I know a lot of situations where the men wished their women would follow them in their goals. The women always find excuses. It's just easy for them. Especially in a climate where if any time a woman is criticized, she is allowed to be babied while the man is ostracized for pointing out things.
She didnt take the easy way out. But..to be honest, she had that trip as huge motivation as well. Most other women just have their man who will be their main motivation, and they don't care.
And going back..obviously he probably tried before she came on the show the first time. But she didn't wsnt just his approval. But when Steve gave her the option for that trip.....
Anyhow, she still deserves the props.
My advice in this situation is:
„Don’t force your wife to stay fit, let her get inspired by yourself.“
