Hi Richard, brilliant... Sam’s Trains passing you the Brush, that made me smile. nothing wrong with a hint of humour. Hope you received my photos from the Warley MRC day July 07, 2019. Great to meet you in person to, made my day. 👍Thumbs Up👍
A lovely addition to the station area. You are especially good when it comes to the natural countryside and filling areas with wild bushes, weeds and shrubs. Nice one Richard. Loving the drop in guests, always brings a chuckle.
Also , great video, loved it. I am also making my own model railway on my own channel, I bought a class 66 shed from Hornby, it’s been a month and the motor burned out! I also made a DIY tunnel and hills from chicken wire, paper mache and paint. Also I did track ballast from using your technique. I never knew how much fun it would be, you inspired me into this hobby. I now love it!
Very very good Richard. Patience pays off. This layout will really be a wow when you get it finished and all those little details will add up to a whole lot. Enjoying watching it develop. :)
Amazing video! I love the way you show how you do things step but step. I think new junction is one of my favourite modern image layouts. Isn’t it funny how Sam managed to get in your loft . Ned
@@NewJunctionHi Richard, Having watched some of your video's. I have finally managed to get a short one of my layout build on TH-cam. Not yet worked out the way the link thing works, but you can view by searching for Chapel House Model Railway. Cheers Mike
fantastic again! loved watching how you did it and the result is excellent. I had a resident spider in a tunnel..didn't like to put my hand in to clean the track or if something derailed..luckily layout now relocated to attic and once all track down and wired..time for scenery and an overall roof..
Well done and another good video. With the disused platform I'd put a faded white edge, slightly weather the edging stones and maybe a three rail safety fence.
Hi Richard, I was interested to hear you say that you enjoyed adding scenery etc. to your layout, because it is also one of my favourite things to do, as you say it brings the layout to life. Really enjoyed this video. Cheers Greg
Another great video richard glad i didn't see that spider i would of screamed like a baby lol, Love the bushes and the leaves it enhances it beautifully with all what you have put down it definitely sets it off. The station is looking soooo good now a great job very realistic say hello to sam for me lol. all the best from john from rugby.
Another piece of master scenery. I just love the way you say, I'll just add a bit of this and a pinch of something else..So it is just a matter making it up as you go. I keep thinking about the cost of all those bottles of Woodland Scenics that you have just to hand. I have seen the prices at the shop in Bangkok and the marvellous selection they have and what her indoors would say when I walk in with them. I hope you gave something for Sam to do other than a brush man. I will have to start calling him Granville ffffffffetch us a brush. Martin (Thailand)
Great job! Looks very realistic. Maybe you could put a short piece of track by the platform and cover it heavily with vegetation. That would show the abandoned line. Just a thought.
Great as always to see your layout come on Richard. Not sure if it’s possible to model or if you’d like to but Newcastle on the through lines has water Stanton’s with hosepipes between the lines
maybe a few sleepers and hints of track work and things like cables and maybe point Roding if its that old would help give the impression that something used to be there.
"Biggest spider ever"... Ok, only one thing for it. I am afraid you are going to have to burn the entire layout! The only way to keep it spider free! Don't worry, we will crowdfund the rebuild AND watch all the rebuild videos! Good work, good video.
@@NewJunction you could take it a step further with a old rusted pug loco with men around it with a banner around it saying "new junction heritage group"
I was getting a bit worried towards the end there, almost an entire video without a saxophone! The hedge looks amazing though, mihht have to try this on my own layout!
Great video as always loving the process of it all of I was u I would make the roof a bit dirty like bird poo and moss because it looks unrealistic at the moment still looking forward to the rest
When are you going to chip dound your 225 LNER fir more coaches as well it will look and be a great mini series for you to do after this keep it your doing a great job of it so far
Thanks Richard, the saxophone music was frustrating me a bit. Not really about the type of music, just because you kept using the same music, it got a bit annoying.
Don't forget to keep up with all the latest news and behind the scenes stuff at the New Junction Facebook page:

i use it regularly now so i don't miss out richard.

Not too shabby. Love watching scenery come together. It’s looking good, Clint
Thanks Clint!
Nice job dressing up the sea foam Richard. That station just keeps getting better - going to look great with the acrylic roof. Best, John
Thanks John!

Just a little something to add to the video John. :D
I've been looking for the best solution to making soil and you've shown me the obvious answer; soil! Love the series. Splendid work.
Sivv it fine and it looks more to scale too

Loving the new additions you've made, given me a bit of inspiration for my own layout

I really enjoy watching your process. Learning a lot. Thanks.
Great stuff Mark
Well done and another good video. With the disused platform I'd put a faded white edge, slightly weather the edging stones and maybe a three rail safety fence.
Good idea, thanks!
Excellent Richard! Looking great!
Thanks
Glad to see you kept Sam away from doing any scenery :)
Adding those bushes certainly made it look way better.
Great video Richard.
Thanks Gerry! The scene is getting better slowly.

Thanks as always Greg, I think I enjoy scenery the most as its messy lol
Love the loose pieces of track between each line great feature
Thanks, such an easy touch.

To be fair the woodland scenics tubs have been the same since I started two years ago.
Great job! Looks very realistic. Maybe you could put a short piece of track by the platform and cover it heavily with vegetation. That would show the abandoned line. Just a thought.
Wow that completely transformed that area very nice buddy looking real awesome
Love what you’ve done with the moss effects on the ballast 😉
Gazza
Thanks Garry! Its.coming together now.
Great update Richard - looking fwd to seeing the next one 😊👌👍
Thanks Matt!

Hi Alex, Yes I've left a gap for them, will be looking at adding some when I get to the finer details. :)
New Junction with his oxford diecast tubs, it's like a cat with mice.
I knew I kept them for a reason lol
Very interesting video.
I liked the sound of the 221 (I think) entering the platform at the start
That wasn't the man I thought would be passing you brushes!! ;)
Need to pin him down ;-)
Great video. Very instructive
Thanks Russell
very good ideas there. thank you for sharing
Your welcome Paul, glad your enjoying it!
(Joe) ...your station is coming on really well ....love the videos my mate 👍👍👊🏻
Thanks Joe!
Looks excellent, nice blending technique, also very glad you didnt show the spider on screen or I would have run a mile.
Love the cameos
It's a bit of fun, there may be more! 😅
maybe a few sleepers and hints of track work and things like cables and maybe point Roding if its that old would help give the impression that something used to be there.
good shout that :)
Nice video like what you are doing.
layout coming on nicely.

Pouring the petrol on the layout as we speak! ;-)
Nice bush work.... ☺
Love a messy bush!
In the area which you covered in the video you could add some rusty pieces of track
Yep that's next
Behind the hedge you could put some rusted rails with a rusted wagon on, very overgrown and forgotten about
Oooo now that's a good idea, it needs something! thanks.
@@NewJunction you could take it a step further with a old rusted pug loco with men around it with a banner around it saying "new junction heritage group"

Thanks!
Looks good.. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Jim!
I was getting a bit worried towards the end there, almost an entire video without a saxophone!
The hedge looks amazing though, mihht have to try this on my own layout!
Heaven forbid! haha
Looking forward to seeing some updates, also, do you think you could do a video where you show all your trains and how well they run?
Thats a good Idea, I'll add it to the list!
Great video as always loving the process of it all of I was u I would make the roof a bit dirty like bird poo and moss because it looks unrealistic at the moment still looking forward to the rest

Sam seems like he's enjoying it lol
Love it, its all fun & games!
Sams little cameo made me laugh
Yes! That was very good. Not too much of anything has made a great scene. Deft touch. Regards Stephen.
Thanks Stephen!
Wow. Sams trains appears out of nowhere!
Not nowhere... just from downstairs ;-)
What is the music you played whilst you recorded Bradwell point in your great central model railway video? I might use it in my video
Erhling - Typhoon
Why did Sam from Sam's Trains appear in the middle of the video??
glad you used clean toilet roll
Apparently ;-)
Did I come too late for the sax solo?
Its at the end lol
I wonder who's gonna have a cameo next
hmmm I wonder!
I see Sam came to visit (or did he?)
You never know! ;-)
I'm liking the cameos by fellow Model Railway TH-camrs - will you be appearing in any of their videos soon...?
I do work with a lot tbf lol
make some construction zones
Do train-spotting video on your model railway with all your trains
Good Idea, I'll add it to the list!
Thanks Richard, the saxophone music was frustrating me a bit. Not really about the type of music, just because you kept using the same music, it got a bit annoying.
4:00 you may want to see a doctor about that
Yep lol
god damn it internet it stopped half way through the premier stupid thing
Put 50p in the meter lol
Sam the assistant lol
Sam the hero!
Does Sam trains not get a shout out as he helped with a clip 😂
Sam gets New Junction gratitude which is far more worthwhile.... apparently!
