- What's up guys, today we put a 670cc Predator engine into our golf cart using the Vegas cart kit!!! This thing was CRAZY fast, leaving the 420 engine in the dust!!! Hope you guys enjoy!!

That also makes a great car alterative as long as you do the key ignition switch and ignition to the lawnmower engine

I am working on this swap on a G-19 cart... Were you able to use the original brake cable that attaches to the pass side of the gearbox? And about where did you set the high and low speed jets?

How do you keep them from burning oil while climbing a hill? I have one on a wheel horse and one on kawasaki mule and they both burn oil bad on hills.

I’m doing the predator 459cc on a cushman but the rotation on it to the rear end is going to be backwards. I noticed your rear end is on the passenger side too, did you have this problem and if so how do you fix it? Thanks.
No we did not have this problem! Dropped in and worked!
Some of the stock engines spun backwards and the rear end was built that way. I’ve seen people make a shaft off the flywheel to rotate the engine around to spin the right way for the rear end
Hey I’m hoping you can help me. I’ve got everything to do the swap and can’t find this anywhere, can you tell me where the spring goes for the primary clutch? I know the secondary is easy to find but I can’t find anything online where the primary spring goes. Any help would be highly appreciated!!!

How fast is the 420cc you say because I’m thinking bout swapping y 2 stroke to it because I average 15 mph in my g1 and I looking to get about 30 if possible with the 420
Depending on the rear end and tire size we usually se about 25 mph
Hey, so I had a question I don’t know if you could help me out I got a predator 420 I did a electric to gas powered conversion and an EZGO and I put a gearbox on it I have a 10 tooth sprocket on the gearbox and a 36 tooth on the transaction lol but for some reason this cart is super slow I feel like I should be going a lot faster. I even had a smaller sprocket on a transaxle, and it was even worse.
I have not done any with a gear box. All swaps have been into gas carts already. There are some good facebook pages that can help you. Big Block Gas Golf Carts is a good page with a lot of info on it.
I am currently going through the same situation, 10 tooth with a F R N gearbox ezgo rear end is 12;44:1 i have the rpms but top speed is about 7 mph. What did you do to fix it?
Probably hook an electric cooling fan up

When u change our motor.. did u u lose reverse
Negative! We were able to keep rev!
We did not. 97+ carts will run backwards. Forward will be reverse and reverse will be forward. Vegas carts makes a pto clutch to keep the forward gear the same.

What is the top speed?
top speed is about 25-30mph. We are actually in the process of ditching the stock carb and replacing with a mikuni carb. I don't know it this will get me more top speed or not. However the torque is the biggest upgrade with this engine swap.
Until rpm is increased the speed remains the same. More power just gets it there quicker.
Correct there was no speed change. Does runs a lot better with aftermarket carb though.
