The Great N&W high hood chase! Savannah and Atlanta Heritage unit!

In this video, you will see various trains in McKinney, and Kings Mountain KY! You’ll see the savanna in Atlanta heritage unit leading a northbound mix freight. But the best one of all is a former Norfork and Western high hood, SD40 1580. 1580 was trailing on 171. Heading to Chattanooga to the Tennessee valley railroad museum for restoration work. 1580 was the first SD 40 high hood ordered by the N&W and it’s going to be donated to the Roanoke, chapter of the NRHS.
