As a Cross Stitcher/Knitter who has followed you for years, this was my favorite podcast. Yay Chelsea, now is a wonderful time to be stitching, so many incredible designs, enjoy! My problem some days is deciding whether to stitch first or knit. Look forward to seeing your progress.
Loved this episode! My youngest son and his wife just had their first baby. The feeling I have watching him with his son is indescribable. So much love!
Hi Susan, should you ever be interested in doing a combination of cross stitch, speciality stitches, blackwork and beading, I highly recommend looking up Chatelaine Designs. They are some of the most beautiful cross stitch projects I have ever seen. Complicated, but so much fun!
I look forward to your podcasts SO much and appreciate all the work you put into them and your craft. I am hooked on cross stitch so it was super fun to see what you are working on. On the fashion side of the house, last year at Old Navy I purchased an oversized oxford blouse that I loved and wished I bought it in every color..might be worth a look if you’re heading in for denim. They have really stepped up their selection! Happy making 😊
I loved everything. I totally jumped on the Samstua Stitching Halloween Stitchalong. It's been so much fun. Chelsea, I bet you can make two gnomes. All the best, Kimberly
I love this episode! Love the addition of the stitching. I blame/give credit to you all for me getting back into cross stitch. I've already placed an order with treehouse fiber arts and am waiting "patiently " for it to come in. Just need to order fabric. But first have to decide, Aida or linen. Really want to try linen, but a bit nervous. Thanks for the great episode!
You've talked about the umbrella toe. Where can I find a pattern for that? I'd love to give it a try because I get tired of doing the Kitchener stitch on my toes. Great episode, by the way. You've made me want to stitch again! Maybe when I retire next year I'll get started again.
Love todays episode. Going straight out to buy the Halloween magazine! We need to do a stitch along of the bottles!!! Where do you purchase the velvet backing??? The yarn is 🤤worthy❤
I like the floss a way bags exclusively because i like to just shove the floss back in the bag when im done. Although I think the floss drops are pretty I can't get comfortable using them.
As more of a cross stitcher than a knitter...I love the stitching talk! What is the velvet backing called and where do you buy it from? I am just finishing my 1st Mill Hill ornament.
Sarah's clues are very, very managable. Gnomes aren't very big. generally you knit the hat, then pick up stitches for the body. So that's almost always one piece in the end and then you do need to sew on the arms and beard.
Your girls might like Hobby Lobby better because the craft section is huge with lots of eye candy for crafty kids. Where can we find the Umbrella Toe pattern??
I have a wonderful idea for your cross stiching dimension use to have a God saying ones. Like that love thy neighbor thing I meant that! ---God You can look up the billboards and make the ones you like. I got the kits. But that was 30 years ago.
Listening to the rain was like the best asmr video.
I’ve officially become addicted to cross stitch again! I’ve bought six new patterns this week.
Don't stop on the stitching sharing!!! I am a new stitcher and love your knowledge/ experience! Keep it up!

With hanging with ribbon on your bottles you could change them out like for Valentine’s Day with a crosstitch of “love potion” etc. 💕🪡🧶

My favorite is Well you asked for a sign. ----God
I love that you both are willing to knit with less expensive yarn. Most knitters can’t afford to knit multiple projects with all the expensive yarn.
