I remember some of these games..This guy was and probably still is considered one of the most dangerous players to ever play the college game. THE "U" you know what it is!
The difference between old Miami and new Miami is that the old Miami was angry and relentless. They gave it their all 100% of the time, that is why they dominated. They hated losing and you could tell. The recent recruits came in focused on going straight to the NFL, and we know that because of how many left early after average seasons instead of becoming better players. Until Miami gets its attitude back, we will always go 6-6. Go Canes!
My favorite Hurricane, along with Portis and Sean Taylor. I am a diehard Skins fan and been watching Moss, since he was at the U. Looking at him now and looking at this video, he is nowhere NEAR as fast. Santana could flat out FLY, when he was in his 20's.
I'll put him on that list of super special U players with Irvin,Jerome,Highsmith,,Blades,Vilma, Shockey,JimKelly,Ed Reed,,Ray Lewis,,Sapp,EdgerinJames...OK i'll stop.. \Funny thing is alot of those name played on same team..Good God what a team! McKinney,,Kennedy! (lol i don't wanna stop name dropping... Kozar,,Andre Johnson, Bubba Franks,,DOOKIE! Camblee,,Morgan,,
One of the underrated greats at Miami. Was an explosive playmaker while at Coral Gables, but had a much better pro career than most people would assume too. Played with flash and style, yet always put in the work to back it up. One of my favorite Canes ever.
Santanta Moss didn't get a football offer from the 'U he went there on a track scholarship.I said that to say this Santanta probably will go down as the greatest walk on player to ever played College Football also note that he went sixteenth overall to the New York Jets.
He actually was recruited for football, but the team had to squeeze a few speedy guys on the team by having them accept track scholarships and walk on to the football team due to the loss of scholarships from the NCAA sanctions from Butch Davis and Jimmy Johnson s violations. He wasn't really recruited by any d1 schools and really only got the look from Miami for being a legacy. CRAAAZZY dude could ball. The U 30 for 30 part two breaks it all down
Boyyyyyyyyyyyy I sure miss this dude! And I soooooooooo miss Ken Dorsey! He is the #1 QB of all time at UM and J-12 ended second in passing yards (8,826), total offense (8,823) and touchdowns thrown (70) But did you see the attitude that Moss had? None of our WR have that now! We need that mean anger from all positions. We have the talent for it just need the anger! Go Canes
I was lucky to see him play a few times. Against Washington, they had beaten us the previous year. Santana put up something like 160 rec yards, 2 TD, and a punt return TD. He was a game changer with an underrated pro career
Santana Moss was soo loved by Jets fans in FLorida. And make no mistake there are tons of Jets & Bills fans in South Fl... Moss was such a freaking Freak! Speed like that is soo special... he & Fred Taylor had amazing careers in NFL too..Both are kinda underrated at pro level but i love both of em....Fred Taylor was powerful for a faster RB... I mentioned him because they are both locals near where im from.
I just downloaded a Miami All Time team in NCAA 13, imagine Jim Kelly, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Michael Irvin on the field at the same time? They are the starters
Testing, testing, is this thing on... I pray that you are watching this Coach Manny Diaz. We NEED to be 'the team to beat again'. Move us forward... The 🙌
When you have a guy that's on a track ship it opens up another ship for someone else.... They do this all the time because football coaches have leverage, like you want him to run track as well ???
Hey Miami305alldade!!!This is off topic, but I'm not real familiar with "TH-cam" like that. I have been researching the "I'm so high jook" video and I see that you commented that you knew one of the dudes in the video. I'm trying to get info on them, are they a group? if so, do they have management and lastly, how can they be contacted. Serious business inquiry! Can you help me locate these dudes?I appreciate your time and efforts!!!Thanks
how is hester ahead of dre? dre had over 1000yds and 10td his redshirt soph year and then went pro...how is hester even listed as an all time great wr at miami? he isnt..he is the greatest returner ever but didnt do squat at wideout...are there more than 1 team that can be downloaded?

That old Miami was not cool. Y'all looked like a bunch of two bit thugs. Nobody respected you.
Watching old Canes highlights gives me chills. Very nostalgic 😔.

At the 2:50 mark, the guys on the sidelines are signaling touchdown, when he is 70 yards away from the goal line...damn, my boy was fast as ish!
That play @ 2:04 is funny as hell! smoked the DB so bad he tried to trip him with his feet!
Testing, testing, is this thing on... I pray that you are watching this Coach Manny Diaz. We NEED to be 'the team to beat again'. Move us forward... The 🙌

Big Players Make Big Plays in BIG GAMES! 'Tana coined the phrase...then backed it up with his play.
We had that U swag back in the day...Alum

I think Santana in his prime was faster than Devin Hester...I could be wrong, just my view.
Keena30212 you might be right lol
No way, Hester is UNREAL. Love them both.
Whaaaat noo devin hester is way faster
Hester was a blur in the open field. The TV cameras could hardly keep up with him!
