 That's very useful feedback! You're right, I haven't adjusted anything on it, I'll look into that asap. 🙏🎉
Stock Pirellis are actually very good in rain.
That's what's on there? They feel fine to me, but I haven't really gone fast at all yet 😊
@@TalkTheRide Only thing that bothers me a little bit on T7 is that the tires/wheels are not tubeless.
Yeah me too, but I decided to go for it. I'm getting the tools and learning how to do it 👍
What's the difference between the extreme and the regular version? Love your channel! Greetings from Beantown!
Thank you, Roger! 🙏🎉😊Extreme has better suspension and foot pegs, more ground clearance and higher and narrower seat. And a snazzy new TFT display 👍 If you're over 6 feet tall I say try it out 🎉🔥🏍️
@@TalkTheRideperfect, thank you !
Herlig video!
Takk for hyggelig feedback!
cant go wrong with a T7...................i would recommend a front fender extender, keeps the engine a lot cleaner when WET
A longer Pelican beak? Sign me up! 😁

Oh I see, it's the "inner fender" that is extended. Does it help a lot for the engine?
@@TalkTheRide YES !!!!!!
👍 nice
IT will be a good bike, 21 inch front tyres don't turn in on corners as easy as the smaller road bike tyres.
Yes, that's what I felt 👍 It wants to straighten itself out more. No problem, I'll get used to it 😁
I’m shouting at this video saying “change gear, change gear, CHANGE GEAR!” You’re holding onto the gears for too long at too high revs. I can’t believe you got so far down the road before realising your front wheel was back to front. Who did the PDI?
I like revving it a little, the throttle is so much more responsive in that higher power band 👍. It's a Yamaha, it can take it 😄
Abs sensor sitting crooked 😂. What they mean is they put the front wheel on the wrong way around 😂😂😂😂. Not the first and not the last. Dealer PDI’s are a waste of time
Aha! 😁 Yeah they do work rather fast on these assemblies, I am told 😄
Oh Galore ❤
Hehe I should explain those expressions in the next video 😁
@@TalkTheRidelove your channel 👍👍👍👍 . Ride safe bro!
Thank you! Will do! 🙏🎉🏍️🔥

Well, then I'm reassured.
I just don't want anything to happen to your beautiful bike. 🙂
Well that's great 👍😃 Me too! 😁🎉

Takk for det! Jeg skal ta det med ro 👍🎉🏍️
Now that you're an influencer, I'm going to follow you.😂😂😂

very good bike...if you have an iron butt and if you are 1.90...
I got a new seat, helps a lot. Height wise, I'd say 1.80 and up 👍
That's not a beak, it's just a high mudguard
Look with your inner child 😁
