Nonsense. Plenty of good fun budget decks to play and the pauper format (commons only) is getting really popular. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to enjoy magic. :)

Standard has no color pie, modern only has 1 deck.

An important thing to note with Town Gossipmonger is the fact you can transform it with a creature that has summoning sickness. Tapping another creature to pay for a cost, not activating an ability, has no summoning sickness requirement. I learned that from Skirk Fire Marshal.

If you think about it though, "Descend upon the FISHERMAN" (mis-translation of descend upon the sinful) actually ties into the story pretty well. Thing in the ice (found by a boat), The Gitrog Monster (worshipped by townsfolk and fisherman in the current online lore), and it just explains what the angels are doing to the humans.

Eerie Interlude is actually a 2nd card for EDH and even better. You've Brago, Saffi and the Rhinoguy decks which blink all kinds of stuff around.
And those decks often flicker stuff like Thragtusk, Armada Worms and Titans/Primordials, so another save card is great, but this one also allows you to use it aggressively by blinking everything except your tokens and go all-in during your turn.

I haven't played Magic in forever but the original Innistrad is where I started. It was such a beautifully crafted set, and seeing this new callback is such a surge of nostalgia for me.
The one neat thing with Eerie Interlude is that it says "any number of creatures" - not all. So, you don't have to target tokens and just target your token producing creatures. The same goes for counters and other things.

So here's the thing. Nahiri and Sorin worked together to seal away the Eldrazi. Nahiri is from Zendikar and was very hesitant to leave these monstrosities on her plane but Sorin convinced her to trust him and Ugin to come help when/if the Eldrazi escaped. Nahiri spent a long time working on the traps for the eldrazi and when they escaped, Sorin was nowhere to be found and her home plane was being ripped to shreds. So she is now on a warpath to bring the same amount of ruination to Sorin's home that her home experienced.

I am just hoping some Magic players bring a pack of cards from Clue (or Cluedo to our international friends) to use as Clue tokens.
The cavalry saved the day for me. I had Avacyn and Drogskol Cavalry in my prerelease pool. I also had Sanguinary Mage x3 and Rush of Adrenaline x2. I would hit with a 4/5 trample turn 3, play Avacyn turn 5 to stop an alpha strike, and play Cavalry turn 7. At one point I got down to 2 life, used Cavalry to create a spirit (no other spirit cards), gained 2 life, sac'd the spirit to Angelic Purge removing his relevant blocker, and then won the game. Never got to flip Avacyn. Went 3-1 (2-0, 2-0, 0-2, 2-0). Also Ancient Heirloom on Avacyn is gross, so gross my opponent never let me do it because they snap removed Avacyn. Coincidentally, also had Avacyn's Judgement and Mad Prophet.
PS I had two Inquisitor's Ox but never played either in my aggro Boros prerelease build. Too slow, never had delirium a single time in any game.

White looks dank as fuck, cant wait to play a few of these cards in one of my 6 prereleases this weekend, so fucking pumped
43:00 I disagree, in limited this card is actually pretty good. Hard removal in the set is like 5 mana. When the board is a stalemate its typically be cause of 1 or 2 creatures that create unfavorable blocks. Tap those guys out, you smash through, they chump or take lots of dmg. Then they can't swing back because they will be open.
This is great card for the white/red humans aggressive decks.
And since it is instant you can use it on the defense for when they were going to bring the beats, tap their 2 big dudes. ...ya, this part is a stop gap and your most likely going to lose, but I've seen it turn around before. You top deck your bomb right after and you win. It happens.
Great sideboard card, maindeck if your aggressive and in white.

drogskol cavalry is sick with that new earthcraft-like card
If you look closely at Gather the Townsfolk it appears that two of the soldiers are carrying flintlock pistols.
I wanna see a deck where you make lots of clue tokens, cast some zulaport cutthroats or blood artists, and then, cast a March of the machines. The Investocrats (or Aristotectives) Deck... :D
When you sac a clue, is there time to do something with delirium (instant speed), while the token is in the gy?
With gryff's boon that creature has been in magic for a while and they were in the old innistrad block
Eerie interlude can reset your avacyn, she comes back on the white side, but you don't really get the indestructible then.

Great as always. Love the Bebop wall scroll behind Brad. Only complaint is I don't know what may be causing it but Brad's skype quality drops are annoying. Not a deal breaker mind you, I'd rather have the video with it than not.

yo so avacyns flip ability says that if a creature dies, it flips at your next upkeep, not immediatly. so brads evaluation seemed a bit off to me. its still great, but you cant suicide all your creatures in and then have her flip and clear your opponents board like they were saying

not sure about this but u talk as if avacyn flips emidiatly she only flips at the beggining of the next upkeep
killing a creature in response to the indestructable trigger won't kill 2 avacyn's instantly
Can you check sound levels in the future? Brad is about 30% louder than Evan...Otherwise, still awesome guys!
