Correction: my new seat here is the Tourtecs Comfort Seat High XL, not Seat Concept. I got confused by google search results, sorry. Full video on the seats coming soon! 🤷♂🤷♂🙌🙌😊😊
I bought the Tenere World Raid almost two months ago. Been doing about 2300 km. I absolutely love it! It's agile, inspiring, good comfortand fun! Keep the videos coming. You are fun to listen to! I have to make it to Norway this summer. It is so much more fun to ride in Norway compared to Sweden.
Your vids are Excellent! Wonderful to see your beautiful country from your joyful perspective. You will really enjoy the Tenere, it does everything so well. I have a ‘21 T7 and absolutely love it on and off road. Cheers Amigo from Arizona! 🤙🏾
sir.. Thank you for sharing this with the world.. iam looking into taking the driving licence for "heavy" bike. i am 37.. and this fules me! your enthusiasm, your joy, your.. everything.. Thank you! this is awesome! for me, i want more of a honda shadow or yamaha virago, more "poormans harley" but thats the beauty of bikes, they come in so many diffrent types.. i SO sit here and smile each vid you make.. much love from sandefjord
Wow what a lovely message! Takke, Einar 🙏👍😊 Thank you for letting me know, I love hearing from "old" folks who are getting into motorcycling. It's never too late to follow that inner voice! 🙏👍 Sandefjord is right next door, we'll go riding when you have your licence 👍🎉🏍️
Beautiful Country, gorgeous bike, awesome seat. Thanks for sharing, and finally someone that actually runs in their new bike properly. Getting the feel of her, Keep smiing👍😁🏍
Nice to see you happy and enjoy your ride again :) your style of videos is really enjoyable, just pure and honest, keep it up when as long as you like it. Happy to watch your futere content
Glad to see you're enjoying the Tenere! Funnily enough I've done something similar to you and the Tenere with my ‘17 Africa Twin. Bought it brand new and could flat foot it with slight bent knees completely standard, then got the Hyperpro HD spring kit front and back and that raised it 20mm… still okay. Then got the Touratech one piece seat, there's low, standard and high. Got the high, it’ll be fine! 6'5” and I'm upon the balls of my feet all the time now, have to be careful on uneven ground and road cambers etc… damn it's the comfiest seat I've ever had on a bike though! Happy adventures!
Yes I know the feeling! Not used to having to mind my surroundings when I park 😁 but so worth it to have that legroom, I feel 👍 Happy adventures to you, too!
I really enjoy following you on your beautiful new Tenere. Your enthusiasm is infectious and you have your head screwed on right when it comes to riding and safety. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos and beautiful Norway. Cheers from Arizona.
It does take some conditioning to build up those daily high mileage rides. I guess it is like yoga for motorcycles. 😂 I’m glad you like the Seat Concepts seat, I can’t wait for mine to arrive.
I must say the more I watch your videos the more I am thinking about trading my XSR. Being 6'3" tall I could use the extra comfort and still have that 689cc Yamaha engine that I love. I was out riding today but it was too hot for my red flannel. 😂😂
Haha even the flannel has it's limits 😂 As for the XSR-to-T7x pipeline I vote yes yes yes! It's only 16kg heavier and still has that CP2 fun factor 👍🎉🏍️
Just got of my standard T7 after riding 559km during the day. Mostly smaller roads on my way home from Jämtland to Skåne. In my opinion the Tenere is a perfect travelling bike. Of course I feel it in my butt but that’s ok😊
Love the videos!! Thanks. Question: Did it take an entire week to do your 1000 km service? I may have misunderstood that in your video. Personally, here in South Korea at my local Yamaha dealership, I'll get everything done that I need without an appointment the same day. I own 2 Yamahas: 2015 Tracer 900 (the toy) and a 2023 Nmax 155 (the commuter). Thanks again for the entertaining videos. Keep them coming.
Yes the earliest appointment they had was a week away 👍 I think running a motorcycle dealership in Norway might be a challenge sometimes. Not enough people are into it so the margins are tight. They need a little backlog of orders , I guess. 👍
I managed to tap a hole in my gas tank when trying to restore damaged thread. Should have used a thread chaser kit, but was in haste to restore the bike before upcoming 400 mile trip... Well, no trips for me until mid July, the gas tanks are on back order until July 10 😢
Awesome new vid brother I'm glad you got your first service out the way. I tell you they don't have charge a lot for what they do eh. Madness. When I brought my MT09 I said to the sales guy oh how much is the first service? He said 150 all in I said OK. Then when I took it in at 600 miles they said oh its £180 english pounds. I was like wtf ? They said oh oil has gone up see. Bloody piss takers lol. I haven't done many miles this year as we had real bad weather for months the start of the year again so I uses the car instead. Tell me from empty how much gallons roughly does your nee tenete hold? And how many miles will it do before the warning liggt comes on to fill up again?
Thank you! Glad you liked it! 👍🙏 We're on the metric system over here, but here goes( I crunched the numbers 😊): The tank holds about 4.2 gallons, warning light comes on when there is about 1 gallon left. If I ride sensibly I can go about 140 miles before the warning light comes on 👍
@TalkTheRide when does the eco light come on when you just go easy on the throttle?? I've not see that on a bike before. Great scenery on yiur rides too. Big up from the u.k!
Hvor høy er du ? :) Er 2 meter lang med lange bein og ser etter første sykkel. Søker litt rundt og flere sier at XSR700 er romslig.. Men høres ikke sånn ut på deg :)
Step into my office!

Nice! I put the factory high seat on my Africa Twin. It is much more comfortable and plush. It was relatively cheap, too. I am also 6'1".
You are refreshingly down to earth and relatable. We appreciate you bro!
😊🙏👍 🎉

Thank you, Clas! Glad you liked the video 🙏👍😊 Yes, the Tenere in all it's forms is a wonderful machine 🔥 In general, Yamaha riders have more fun! 🎉🏍️

Thank you!! 🙏😊👍🏍️🎉 So many happy T7 riders getting in touch. I love it! Arizona must be pretty hot these days, huh?

Greetings from Southern California! Those are some beautiful views you have there, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the kind words! Yes there are some lovely sights around here 👍🙏
Both my grandparents on my dad's side were born in Norway. I hope to see this beautiful country some day. Great video.
Thank you, Chris! 🙏👍🎉 Sunde is a common last name here 🇳🇴

I am really happy for you! Great bike and a video. I would even like it more if the music volume is a bit less... Thank you and keep videos coming.
Thank you, glad you liked it 👍🙏🎉 Yeah, the music can sometimes interfere with the talking, if I'm not careful. I'll keep an eye on that 🙏
I really enjoy following you on your beautiful new Tenere. Your enthusiasm is infectious and you have your head screwed on right when it comes to riding and safety. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos and beautiful Norway. Cheers from Arizona.
Thank you, mark! 🙏👍🎉😊 Yeah there's not much fancy going on here, I just want to share the joy of motorcycle ridin' 👍
Loving your video so far and your jolly nature. You have a very nice area to ride with very few traffic and congestion.
Thank you! 🙏👍😊🎉 Yes we do have some lovely vistas in this county 👍🏍️
Glad the new seat worked out for you!
👍 🙏😊 Success!
It does take some conditioning to build up those daily high mileage rides. I guess it is like yoga for motorcycles. 😂
I’m glad you like the Seat Concepts seat, I can’t wait for mine to arrive.
Yes, it's physical and a good workout for me 👍 🎉 I'm getting more stamina as I go.
Nice video my new friend here:) And good editing and music in the video :D Enjoy your new Tenere :D
Thank you! Glad you liked it 👍🎉🙏😊
Sounds good with Seat Concept,
👍
Your a lucky man, I'm really taken with the Teneré. Hope to get one next year.
Thank you, 🙏 it's a great motorcycle, I'm very happy 😊 Just finished the break in miles today ♥️
Norway is Beautiful!
I'm on the Island of Maui we are fortunate.
Mmm Maui sounds like a dream ♥️
Best way to see and experience the sites is on a bike!
💯🎉🇳🇴🏍️
I like your style!
Thank you! 😊👍🙏

Wow that's quite the day! 🎉 Yes, the T7 is great for long hauling, I've noticed (in my own small way, I gotta work up to that 559km day 😁)
Love the videos!! Thanks. Question: Did it take an entire week to do your 1000 km service? I may have misunderstood that in your video. Oof that sucks 😕
How is the wind buffeting in highway speeds on this bike?
It's fine if there is no sidewinds coming in. I feel a little bit on my arms but no problem, really

@TalkTheRide thats not bad really. Glad your enjoying it so far.
Yes when that eco light is on it's not bad at all 👍
@TalkTheRide when does the eco light come on when you just go easy on the throttle?? I've not see that on a bike before. Great scenery on yiur rides too. Big up from the u.k!
Yeah the dash gives me a little eco light when I'm riding eco friendly, typically 4-5k revs. The XSR did it too 👍🏍️

How tall are you?
6'1 (1.86m) 33" inseam, I think. More legs than torso😂
