I think the big thing that is being missed when people bring up how bakugan already requires toys is that because of the life decking mechanic in the reboot Bakugan is one of the few games that doesn't require dice. Three marble sized spheres replacing d20s or a box of d6s is fine. It's basically as easy to store. A bunch of unwieldy toys that are often bigger or more oddly shaped requires much more unique storage. This is probably why the original traps were so boring looking. Well if you want to play the toy battling game, then you woule essentially just want to buy high B power Bakugan. If you're buying them from a purely collectional perspective, then that's all based on you and your prefences on Bakugan, the faction color design, the design itself etc. But of course regardless from what perspective your doing it from, you have to do your research.

My 4 and a half year old just got into Bakugan and this channel has been extremely vaulable in understanding what's what for this old school TCG player 😁 Keep the content coming!
I managed to pick up a few Geogan a few days ago, and I like a lot of these molds. Real big fan of Arcleon. I think they're great from an engineering/toy angle. As for the game itself, apart from the "you need the toy" part, I think their implementation is ok. I'm actually thinking of throwing Aquos Viperagon into my deck as it fits in rather nicely. That being said, I agree that we should very slowly integrate things from here on. Wait a WHILE before we see anything else new, if at all. We just got Bakugear and Fusions, and now Geogan in quick succession, and I'm worried Spinmaster is more interested in dropping new hooks rather than seeing how far they can push the ones they've already cast.
I am commenting agian because there isnt a new video to comment on yet but I just have a quick and important question.... for me anyways.... Where can I buy a play mat like yours with the Hexagons on it because I am not a big fan of the cheap I bought from walmart...?
I haven't had too many opportunities to brawl with people in-person, but I have noticed no one used the "trap" cores like the -500B Magic Shield. What you said about geogan adding a core-stealing mechanic previously only found in Haos means those trap cores may become more widely used.
I collect Bakugan for aesthetics only, so my opinion is totally alien in relation to how Geogan will impact the game. Bakugan toys grew on me primarily as design art, since I had almost nobody to play with from when I was a little girl. So, I'll support Geogans if their unusual shapes allow Spin Master to experiment with unique, interesting designs like the amazing Battle Planet Ultras. I especially miss complexity!
Thanks for the informative video Jett! 😁 I was worried these would be like the traps from Season2. I wish Bakugan were a thing where I live (here in India)
I'm a brand new Bakugan player (as in I just got home from the store with my first starter pack and a few boosters earlier today). I also have to wear glasses and have a nerve disorder in my hands that causes pretty bad hand tremors that make fine motor skills very difficult. I definitely think it's good that you brought up disabilities and the possible challenges that disabled people face, and I can see how this mechanic of the game can raise the barrier to entry for some players. As I'm just joining the Bakugan scene, I'm not familiar of any disabilities accommodations that exist, but I think that with some tweaks the game could be more inclusive. I know the legacy series had those wrist things that shot out the bakugan for you, so maybe have a tool that players could use that can help them roll the bakugan (the mental picture I have in my head is at bowling alleys how they have those rails that can help small kids or disabled people roll the ball if it's too heavy for them). As for the Geogans, maybe having some kind of measuring or alignment tool to help guide their eyes and hands during the process.

Bro pls do more classic bakushowdowns
Hello! I'm new on your channel and I come from Poland. But when I watched your one video, I immediately watched the next one, your videos are wonderful thanks to them I know more about bakugans, so far I have one called Turtonium, it's such a turtle. I will of course subscribe to your channel because as I mentioned you are great! keep recording such videos, greetings from Poland :)
SERIOUSLY CONFUSED
Thank you Jett. Maybe someone important in SM is actually watching.
Thanks man you helped me and I'm pretty sure many others to start to play bakugan. Keep up the good work!
I don’t really know if they’re good or bad for Bakugan but I personally like Geogan and can’t wait to get some :D
Hi Jettkuso I will be back in three hours
My 4 and a half year old just got into Bakugan and this channel has been extremely vaulable in understanding what's what for this old school TCG player 😁 Keep the content coming!
This is amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Where can you find geogan? I looked at target and they only had a big play set
I’m telling you jetts going to be the next world wide Bakugan news 😂 and thanks for explaining everything so clearly
The editing here is top tier👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Waiting gang ✌
You give me Fox kids, Jetix vibes, nostalgic....unconsciously thats why i watch the videos.
That’s wonderfully specific, I love it
I still like the old bakugan with gate cards better
I like toys and support mechanic for one move, but I don't want to take another toy and drop it from a height
I love Bakugan but it makes me sad that no one plays it around in my area 😕 Btw I do love your Bakugan Playmat 🙂
We just got Bakugear and Fusions, and now Geogan in quick succession, and I'm worried Spinmaster is more interested in dropping new hooks rather than seeing how far they can push the ones they've already cast.
wait what?
This vid was super enjoyable to watch!
Bakugan...
I really like this channel I follow it for long time I really like bakugan keep up great work ❤
The Geogan is actually a boy! Stop! IT’S A TRAP
Kohdok JettKuso crossovers always warms my spark
10:00 geogan: magically not fit in the zip lock bag
I collect Bakugan for aesthetics only, so my opinion is totally alien in relation to how Geogan will impact the game.
Bakugan toys grew on me primarily as design art, since I had almost nobody to play with from when I was a little girl. So, I'll support Geogans if their unusual shapes allow Spin Master to experiment with unique, interesting designs like the amazing Battle Planet Ultras. I especially miss complexity!
Literally you make some good points Jett
Literally any shape ever: Exists
