Cool vid man. I just flew into Melbourne from Sydney yesterday and St Kilda park is closed for maintenance til March 9th. Just thought I'd point that out. Massive bummer since since I'm staying in St Kilda!
That is the best looking skatepark I've seen. As you said, it literally has everything. The only negative I see is the 'runway' nature of the street section. Would be nice is this was broken up into different areas to help distribute traffic. Regardless, I'm going to road trip from Sydney to give it a skate!
Yeah this park is super impressive! That's true, I guess that was the plan to have the park looking like a long highway but different little section definitely would have helped seperate the zones a bit better. It's definitely worth it man 🙌🏼
Yooo this is my home town, the park used to be a really old and shitty blue coloured spot. Council had been promising a new park since I was in high school like 10 years ago lol. I live in Melbourne now but love skating here every time I visit home! Thanks for sharing it bro 🙏
Yeah I actually seen a few pics of how the old park looked and damn they upgraded the hell out of it! It took a while but now it's probably the best park in Australia 😍 All good man, glad you liked it! 😄🙏🏽
skateboarders touched the red spray painted sign there it was fun but in the middle in the bump it fell over it i tried to jump on it but i fell on my face i had a really bad bruze
Damn, I wish I knew you were coming to Melbourne. Where did you skate when you were down? I went to Albury a few months ago and wasn’t really impressed. It’s big but pretty boring. Good for the area but not worth the drive from Melbourne just to skate.
It was only a quick little trip, wish I had more time there 😢 We skated the Uni square then Riverslide park on Friday and then Box hill skatepark and some street spots around there on Saturday 🤘🏽 Aww man I loved it, all I skate is rails and ledges so you can imagine how much I enjoyed myself there lol
