Hey man just so you know, if you set the a7III up with back-button focusing, you can program the AEL button to do an impromptu manual focus. Its insanely useful when you just need MF for one shot, cuz you can just hold that button down, manually focus, take the shot, and when you release the AEL button it'll be back in AF where you left it. Great video as always, my friend.

But this has given me the confidence to get out and take photos. More amazingly is some of the silly comments you get wasting your time! Lol

I'm always inspired by how much content you can make in a single walk. How many hours would you say you spend walking and shooting to get this many great shots? I always feel like I'm out for hours, only to pull 7-10 minutes(ish) of content. could just be bad planning on my part.

I have started doing it on other videos, I mix it up sometimes, as a lot of the Learning process is about trial and error and I think people need to go out and make mistakes and try :)

I recently bought a Sony A7R2 for 1,300 at Best Buy and the Sony 24-105 G and that lens you are using the Sony 50mm 1.8 for 200 bucks...Im just starting off in photography but what do you think of my purchase? The Sony A7R2 is still pretty good do you agree? The pictures I'm getting are pretty awesome with these lens but that 50 is no joke for the price...pretty insane but love your videos and you are very amazing and make me want to get better
It’s good for basic stuff, once you start pushing the limits I.e tracking and severe auto focus situations and in video etc yes it lacks compared to others but you get what you pay for ! It’s cheap. But it’s fantastic in most basic settings. Hope this helps
Hey, how some of those photos are shot on f 1.8 and the background is not blurred? That's a legit question I'm new to photography so I really want to learn those kind of things. 😅
it's to do with the where the subject is. if they are closer to the lens then background will be more blurry if they are further away lets say, on the opposite side of the street then the background wont be blurry because they are closer to the "background" than to the lens.

ISO 100 and shutters speed of 1/1600? I would get pitch black images doing that, and I also have a 50mm 1.8. Is this all some a7 III magic? :( I only have a 250D (bought 3 days ago). If my camera sucks that much, please tell me and I'll return it and spend double the money to at least get a a7 II :D
The laws where you live must be different here in VA. Most people aren't allowed to take photos of random people or businesses unless we get permission first or have a business license for our photography. I am trying to get a LLC right now just to make things easier to get more business in and so I can attend for Car related events.
Was in London a few weeks ago shooting some 35mm and I did pretty much the exact same walk you did in your video, same streets, alleys and locations. Weird
Some Sony’s go down to iso 50 and some other brands go lower than 100 however they’re not good isos to use, I should stick with 100 as should you. I personally don’t see much difference but apparently it effect the quality of the final image or something 😂
I would like to combine two things. Walking and taking pictures, but I don't have a good eye at all, so just go for a walk and make a picture of any things that actually come out cool, what to post (

sony 50mm 1.8 or sony 35mm 1.8 both are relatively cheap. Id recommend the 35mm. I use it with my A7riv and its fantastic.

How you get ISO 64 ? i can only make min ISO 100 ?
