I think the saddest part is them coming back years later still needing validation from some bullying losers. I was the person who was cool with everybody in school and I stopped any bullying that took place in my presence. I'm still like that now.
I get what you are saying but being teased by kids can be devastating and affect you as an adult. If you didn't endure it, then you can't understand...I wouldn't want to do anything like this but having a sense of vindication can be freeing for some people
@@toyafoster3173I agree . I got teased an I'm still recovering. Got teased for wearing pay less shoes and because my weight would go up and down due to having pcos . I'm glad I don't have the facial hair part because I would have gotten teased more. Also I'm from the stl and it was only blacks bullying me. I had to prove I was fully black because I'm smart and can read well. Also they didn't believe I was black because hair texture is more on the 4a side . It was hell but half of them are dead due to gun violence.
There’s no nothing sad about that, I’m sure you probably get validation every day via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., etc. back then they didn’t have any of those sites , barely even had internet,so the only place you could really get validation/ notice was to come on tv . Back in the 90s and the 80s the only way to ever get yourself out there, was to either get on a radio station or on a TV show.

I almost forgot that Tempestt had a talk show back in the day. I used to watch it all the time. OMG. The algorithm put this channel in my list of recommendations. I had never heard of it before up until now. Now, I'm curious to see what other talk show gems from my 90s adolescence I can find. Looking back on it, I used to watch a ton of these shows. Jenny Jones, Richard Bey, Jerry Springer (before he turned trashy), Ricki Lake, some Latino guy who had a show...I think his name was Perez---I can't remember his first name. Boy, it's bringing back memories!

I hate to say but I also got picked at in high school and middle school and the one thing that helped change me was when I started working. Let me tell you back then was hard for me,because I had thought about taking my own life, but now I’m much better. Thank god for me having gone through all of that , because it made me the person that I am today a proud father and husband.

I know their feelings where hurt in high school, but they did these people a favor! A lot of those people who were fine in school were ran through and not so nice looking now!
Herman looked great back in high school and had a great smile and great personality but he learned to gain extra confidence and he wound up getting a girlfriend. Karinka had class and smart but she later gained more confidence and has class and sass. I bet Lamont's best friend probably felt dumb after he saw this show. Lamont needed a fan to fan himself. Lisa was into buff guys who also was into keeping up with the times as in fashion but she was suprised to see that Bret made a great transformation and learned that all models are not buffed. The last guest's story was inspiring. It was refresing to learn that they became friends and helped each other throughout life. Demitra was probably having wet dreams after this show.
I remember when I was young and went through my ugly duckling days. I was wishing when I grew up I’d be as beautiful as the ugly duckling guests. I got my glow up and never end up going.
