I got a bmw 1 series f20 64 plate with 212k miles and still drives absolutely mint. Had it 3 years and only serviced it and changed a few tires.
I'm sure you have said in some videos if you don't have what we are looking for then just message to see if you can source a car. Well I emailed today mentioned a couple of cars I maybe interested in buying and my max budget and basically got told " we can't help you " bloody charming lol

but its nakered in many ways, so your point doesn't really stand..... we have got an astra g 1.7d van at work with 460k miles on, in use daily for courier work, had no engine work done and everything still works on it.... that's a machine.
Had my sport 11 years service it twice a year and apart from service parts it’s only had a air compressor and air con pump ,, it’s by far one of the most reliable motors I own or have owned ,, lack of maintenance gives them a bad name ! Just my opinion

Drove the Autobiography Supercharged version of this in 2008,, throttle response was so good/responsive and had a drag race with a Porsche 911 of the time from traffic lights to the next set (cant remember the model, think it was a 4s) and destroyed it 0-60 mph,, driver even pulled up and said "that thing is a beast!!"... That was back then though😂
How did and how does Land Rover got away with it for almost 3 decades they have been turning out substandard products that are always at the bottom of reliability over priced parts and servicing and poor security.
They are basically a fashion statement. I know many people who've owned them and had nothing but grief new and used.
Its a hst kit calve, oh and also rear seat head rests do go up so you dont need them in the lower neck, abs light sometimes is caused by an angle sensor, dont change just re bond in most cases, battery defo needs a look at and also we have had it where faulty brake lamps set off the dash like a christmas tree! Love the vid tho bro .
Had a similar issue with my TDV8 and all the dash lights on - spent 12 weeks in a JLR dealership and after 4.5k worth of new modules fitted it ended up that the issue was simply the cluster binnacle needed replacing. Another £700 plus labour but thankfully was covered by warranty!
During lockdown I decided life’s too short so bought a tdv8 sport…I quickly learnt that life’s too short to own a tdv8 sport unless you have either a lot of time or a lot of money to fix them! Lovely cars though…!

From what I recall driving an 05 reg super charge , the fuel gage went down quicker than the mph gage Going up , I don’t see the point in guzzling jeeps 3.0d for jeeps 👐

@@1985robmartin a lot of people call all SUVs jeeps my driving instructor used to say he wanted to buy a jeep in particular a Mercedes ML😂I suppose because the jeep popularised the SUV tbh the Cherokee was pretty popular in the UK considering it was a American SUV

It’s all about the previous owners unfortunately …They break down if you don’t service em every 6 months! Best car in the world ! 4.2 jag engine is the one! Worst tracking arms n the bushes ever..! They wear easy ;( nice channel:)

Calvin, V5 says 1 previous owner which means it’s had 2 owners. Still low an ownership car and a bargain for what you paid.
Always hoping your gonna scan these cars with engine lights on, would be interesting to see the faults .
I'm getting sick of seeing youtube vloggers in the ' motor trade" constantly bad mouthing Land Rover products. I'm on my 8th LR product, all bought secondhand, all done big miles in my hands. Never had any issues other than normal wear and tear. Serves them right when they are left with them sitting on their forecourts costing them money.
Honestly it's the fact people buy them cheap but can't afford to service them. It's like all cars of this type yk big v8 luxury barges that cost 100k new but you can now get for 1500 quid. Cos ultimately they're still a 100k car in terms of the servicing but they're cheap to buy

Same thing happened me I bought a BMW I series m sport facelift thought it was a bargain but was I wrong the guy I bought it from had wiped the faults of it driven okay on test drive and when I was driving home 1 light came on then another then a Christmas tree on dash lights everywhere I went straight back to the guy I bought it from and he never opened the door nice person

Very easy to steal, horrible on fuel in general, usually slow and sluggish for most models SVR and co aside, none stop mechanical issues. Horrible things.

@@yacubahmed4165 the normal stuff with these suspension fault on dash, gearbox needs servicing. Tapping on front from chain tensioner. Best thing about it is the sound.
