- It's been awhile since I last got the chance to upload a Flash super speed related video or any short film at all!! So this was a great opportunity to finally make something new and have a fun little race, and I'm so grateful that I had the help of my wonderful girlfriend Jordan!! :DD I hope everyone enjoys this project and that you're all doing very well!! hey ik this is an old video of your but i hope you still reply, i just wanted to say that this is great work! I'm a 15 year old still tryna learn how to edit and i love the flash. I was wondering how you make the CGI because it looks cool and i wanna try make my own but i have no clue on where to start. Do you have any reconendations
Thank you for the feedback I appreciate that very much!! For me I use cinema 4D when it comes to most of my CGI related shots. Some of its a simple as searching how to animate a walk cycle in both c4d or even maya. Getting the core principles down and experimenting over time. Another was modeling. My oldest models were scrapped together using a lot of free models online that over time I got better at modeling my own! Another thing is rigging, but in the past I’ve used an online site called Miximo that’s helped a lot!! Ultimately this can all be found online and through TH-cam! If you’re curious it’s probably there! As for compositing I love to use Adobe after effects for post effects like glows, touch ups, additional flare or sparks.

Love the video! Where did you learn to make the CGI characters and them running with lightning, or did you just figure that out on your own?
Thank you! And a bit of both honestly. Over the years I’ve watched a lot of TH-cam and have some great friends I’ve connected with who helped as well. For the most part though it was also trial and error cause I never went to school for this

@@WatersMediaHomies the whole video like that lightning effect behind you, that bluring background when you are running etc etc.
I mean the blur effect wasn’t super hard. Mainly utilizing radial blur, directional blur, and RSMB. As for the lighting it’s more of a shared method between a few friends and I at least for now. This method does utilize a form or tracer in c4d.
