It’s funny how yall only seem to acknowledge this when it’s women being compensated for dancing in very little clothing and not when it’s males bein drug dealers ACTUALLY causing people harm or males working at “official” corporations w “clean” images who make their money dirty also. What makes receiving compensation for stripping not good money? It’s a business. Old school people and people who want women remaining in a particular place ain’t gonna acknowledge that.

@@SupernaturalLove100 Ok, ill entertain your stupidity for a second to school you. For one being a stripper isn't something that a real man will want his wife to do or ones family would want, Steve explains the family part of that perfectly. Now, the phrase all money aint good money is an umbrella term and yes it does go for drug dealing too. Maybe you should come from under that rock you live in and talk to more people so you would learn that!

The same applies to every “official” corporation as well. All you’re doing it making it sound as if women don’t belong in these environments and only belong in “respectable” positions like being a “med assistant” but the reality remains which is that males go to see these shows and keep it a business. Why not tell your counterparts not to tune in to watch strippers? It’s a business.. Why would she settle for less money when what she’s doing is working for her and her child?

I’m not sure why this woman thought to ask him advice on this as if he wasn’t going to give the response that she essentially shouldn’t do that but maybe she’s an actress, who knows. My advice would’ve been that if it’s causing her mental and or physical anguish to dance on a pole, then to stop. But if it’s making her enough money for her and her child, if it’s a safe environment, and if she’s comfortable doing it then to continue to do her and not rely on other ppl’s approval, especially old heads

Neither is a lot of the money at these big corporations and or banks with a “better” image than stripping lol someone is always getting screwed over. With stripping, who’s getting screwed over? If her mental health and physical health is intact while she’s literally dancing for money, then I’d say it’s pretty good money considering she’s earning it. Women are seen as sexual creatures by perverse males and if women seek to take advantage of that for their own benefit then that’s their power

When Steve was listing what she's getting back there at the end, he forgot one of the most important, if not THE most important thing. She got HERSELF back. She went down a path where she couldn't look in the mirror no more. I'm usually pretty split in Steve's advice because most of the time they come from a pretty black and white traditional value system, but I think this segment was great. With every sentence deeper into the story, you could feel so much more weight stacking up more and more on her, but what Steve said seemed to have at the very least provide her a breather. She seems like a very caring person, I hope things go right with her kid and family.

As a mom, her parents aren't judging. Her parents are choosing not to participate nor support that lifestyle and her choices. If they did, they would be enabling her to go down a path that is a deadend with heartbreak. I as a mom would never make it easy on my child to excell in their bad choices. It's not judging, good parents that love their children will make it hard for them to keep making bad choices. It's a last resort we do when our children aren't receptive. If you advise these girls that these so called lewd life ain't worth it, they'll say..."oh don't judge me until you know my story", but in a reality, there's no damn story behind it, they mostly do it to quote on quote support their bills....and then they gradually get intoxicated in it becuz of the money they make every night,....before they realise, it become addiction and then leads them into temptations. A word to a wise, is enough 😒🤔🤔🤦🏽🤦🏽

Well said.....the story is just a scarcity mentality...the only way to get out of poverty and pay for my lifestyle is stripping....in total disregard of the children and the parents and the pain they will endure.

Exactly! Ive said this about so called gangsta rappers in other comments. That im shocked to hear so many of them had mothers and sometimes mothers and fathers that NEVER approved of that lifestyle, and if they caught them doing it, it was on. Im sitting here expecting to here some story of homeless at the age of 14, auntie wouldnt take me in, started selling drugs and robbin to get by, jumping house to house because being outside all the time is too dangerous and disgusting, etc.. Its like nah, I was just a bad kid. LMAO WUT. WUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!??
These people have no story other than their 7 deadly sins they succumbed to. THATS IT! Im not even religious, but its an understandable perspective for most of us. Also something is going on with the parents too. She said her dad said she could do until 30 and then make a decision. WHAT!!??????????? This is all just a pure mess. Two stupid parents making a confused child who is now an adult and still has like 20 years of wtf happened to figure out, and the world will not be nice to her. Soon as a man finds out shes a 30 year old baby mama stripper. GOOD LUCK!!

I'm not a religious person but I admire Steve. I even told people all money ain't good money. Stop chasing that easy money get out work your tail off. Feel better about yourself and losing loved ones over dirty money. You have a child to its time grow up set the example for your child. Do you want your child thinking that's what women supposed be? What if your son was a girl would you want her downgrade herself for money? Stop thinking of you and easy money. It's a shame seeing BEAUTIFUL ladies like this disrespect themselves. Remember CNA it's just meaning certified nursing assistant to me CNA means Class Not Ass remember that

As a parent, you don't want your child taking a road that leads to destruction. You want your life to be better. Ppl who have long term goals, know its long term sucess. I work in health care and we do put in long hours. For the most part I have enjoyed this career. As a person who likes to help others there's a reason why we work in health care. She took the easy road. Good advice Steve😃.

She’s no longer a child as she is an adult. Shes got a child of her own and is no longer living under their rules. The reality is that stripping is a business and remains one with males turning up to watch and give up their money for a show. Dancing on a pole is a sport in its own way despite it not being seen that way by older people due to the stigma associated with it being in little clothing. It’s quite different than being a sex worker and they should be grateful she didn’t go that way. Money made in stripping doesn’t compare to being a medical assistant and if it’s benefitting her and her baby and not damaging her physical or mental health along the way assuming she’s doing so in a safe environment with security, then she shouldn’t b ashamed. It’s a job. The parents are old school. She needs to be firm in her choices and not look for approval.

Mr. Harvey, this interview hits right at home for me. No one knows what a parent goes through when their own son or daughter make this kind of choice and how devastating it is for the grandkids. And when parents speak up for the best good of their adult child they don't want to hear it and estrange themselves from the parent, which in of its self is self harming as is the stripping. Then there are the baby's to consider. Thank you Steve for speaking on this! No amount of money is worth the life of your family and especially the damage it can cause for the grandbabies. My granddaughters are three years old and four months old, already taken by CPS for the endangerment they have been subjected to. And the parents refuse to allow us to see them. My heart is just broken! 😢
I have always had such repect and appreciate for Mr. Harvey's advice and this just tops it off; again thank you! Please personally thank Mr. Harvey for me. One day I will meet him and thank him myself for the many times he has changed my life. I have great respect for you. This from myself coming from a place of extreme need for understanding as I was born and raised in a colt.

I always ask myself what I’m contributing to our society and whether it's positive or negative. A doctor helps us with our health, a pilot makes it possible for us to visit our loved ones, and a police officer ensures our safety. As a car mechanic, I bring cars to life, enabling people to take their kids to school, contribute to society, and get groceries. I might fix a car for a doctor so they can save lives and pick up their kids from school, and one day, that doctor might perform surgery to save my life. This is what I mean by contributing to society. On the other hand, what does a stripper provide? Nothing.
