Your knocking this one out the park. Work of Art
Looking great BIG B, can’t wait to see this thing rip🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Happy Thanks Giving all you US boat gang members!! This is an insane build. Gonna look the bomb. That was an adjustable set square you had man. Dad has one..need to get one too…so handy for doing angle work. Have a good one brother!!🎉
Thanks I couldn't think of the name of the adjustable square, had a brain fart.... seems like I'm doing more looking and starring at the boat than actual building. It's like a chess game thinking several steps ahead to insure everything fits as expected
@@IRONCLADRC I know the mode well..I do the same. You need to spend 2 hours thinking for every hour of build time…thats the fun of it, nutting things out, and yes, thinking 3 steps ahead👍🏻
Enjoy your thanks giving, I'm getting over with a cold but its gonna be sunny and 60 out, hoping to get to the lake to get a turkey run in with the BJ 24 and SWV2,
Wish I could run boats today I'm outta town till Saturday
Flipping heck that's so cool, your very talented 👌👌😃👍👍👍👍
Wouldn't build myself a boat like that. Omg, all the work and making all the parts, jeezzzz... But nice to see you do it. It's still very interesting to see how it comes together and off course, later on, testing it.
It's alot of work especially the way I went about the build process, hopefully it'll be worth the time.
Nice work dude will look ace once done I'm big into drag racing and I'm currently building a 3d printed top fuel dragster 😀
Happy Thanksgiving Big B🤙Boat looks great.
happy thanksgiving to you and your family from Chicago. That is pure artwork, you are very talented brother .
Hope you have a great day happy Thanksgiving
She's lookin sweet Big B! Thanks for sharing and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Epic build B! It looks like a kit man! Can't wait to see more. Wishing you, your family and the entire boat gang a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
Thank you George, happy Thanksgiving to you too.
@@IRONCLADRC Too funny about the whiny TH-camr - I know exactly who you mean and I agree with you. Just another ARRMA fan boy bashing on Traxxas. Unfortunately the hobby is divided just like our country these days. To quote the great Phil Collins : "Too many people, making too many problems and not enough love to go round." We are living in the land of confusion.
Great build Big B, she comes along nicely. Interesting tools explanation as well. I use these knives and the sanding pads as well 👍Happy Thanksgiving!
Dude that last rendering of the boat is Delusional 🤣🤣🤣🤙🏼🤙🏼👍🏼👍🏼!!!! (The dopest shit ever In the best way) that thing is so damn sick dude. Add a hige back wing and shes set dude. Cant wait ti see that thing MASH !!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
.Happy Thanksgiving Big B. Boat is turning out killer.
Thanks happy Thanksgiving
omg nice build !!
Coming along nicely. I've built 5 and wish I made a pattern for what I built but didn't.
I've almost got the little hydroplane you sent ready for paint, soon as it's painted I'm gonna start the build.
Great video Big B!! Happy turkey day! Hey what’s the baby powder for? Preventing glue sticking to hands? Cool seeing this build. It’s all new to me man. Stay after it! I’ll be headed to my local “park pond” today lol
Baking power, I use it with CA glue dries really hard mixed with CA... works great for filling small cracks
🦃 Happy Thanksgiving Boatgang. Great vid Big B 👍💯✌
HAPPY THANKSGIVING B AND FAMILY. GOOD VIDEO. GAVE ME ALOT OF IDEAS. CANADIAN THANKSGIVING IS OCTOBER 15TH?
Happy Thanksgiving
Would like to get in touch with you about your boat. I have a Drag boat as well. Awesome job don’t know if you’ll get this message. I hope you do.
Awesome build so far on the drag boat!! Happy Thanksgiving to the Ironclad family!! I've got a boat I want to send you , still needs to be built, I've done some of it so far! I would like you to have it ! So how do I get it sent out to you? Also just bought a miss geico 36 , and Arrma fireteam at my LHS last weekend they both were on sale !!!
Thanks happy Thanksgiving to you too. Email me at ironcladedout@gmail.com
Happy Thanksgiving Big B and Boat gang! Your CAD (Carboard Aided Design) looks on point to me! lol Really like this build, you planning on this being a zero to top speed setup or rolling start to top?
I have a doctor jet atlas kit and I made the ride plate out of 1/32 plywood. The rest of the bottom center is balsa but all of the other outside pieces are 1/32 plywood.
You said you were using bass wood is that ply or solid bass wood.
I learned from a doctor jet video he cuts thin ply with sizzors.
The bass wood is solid, hopefully I made the right choice using it?
@@IRONCLADRC
I think it will work just like the balsa, as soon as it absorbs epoxy or water proofing coating it will be hard. The thing you gain from the ply is grain direction changes. It's a stronger wood but you can still break it with the grain. I think you can get thinner with the ply and keep the strength. Just something to think about.
You should get some CA Accelerator
Never used any accelerator I'll check it out thanks
Half the fun is working on RCs. If you don't like working on them you shouldn't be in this hobby, that's for sure.
I agree 100%, every te I take an rc out I expect a breakage it's part of the hobby
