Highlights of the Frank Gore Tenure at The U. Song is I luv it by young jeezy and i do not own it and i give credit to him. Please subscribe & Go Canes!
I didnt get to watch as much the 80s and 90s Niners teams as id like to but for what its worth Gore has got to be my all time favorite Niner and he is severely underrated hes a beast in the blocking game as well something that doesnt get paid much attention to but he does it
His run @ 2:35 is far and away my favorite run of his. The stutter step, the cut, the vision, the patience, then the explosion and open field speed. God damn what a thoroughbred.
As a Niner fan, I'd love to agree with that, but Barry Sanders is STILL the most jaw droppingly talented RB I've ever seen. No question Frank would've been even more productive and explosive, which is insane considering how good he was in his prime. Definitely one of my favorites to watch though, a pro on and off the field.
Two torn ACLs before he even played for the NFL. Considering he had such longevity he probably would've had a shot to pass Emmitt Smith for the #1 career rusher.
every time i watch this man run on sundays i just get so sad...sad because this isn't even the best he could've been! the countless knee/ankle injuries before he even stepped foot into the nfl have taken their toll on our 49er star, but he still continues to thrive, put up pro bowl numbers, and use every bit of his talent to its full capability...so blessed to have this man in our backfield for all these years...you are definitely the focal point of our ENTIRE offense
I watch again & something new hits me. Gore is a TOUGH INSIDE RUNNER GETS THE HARD YARDS BUT IS ALSO EXPLOSIVE TO BREAK IT INSIDE OR BACK OUTSIDE. AMAZING!!!!!! BRAVO FRANK!!!!!!!!!!
Frank Gore was the best back the U ever had, He works hard and let's his playing do the talking, and last but not least he has a huge heart to play RB in the NFL. So glad the 49ers have him.
Frank Gore is such a bad ass. He is the most underrated superstar in the NFL. When its time to play against Gore be ready to play. People don't respect him enough. Only the players and fans know how great Gore is....
No gore was the greatest outa the U thats why willis said that. I i thought i was better than somebody, i wouldn't say that he is better than I. Niiiiineeerrrs!!!
Frank Gore is the man. I haven't seen a knee injury in days for gore. His hip last year and that fool still wanted to kick the shit out of the cardinals. Gore is great he has everything, from blocking to catching.
Guy was SUCH a monster before his knee injuries.. Makes you wonder what kinda' season Gore would've had behind the line McGahee playedd behind.. Gore had won the job but injured himself. It's amazing he still plays as well as he does today with the punishment his body has gone through, same with McGahee.
A while back, McGahee, Portis and Edge were all asked who out of those three guys as well as Frank Gore was the most talented and overall best pure running back. You want to know the answer? You can prolly already guess. They ALL SAID FRANK GORE WAS THE BEST OF THEM! ALL OF THEM SAID THAT.
He was a beast when the niners were horrible and he's still disgusting now but before 2x knee surgery he was G.O.AT. material! I've never seen any of his college footage and I'm blown away by many things but especially the speed...holy shit!
When the lions passed on Clinton Portis I said that was a mistake. When we passed on Gore I threw up, No Lie! I thought what a steal would he would be in the third, but we took Brian Calhoun I believe. I'm just as big of a Miami fan as I am a Michigan fan so it hurt both times!
Ironically all 3 running backs of the U were plagued by injuries. Willis McGahee ran a 4.3 40 before the injuries, now he runs a 4.5 Clinton Portis lost speed, and quickness because of injuries And Frank Gore had knee problems as well Its a shame we never got to see them become the best they could be. They could of been mentioned with the greats if it wasen't for injuries. 3 incredible backs right there
No. Never was close. Hester, Andre Johnson, Clinton Portis, mcgahee, Santana and sinorice. Gore just had amazing vision balance and strength. But was probably the best hurricane ever
I hate when people talk about his lack of top speed and how that "affects" him. The guy has such acceleration that it don't matter! Gore has got to be one of best backs due to his versatility. I heard some where he is dropping weight, but I'm not sure.
Yeah before his injuries the dude was sick. 01 and 03 were good years for him.. when you see him wearing 3 he was a little over weight and the injuries had begun to change his style of play. Crazy to think that McGahee's dream season in 02 where he went for nearly 1800 yards on the ground was because Frank was injured and lost his starting position before the season started.
blackonefifty gore didn’t play a down that season I think he was out in training in camp and then he came back right before the natty. I remember them talking about him on the scout team simulating claret
I know some will think im crazy but i think without the ACL tear frank gore would have had a 2000 yard season (maybe two) and by the time he hung them up would be consider top 5 best rb ever.
@BeastRB28 I ownder the same thing about Willis McGahee, but I believe Gore's injury motivated him and made him better, whereas McGahee lost so much speed it changed his entire style of running
Indianadro89 - NO DOUBT. I forgot he's the BEST BLOCKING RB RIGHT NOW IN THE NFL HANDS DOWN. I CAN'T THINK OF ANY RB who's a better blocker. COMPLETE, I MEAN 1000% COMPLETE PLAYER OF HIS POSITION, LOVE THIS GUY. GO FRANK!! WE ARE SO DAMN LUCKY TO HAVE YOU MAN!!!!!!!
Seriously not only can he block in the pocket but if watch a lot of kaepernick runs frank gore is usually chopping down a linebacker or db to spring him free. Dudes a legend.
Gore is a pure North/South runner. He digs his feet into the ground & pounds the pavement.....Well in this case grass.& his arms are super long....I wonder what his reach is?? LOL!!!
@17royce30 Not crazy at all. Clinton Portis said Gore was the best back of the bunch, and it takes a big man to admit some shit like that. Gore lost a tremendous amount of speed/burst after his injuries. Never was quite the same, much like McGahee.
This dudes flat out ridiculous! Why? He lost speed but has mastered how to avoid and deliver some hits when the time is right. For this cause I believe his injuries have made him the back he is today. Would he have had the same success he has had he not been injured and had gone somewhere else? No one can be for certain but with the Niners he's clearly right at home and can possibly go down as the greatest 49er RB of all time if he isn't out of gas come next season.
No my bad the time I was upset we didn't take Frank was 2005 in the second round. We took Shaun Cody who was awful. Frank got taken later in the start of the third round. Matt Millen was such a horrible GM.
Future HOF one of my favorite player
I didnt get to watch as much the 80s and 90s Niners teams as id like to but for what its worth Gore has got to be my all time favorite Niner and he is severely underrated hes a beast in the blocking game as well something that doesnt get paid much attention to but he does it

would have been the greatest RB EVER to play in the NFL without those injuries

I agree with you Kyle. Frank did have an espn special after his second knee surgery. Frank is the best. My favorite player next to Jerry Rice.
wow I've only seen gore in action as a niner, his stride is so different back in college
Most underrated back in the NFL right now.
Hall of Fame running back
Gshshs tu whz

Thank you for putting up this video, its fantastic. Franky is a rare gem that goes somewhat unnoticed. The Freshman highlights are unbelievable.
I watch again & something new hits me. Gore is a TOUGH INSIDE RUNNER GETS THE HARD YARDS BUT IS ALSO EXPLOSIVE TO BREAK IT INSIDE OR BACK OUTSIDE. AMAZING!!!!!! BRAVO FRANK!!!!!!!!!!

still one of the best backs in the game today.. injuries or not.. hes gets better and better..
Frank Gore is such a bad ass. He is the most underrated superstar in the NFL. When its time to play against Gore be ready to play. People don't respect him enough. Only the players and fans know how great Gore is....
It just goes to show how talented Gore is. Despite everything he's been through, he's still one of the best RBs in the NFL right now.
No gore was the greatest outa the U thats why willis said that. I i thought i was better than somebody, i wouldn't say that he is better than I. Niiiiineeerrrs!!!

Frank has been the soul of the niners since he was drafted, hella underrated, gotta get that ring for frank
He has outstanding vision, has a great short yard burst, and runs absurdly low to the ground. That's all you need in a running back.
Thanks for posting this. Been looking for his Miami highlights
Damn if he is never injured he wouldn't ever had been a niner because dude would have gone in the first round.
I really wish he hadnt had so many injuries...even with injuries hes one of the most elite backs in the nfl
2001 hurricanes had fucking, gore, Ed Reid, Andre Johnson, and Vince Wilfork. How is that fair?
TheColonialKickass we had more than that.. Santana Moss , Kevin beard, Kevin Winslow
Shockey, portis, mcgahee, roscoe parrish, dorsey, vilma rolle.. the team was stupidly stacked lmao
14 nfl seasons later...... 4th all time leading rusher!
Nobody finds a little space like gore for a guy without elite speed he is damn good back reminds me of Barry sanders
No way you would ever thought that Frankie would still be in the league 10 years after this video
simply beautiful
NINER FAITHFUL
This guy would be the GOAT without all the injuries. Real talk
They Should Make An E -60 of Frank Gore
He was a beast when the niners were horrible and he's still disgusting now but before 2x knee surgery he was G.O.AT. material! I've never seen any of his college footage and I'm blown away by many things but especially the speed...holy shit!
Good Lord he had so much power and explosiveness in his lower body
When the lions passed on Clinton Portis I said that was a mistake. When we passed on Gore I threw up, No Lie! I thought what a steal would he would be in the third, but we took Brian Calhoun I believe. I'm just as big of a Miami fan as I am a Michigan fan so it hurt both times!

wasnt frank gore before his injuries one if not thee fastest cane ever ?
Probably not.
No. Never was close. Hester, Andre Johnson, Clinton Portis, mcgahee, Santana and sinorice. Gore just had amazing vision balance and strength. But was probably the best hurricane ever
Sick video bro its all about the U!
That little stutter step at 1:24 is fucking crazy! Did you see how the gayturd went down in flames!!! hahaha!
Best RB to come through the U!
Well, since Gore is CURRENTLY the best of them, and has had the best career of them, I'd say they were right.
God Bless Frank Gore!!!!!! :-) wish I could meet him.
I'm a 9ers fan.. Frankie G IS the 9ers offense, nuff said!!
Beat RB since Barry Sanders. He has everything, vision, feet, speed, lean, size. Shit that can’t be thought.
I hate when people talk about his lack of top speed and how that "affects" him. The guy has such acceleration that it don't matter! Gore has got to be one of best backs due to his versatility. I heard some where he is dropping weight, but I'm not sure.
When Frank Gore had #32 🔥🔥🔥
#collegefootball awesome video!
One word: Soldier
Yeah before his injuries the dude was sick. 01 and 03 were good years for him.. when you see him wearing 3 he was a little over weight and the injuries had begun to change his style of play.

man amongst boys
What a beast
this video make me kinda sad just watching and wondering what could of been before all the knee injuries great player
Same with Willis Mcgahee ;( Lets hope the best for Mike James and Duke Johnson
Miss him #NinerGang
major knee surgeries on both knees... And still a BEAST... Gore the boar...
Luv in it
Willis McGahee wouldn't have DREAMT of having the year he did in 2002 were it not for Gore being injured.
he has such great vision it made up for the knee problems
@BeastRB28 I ownder the same thing about Willis McGahee, but I believe Gore's injury motivated him and made him better, whereas McGahee lost so much speed it changed his entire style of running
If frank hadn’t torn both his knees. Prolly greatest of all time running back.
Both of those back said Gore was the best of them...His injuries sidetracked him
Such a great player, wonder how good he could have been, had it not been for injuries.
im like baby gore without the knee problems
Seeing what he's done in the NFL, imagine what he would have done if he hadnt tore his acl.
If he goes go the fuckin eagles im going to cry
Frank gore G.O.A.T.?
@catfoodtitans I haven't seen his other ones but I thought it went well with the highlights imo.
what exactly is he saying at the beginning? i cant really catch what he says. Im german :/ :P
Facts dont let anyone tell you you cant doit because he still is 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He was so hard to get a square hit on and he would get so low defenders had to give up the extra yards to get him down. He was a first down machine.
49ers all time leading rusher!
0:50 Good thing for number 7 he missed that tackle so spectacularly... he is probably doing well now and avoided a horrible concussion
wow.
@Loganh24
In '04, after his second knee injury.
Most college players like juke.. but in the NFL he goes head up WWAAYY tooo much.. Still the LITTLE BeaST ....!!!!
Gore is a pure North/South runner. He digs his feet into the ground & pounds the pavement.....Well in this case grass.& his arms are super long....I wonder what his reach is?? LOL!!!
Were his injuries as bad as Marcus lattimore's? I realy hope he pan's out for SF!
Nick Chubb does play like this. Will Nick be able to bounce like Frank Gore though?
bjslugz beatz he’s gonna have to learn Frank gore bounced and max efforted his way to number 4 all time
what year did he change his number?
its allabout the U !
Willis McGahee was the best of all, before the catastrophic cheap shot to his knee.
Mcgahee>Portis>Gore.... they were all GREAT ONES though.
Frank Gore is the shit!!!!!
Niners are bout to kick ass this year bitches!!
Made man
@17royce30
Not crazy at all.
Clinton Portis said Gore was the best back of the bunch, and it takes a big man to admit some shit like that. Gore lost a tremendous amount of speed/burst after his injuries. Never was quite the same, much like McGahee.
pretty good? he been to a few pro bowls
Can't find the injury on the internet...
Korey Thomas I know he injured both knees in different seasons and one of the injuries was in practice.
@@scottbrooks6975 suffered his first one in the spring of the 2002 season.
He all ready is
9ERS!!!!!!
Would have been the best running back ever, had he not suffered that ACL injury.
Would you say he's a HOF caliber player right now tho? Idk
gore or forte
Al Gore President
No my bad the time I was upset we didn't take Frank was 2005 in the second round. We took Shaun Cody who was awful. Frank got taken later in the start of the third round. Matt Millen was such a horrible GM.
PLAYOFF GAME!!!! GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
@LB3is2Fresh
