because she's not funny compared to comedians. She's hilarious and one of the best, but only for a comedianne, not overall. And there's really almost no competition and nine-tenths of her competition, like Joan Rivers (who makes this woman invisible), is already dead.

This is the second time that I watched one of Mrs. Vee's shows. She's very funny. I noticed that in both of her shows, her audience laughs in a very distinctly different way than US audiences. The UK audience laughs as if they are controlled by a switch: punchline----everyone begins laughing in unison and then stops in unison. Switch on. Switch off. A US audience sounds like an orchestra tuning up before a concert: smattering of anticipation laughter; punchline----swell of laughter to a crescendo, tapering off, then some people reviewing the punchline in their mind and "re-laughing" which ripples along like white noise for a moment. It's a messy process. But the Brits? Laugh on. Laugh off. Very precise and concise
I think they are tuning the laughter/other sounds off when she's talking. You can hear that her voice through the microphone sounds different the laughs can be heard.
I have two female doctors from India who were instrumental in my recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. One is a part of my life still today. All business 100% and BLUNT. I found their humor to be very clever, sly, and dry - maybe even deadpan. And then the inability to kinda hide their satisfaction of cracking themselves up. This was the very thing that showed me their “humanity” and the beginnings of the wisdom and knowledge I came to embrace. I loved this so much!!!
I love this lady!! very funny, so refreshing for me an Indo Canadian to hear a hilarious Indian lady comedian talk about these things we all have in common with our Indian mothers! thank you!!!
😂 Have another one and raise I properly. Lmao! I can't tell you how many times as an Italian/southern mom I have looked at my son and said "If you want to act like a hillbilly I'll send you to live with the damned hillbillies!" He's a good boy.
Have laughed a lot so thank you. Just wanted to say that I have always thought parents should learn from their children while teaching them. I once had a dumb French Arab student say to me: "So the answer rimes with the question!". I said: "What?" - HE answered "Where = There / What = That / When = Then" The dumb French Arab student had just taught the teacher.
Basically if they aren’t American, they do a lot more to discipline their children. I’ve seen so many parents fail to discipline their children, and the result in now entitled young adults who think the world is owed to them. And the best part is, we get to deal with them
Love this women... She hit the nail on the head.. That's coming from an Indian mum born and raised in South Africa. But off course Indian mums are the same all over the world.. 😂😂....so not gonna share this with my kids tho 😂😂
Indian parenting is just the best.I'm 22 and doing very good overall especially mental health. Becoz instead of coddling and treating me like a flower they prepared me for the real world. And they were not always hard at times when I was going through some hardships they showed properly how much they loved me.
You must not have listened to the whole thing, she said a couple of holy s%&@, regular s%&@, and a big ole stfu at 11:25 Not saying it wasn’t a great set, it definitely was, but “without a single word of profanity” is not exactly accurate.
Why isn't she more well known ? One of the best comics out there.
