I've had a Nikon D90 and switched to Sony A6400 recently. I have to admit that it's a beast compared to DSLR cameras! Taking shots on a fly is pure joy. I was thinking about getting a Fujifilm but after watching many of your POVs with Sony - I finally got mine, no regrets! Thanks a lot man for all the inspiration that you are for many photographers, not only for the beginners!
I've got both a Sony for my professional stuff and a Fuji for fun and travel. Regardless of what way you go the Fuji XT-30 is as good as my A7 IV and vice-versa depending on the scenario.
Incredible work, Curtis! Your use of light and composition with the 50mm lens makes this video both educational and visually stunning.💯 Keep inspiring us with your amazing content!
I bought a 6400 probably a month ago and watch your videos daily now. Going to try doing this since the weather are currently the same as this video in Jakarta
I knew you made a story on instagram at the day you made this vid right? At the same time, I (as a 15 year old photographer from germany) was at the beach in Danmark with the same combo in my hands at exactly that time...I went craizy when I saw it...nice video mate...
Curtis Padley, makes a gloomy London day a bright one with one of his photo walks. Nice work, as usual man! You even snuck a little in with my latest lens here (the 10-18).
My favourite camera, some of my favourite gear, great street photos. I'm happy! And, as I have a 6400 myself, your videos always inspire. Although street is very different here in Asia...
Curtis, just got my A6400 with the E PZ 16-50mm lense. I am not a professional, just a dad that wanted to capture his family. Eventually I will learn to use Manual mode but Auto should do for now. Every video I’ve found on how to setup camera with tips and tricks are designed for Manual mode. Any chance you can be the first one to make a quick Auto mode video with the kit lence? I’ve taken multiple pictures and half of them faces are a bit blurry and the others are fine. A pov of you taking some shots on Auto would be awesome. Appreciate the videos man, subbed 🫡
love the pics you got here , by the way the 50mm F1.8 apsc lens is far better than the FE full fame lens . I borrowed the FE 50mm for a shoot from Sony and after 20 mins I gave it back to them ahaha.. I use a Samyang 45mm on my Sony full frame camera now & love it
I own this 50 mm lens and I love it, I also use with my Sony zv-e10 (which I believe has the same sensor as the a6400). I find the shots to be a bit soft though, sometimes I like that but sometimes I want more clarity and sharpness. Which lens gives you amazing sharpness on APSC?
Well done, Curtis. You captured many stunning shots. Going out with just one lens is a good discipline, although you did have a wide angle in your bag. For me your preset didn't work in every shot though it made some shots a lot more interesting. How long were you out for? It just goes to show that weather should be a deterrent for photographers. Very inspiring work. Thanks for sharing.
What a coincidence. Yesterday I saw a local shop selling this lens quite cheap. But I just got a Helios. So maybe next time. And today your video is here. I can study if I really need it.
That shot at11:50 would be great for a mystery novel. Again, you are having too much fun. Wish we would get some rain where I live. What's the ratio of cloudy/rainy days compared to sunny days in the UK?
Daim you love your camera so much i mean the beautiful sony a6400.... should i buy it in future? Let me see what you say about it😊. Edit:My English is broken
Curtis, I see a filter on your lens. Can we get some insight to your filter choice and the reason for using it? Trying to get a better understanding of the how, why and when for using filters.
I know I am a little biased, but loved your special phot guest! LOL @kylewatts Great video bro! I think I need to get your presets lol Loved that "batman" look
Can you use a lens that has optical stabilisation along with a camera body that also has optical stabilisation? Or do you have to have one or the other? Thanks buddy.
Good evening mate, I really like your style. Would you mind recommending a photography course or some websites for a beginner? I am already utilising your way of setting up the controls on the camera and some of your setups for street photography (aperture mode)
Great shots! Should take the photo of the first gentleman with bowler hat whole bodied with the umbrella (Like Charlie Chaplin style)...just my opinion
Hey I have a question. You click excellent photos and I bought an a6700 after watching your review. I specially watch all your London POVs to get some inspiration as I live in London too. I couldn't help but notice some noise in pictures before you apply your edits. I have noticed some noise on my a6700 as well in situations where my Pixel 8 Pro cleans it up super well even in raw pictures. How to click pictures and videos without noise on sony a6700? I'm only comparing against my Pixel 8 Pro and my wifes IPhone 14 Pro nothing else
hello! it would be cool if you could test the "Samyang AF 35mm F1.4 P FE" on your A7IV. it's a new release. I am really looking forward to that mainly because of the competitive price to performance
Very nice shots. I have the 50mm APSC not the FE. I’ve been following to you awhile now, im from Philippines but I’m working and living in Dorset, England. Cheers🎉 make more videos Curtis. I’m following on your IG too.
@@FadedMindz210 Canon discontinued that line of camera which means no new lenses or cameras in the future. For me, I can’t in good faith recommend an abandoned line of cameras. Don’t get me wrong you can of course take good photos with them. But, it’s not something I’d personally say is a good investment for longevity.
My man, love your videos and want to buy your pre sets but have no idea how to use them. Do I have to shoot in raw to make them work? Or can I shoot in jpeg? Sorry, all new to this
Hi Curtis! Currently I'm using a sigma 18-50mm f2.8 with sony a6400. I am planning to buy a new lens but confused between 'sigma 56mm f1.4' and viltrox 75mm f1.2.' Please suggest me one. Thank you!

What timing! I’d say that’s a great deal. The autofocus isn’t the fastest or greatest but was good enough for capturing all these photo without a single issue. So don’t think for the price it’s all the bad 🙌
Why does Curtis always steal Kyle's shots.......Not cool man, not cool! LOL Kyle waits for 10 minutes for the shot and Curtis walks up and gets the people in the composition he wants.....just not fair. Must be that english accent.
Bought the Sigma 56mm a week ago...omg im addicted. This lens is totally the focal length that i usually shoot at. The sharpness is bonkers and the colors are amazing. sony has fast AF and that's killer for street photography
Please make more street photography using sony APSC camera! please!

I have a Sony A6400 E50 mm, next buy Fe 50mm or 85mm??? I'm confused
The a6400 is weather sealed, is the lens not? I noticed you put a plastic bag over your camera

@@tengenriku it does. ANY lens you use on an APS-C camera you have to multiple the focal length by 1.5x. Also think you may have CAP LOCK ON 🤣
