Yo love your videos! I've learned alot watching your videos. I'm sure this rigger is going to fly! I have a Spartan my pd is 66.6 mph on 6s with alot of help from your videos. Keep up the good work!
Great video Big B 👍 If I had a dollar… wait this is 2023… If I had 3 dollars for every set screw, nut or screw I’ve lost I could buy that rigger outright. I’ve knocked over a container of several hundred black pan head mm screws on an asphalt parking lot- 🤬me Can’t wait to see that one run! Pack flotation in wherever you can! “Outrigger” Purpose built for radio controlled speed racing/runs, the fastest rc boat in the world is a LiPo powered outrigger. Don’t forget your retrieval boat 👍
Look forward to the maiden suggestion add some safety wires from the hull to the sponsons in case the boom tubes break that will keep the hull from sinking
I'm sure she's gonna fly straight and true from the get-go. This boat is truly awesome. I love the way the motor mount bolts to the side plates for easy motor maintenance and the way the ski is sealed off. And those curved water pick ups look sick! If I have to nick pick anything, I can't understand why Oxidean Marine decided to place the water outlet where it is above the boom collet. They just grinded the collet which looks like one of those oops moments. I'm surprised they didn't move the water outlet an inch forward or backward during preproduction. I'm also not a fan of the motor coupler. I would prefer a flex hex coupler or at the very least have grub screws on both sides of the coupler to be able to tighten both sides of the flex cable more evenly and securely. Oh well, can't wait to see her fly. Cheers brotha!.
At first I thought the same thing about the water exits, the way they cut out the boom tube collar and all. IMO it's actually a good spot, allows both forward and aft compartments to be used as battery trays, for future setups. Im not a fan of the coupler set up either. I've been thinking about doing away with that setup on my dominator, eventually the oxidigger, making maintenance a pain, and has vibration regardless...
Brill video. Grub screws and alike, put a small magnet on the side of your screwdriver. Nearer the tip the stronger the grip. (You digger that's right). 😊

I don't even try to catch a falling screw anymore, I watch it like a hawk while it's falling so I know exactly where it went.

Glad you Mentioned sinking I didn't put any flotation in the tub good call
