We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. I went to Ao Nang twice back in 2018 and 2020, and did the 4 Islands Tour (one of the them was the sunset one) on both occasions. Krabi is my favourite Thailand destination with all these amazing tours like Railey, 4 Islands Tour, Hong Islands Tour and Phi Phi Islands Tour as well as going to the Emarald Pool, Hot Springs and climbing up 1300 steps to the top of Tiger Cave Temple. Ao Nang beach is great but there is a nicer and quieter beach which is 15 minutes drive called Klong Muang beach if you haven't been there yet.

I would like to tell you that Railay Beach is actually not an island. Only, this beach is land that can only be reached by boat. Because it is a cape that is difficult to travel by land because there are mountains blocking the way.
