  • In this video we spend time in the field with 5 John Deere S790 combines as they race the rain to finish a 500 acre wheat field. This video allows viewers to see and hear John Deere's biggest combines harvesting wheat 45ft at a time, 3 John Deere 9420R 4wds working with Kinze 1105 grain carts and Mack Semi Trucks hauling the wheat away as the rain storm rolls in.

      How about compiling all the C&H footage on just one DVD [you have that technology!] and making it available to the public for $10-$15/copy and you can do the same for certain tractors [you have way, way more of those], and maybe create a series of tractor DVD's like 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...

    So instead of driving trucks, triaxles in the field people choose to put nearly half a million in simply moving the train to a semi. We still drive triaxles in the field here in muddy sugar beet fields. It's quicker, they might get stuck but they are ready to be pulled out with a quick hitch and a tractor waiting. It's a bit of a pissing contest with how big can you get. Different times. When farming was beyond long hours, it was hard manual labor and skills in welding and cutting finding quick solutions on the fly...., field fixes. Not calling the dealer.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because of the soybeans being planted right behind these combines as little disturbance to the field is necessary also carts try to stay on a path to reduce compaction for the second crop.

      The thunder is real. The machine noises of unloading were added in. I filmed this with my iphone so it did not pick the combines sound up well over the rain and wind. I added in the unloading sounds. That may be why is sounds choppy.
