Love the update featuring Richard from Everard junction. Just back from a long-ish weekend visiting relatives outside Stafford, so I'll need to get on with mine!
Nice touch gentlemen. Classic cameo with Richard there, little comic relief for what can be very dry subject matter. Kudos, keep up the fantastic work both.
Long, long ago in the ancient mists of time (somewhere around 1963) I inserted a bit of disused railway into my layout but in those far off days all I did was take the rails out of the plastic sleepers and distress it a touch. "Oh Dr. Beeching, what have you done ..?"
Haha..love it Richard. Great little cameo from the other Richard ;) Things are progressing very quickly now and all looking great. Top job mate! Cheers Jamie
Great video Richard, station starting to come to life especially now adding the glass roof. Nice little Camino from richard (everard junction) 🤣 Cheers Craig.
Hi Richard the roof canopy will look great when you finish it all of. Great bit of detail again with the fence and the ballast bringing that bit more life. Take care for now kind regards Gary Leicestertmd 👍
Coming on leaps and bounds Richard. I'm hoping your slinging up a slice of bread and glass of water occasionally for that fella working on the layout 😆
Looking great. I like the idea of the disused platform with the track removed. I wonder if you could put in an abandoned signal box along there somewhere as another hint of days gone by?
That’s what I need! A modelling assistant to speed things up a bit😂😂😂 On a serious note, great to see the station develop & I really like the fact that you are adding in those little areas of “what used to be there” I myself have a few ideas on line side dereliction which I’m hoping to incorporate into my own slowly developing OO Guage layout, just need that full time assistant 🤔😁 Cheers JB
Richard please let richard have that saturday off, he seemed so disheartened by not being able to go :) Excellent work, good choices on the station roof, it'll look fantastic once finished, hell it looks great now.
have you tried putting the plastic sheets in some warm water. just makes them a little more flexible so you can almost pre mold them into a more curved shape.
Looks great! I hope you still going to do something about that messy wiring of the lightning. It would be pity if it should be still visible after all.
Hi Richard. everything is looking good and I agree with you, you just can't get the staff mind you he is used to working at Everhard Junction. Well done even the bit with Richard in it. Regards George.....
Great sound effects and cameo appearance by Everard! Curious as to whether or not u intend to cut any overlapping acylic sheets to align them, or if u will keep them overlapping. If u cut them, I’d be grateful to see how u do it. Cheers!
Birthday's are unofficial public holidays and should be allowed, but not paid for, unless invited. The canopy is starting to look ok, but I wonder what you are going to do with the joins in the plastic. It is all good fun and I hope what is in the head works out. Martin (Thailand)
Hi Richard Thanks for the subscribe to my channel and I have uploaded the first one although I do sound a little dour !! I will lighten up for the next one. Cheers Kev
Brilliant video richard very funny about the saturday gag nice to see your cols seems to be getting better the station is really looking good now nice idea about the covering certainly makes a difference where did you get the plastic sheet from i must get some for my layout great video as always from the two richards again brilliant gag all the best john from rugby.
Looking good! Not sure if youve thought of it but the gap between the section of roof you could put some walk ways up there as some station have them for access may have to kit bash them in some way but great video, also send richard home he needs to carry on with his updates waitingto see his next video 😆
i am soooo happy, i am third to comment. normally i come on here and there are thousands already. cant wait for this one. time to grab a cup of tea, sit back and relax, and enjoy.

You can get transparencies which are printable in a ink jet printer. So you could print the glazing and stick that on.
I'll look into it thanks

So I’m guessing you’re going to put OHLE’s into the station?
yes eventually
Should be a fun challenge?

The area you worked on in this video, the points that lead into the left side of the station, is it 2wye points attached to a # 5 right hand point?
