I’m a Florida State fan, but being raised in Miami and witnessing this team dominate, there was no question that during the early 2000’s the Canes were the most feared team in college football.
Miami should've won three National Championships in a row. They got robbed by the BCS computer in 2000. Miami would've destroyed Oklahoma in the title game. They won in 2001 and they beat Ohio State in 02 if that ref doesn't call that bullshit pass interference call in overtime. Greatest team ever!!!!

I love the Canes because it seems like every player they produce goes on to be big playmaker at the professional level. They're just so good, and they are very fun to watch.
Having talent isn't the only factor in having a great team, heart, coaching, determination, conditioning, and unity as a team goes alot farther then just talent. Football is a team sport and 95 NU played better together then any other college team ever has or will.
What I wouldn't give to see the 2001 Hurricanes play again. So many stars came out of that team. And it's awesome hearing that they still keep in touch. Knowing how good they were some games they could have possibly beaten an NFL team.

Dorsey and the defense made them look like a high school team. This just made my night, and I hope Al finds a way to get us somewhere CLOSE to the great UM teams.

I'm hands down the biggest Canes fan of all time. When I was around 8 years old I started to pay close attention to the Miami Hurricanes and I started to buy and I started to collect anything that has to do with the University of Miami!!!!!!!!! So now after 34 years I have somewhere between 1,500 - 3,000 different pieces of MIAMI HURRICANES MEMORABILIA. SO Now I Have a sports room to watch football and basketball and baseball. Play cards and dominos and pinball machines and have a great time. I need to stop buying more Hurricanes Memorabilia but it never works. Now I take things from my Miami Hurricanes collection and I now have 3 storage units full of Miami Hurricanes collectibles and It takes me around between 3 or 4 hours just to clean my collectibles and put them all back into their boxes.

I was barely conscious when the nurse tried to cut my Miami Hurricanes hockey Jersey )with a huge Sebastian on the front) off me.... I asked her to cut it as straight as possible so I could get buttons put on it and still wear it... Even in that moment I was thinking about the Canes...
