I just found out i bought a sh*t ton of combiners as a kid and didn't even realize it except maxus dragonoid i used him to assert dominance on my brother

Me having never played anything related to bakugan since the second grade and not even remembering how to play the game: ah yes, I should buy this now.

I remember getting maxus dragonoid in Christmas, when I tried to transform him I think I got a defective one because one of the leg traps exploded, like it got divided in two, I got sad and my mom went to ask for a refund and see if they got another one, the toy area was a wasteland nothing left just a maxus Helios there, I got sad and we were leaving the store to maybe check if in another one they had him, we were reaching the exit of the store right by the Washing Machines, Frezeers and other electrodomestics when she got distracted by looking at a new washing machine, I was bored hearing the explanations of the seller about the machine when I noticed something inside one of the machines in the back, there it was, a Maxus Dragonoid somebody probably hide because they wanted it and probably didn’t had money at the time, I took it out and my mom bought it for me.
To this day I have it and will not attempt to transform the leg traps in closed forms ever again.

@@arinzeebuka8647 Hey, even I hate to say it, but as someone who collects figures(not Bakugan, per say), I'll just say: finders keepers.
I actually had the Maxus Helios box set as a kid, and the shared gray color scheme of all the Bakugan looks much better than a mosh-mash of attributes. Though I will admit it had some trouble staying perfectly still. Some of the pegs wouldn’t stay in (though this mainly happened years later),and Fencer was always popping its legs out. I still loved it, though, up until I gave my Bakugan away a couple of years ago.
And I got all of them except Leefram from a flea market.
I wasn't aware there were more combiners than the Maxus Dragonoid and Helios but I got those two as a kid and loved them

Geoforge Dragonoid, you get a Drago core (with metal!) and 6 geogan that combine together much like maxus did
from what ive seen it looks better than Maxus
I STILL have my Maxus Dragonoid set after all these years! When I first got it as a birthday present, there was something about it that made me think "This is so badass" 😆

Did anyone else ever try making their own combinations with the leg system? I always liked seeing what monstrosities I could create by sticking Spindle's peg in the hole meant for BakuNano on MS Bakugan. Have just a regular Infinity Helios? Ba-BAM now he's got a giant scorpion-looking...tail...thing...

I actually have a Maxus Dragonoid myself, but the smaller parts on the wings broke. Also, Brachium(Haos) is the left arm and Grafias(Aquos) is the right arm because of the rotational joint they both have since they are retools of each other.
I would like to see the Japan combinations back though not the teenage mutant Bakugan

When I was a kid I really wanted Maxus dragonoid, so my Mom stole it from a target for me. Now looking back at it, it wasn't her best move as a role model for me, but I was still a happy camper nonetheless 😈

i honestly think it would be awesome if they made a legacy series of new bakugan that are designed like the originals like for example the original dragonoid
I never knew that the 4 legged claw Bakugan for Maxus Dragonoid was supposed to go on its back. I always put it on his right or left arm to create a claw-esque weapon.
2:05 Actually, it was possible to connect it with viper helios.
Also, dynamo and brontize was able to combine in the anime and also the toy.
For season 3 combiners, I guess you could consider dragonoid colossus and dharak colossus as a combiner.
I just want a bakugan game where I can have my own custom bakugan and be able to choose it's type, sorta like the first bakugan for the wii and ds except instead of just having leonidas you could make your own

Thank you so much for making a somewhat of a "Baku-History" video! I can't be the only one that grew up buying these and playing but not really understanding all the sets and lore behind everything. Please keep making videos like this to inform this growing informationless bakugan community!

I feel like Mechtagon Destroyer should've gotten a spot on here, four big Mechtagon taking ages IRL to form into one big boi made my childhood
I never used bakumutants as combiners, I just used them because some of them were dual attributes, and many of them had high power levels in the thousands.

I'm glad you are doing a video on this. I think Bakutech was a good balance for the game because G-Power levels were equal and not over 1000. Plus, I enjoy these systems Spinmaster/Sonokong/Sega Toys came up with!

I don't know how I ended up on Bakugan TH-cam... But I like it. Maxus Dragonoid was such a flex when my parents got me it for Christmas in 3rd grade. I remember taking it to school and showing it off to everyone. So much nostalgia.
They should've done a Bakugan combiner but in the color scheme of the Decepticon combiner Devastator
Maybe even some special molding on the inside to make the pieces look like constructicons

the only combo i had was shuns with the hound and bird, and the chicken and long legs. i think i had drago with his partner at one point too, but idr. now i want these again
Maxus Dragonoid was by far my favorite combiner out of everything, mostly because I couldn't get my hands on a Maxus Helios or the individual parts for him before the stores stopped selling them and moved onto Gundalian Invaders.
But Meta Altair is still pretty cool imo, because one, it was the original combination in the show and 2, my Wired can actually combine Via the Meta Altair method with other bakugan with a similar foot style. Like my Ventus Wavern and Ventus Wired. (I can't seem to find a decently priced Ventus Altair to complete my set) But the combination, while goofy looking, still looks pretty cool.
It's a cartoon, so it's meant to look a little goofy sometimes. I get where you're coming from and I DESPISE the later stuff specifically because you had.....(sigh) Bakufusions, Bakumutants, AND Bakunano to choose from.
Not to also mention that you could STILL use traps, battle gear, and mobile assault vehicles.

I wondered why I never got into Bakugon as a kid, then at 1:20 I heard him and immediately said, "Jenga? Jenga Hagane?" And I figured it out.
I remember thinking that the Maxus, Colossus, and Mechtavius Destroyer being the cool and epic kids in the meta days, even comparing them with Transformers' Devastator (I have no clue why they chose Marvel over the more logical franchise for a crossover). I would have own them to my everlasting delight, but the costs still break my heart. At least I had fun playing Defenders of the Core on my DS. ^^'

Does anyone else remember tigrerra from the original serie? Also Jett, If mech suits are added to the Bakugan TCG, How do you think it would play out? ( by play out I mean like adding an extra b power advantage or attack advantage)
I don't much like the idea of adding gameplay-supported support pieces, or card types without ALSO introducing interesting new mechanics to go along with them.
Like having a b power boost but decreasing your attack or having a way to be repel a support card ( by that I mean switching the battle from higher b power to higher attack)
adding mech suits would ruin this game again!!!!!
What if they added mech suits as a "shield" type item where the suits have to be destroyed before the lifedeck takes any damage?

Thank you for covering the old series toys. These were my main thing back in the day. I still have my maxus helios and dragonoid, both in the OG color schemes. Would love to see more battle brawlers content

Kind of a missed opportunity to have some of these recolored to resemble Devastator, Bruticus, Menasor, Superion, and Computron
I think it would be cool to see combiner bakugan in the way that baku-tech mastered the way their bakugan series. If it's like the baku-mutants then it will be a stain on the new generation of bakugan. I wouldn't mind seeing traps return to the franchise, maybe have it to where you need to charge it up to use the trap then it loses power to the point where it costs 1 energy more to use it again. I think Spin Master needs to make a small effort in making a few cards that allow you to shuffle your discard pile back into your deck, and make that card energy affordable to be used in gameplay.
2:10 actually he can combine with Viper Helios, there’s a peg hole on Viper Helios’s back and a little notch on the tail that goes into a little rectangular hole on the bottom of Metal Fencer

I wish they made one for storm skyress she was/is my partner at least a custom blue aquas one that is 😏 so sense they did not make one I had some extra old school Maximus dragonoid parts and I made my own Maximus storm skyress 😎 with that I also have a normal aquas pyris subterra and ventes all I need is a darkness and a haos one 😎I wish I could show you it looks pretty cool 😎I guess if their hasn’t Ben a Maximus bakugan who is your favorite you make one your self with a little bit if imagination😎

Thinking back i like that the mechanical ones were cg. It gave them personality and showed how out of place and wrong they were to make. They freaked me out as a kid

Also you forgot that Heleos and Metal fencer can combine using the pege on metal fencer tail. Well I think it's possible, I only saw the picture ( I only have metal fencer and don't have Heleos ).

I got rid of most of my collection as a kid, but I somehow ended up keeping every part of Maxus Dragonoid EXCEPT Dragonoid, so now it's just a pile of traps.

Maxis Dragonoid was cool for the obvious reasons, but there were two more I liked. One was that Spyderfencer(I had to google, the X shaped one) could attach to the back OR be a really big claw. The other is that the pins were laid out in such a way you can close every single one of them almost completely WHILE COMBINED. The only exceptions I can remember were Neo Dragonoid's feet, and Spitarm(had to google that one too, the triangle)'s tail, which didn't even matter because Spitarm's peg can be out without the tail, and Neo Dragonoid's feet were the usual manual parts.

I never really cared for bakugan as a kid and I'm not sure why I'm watching this now but damn the video production so high quality and you some how make this so interesting lol
The most familiar I am with Bakugan is the Wii game and a few episodes that replayed on TV before I left for school about 8 years ago. Why am I watching this now, and better yet why am I finding it entertaining?
Brontes had a fusion with Dynamo, a spider trap bakugan, the fusion looked like Altair & Wired's real life game combination, but it was a sphere in top of a exagon-looking thing.
Also, Ingram had combinationd with a trap bakugan, Hylash, that was just Ingram in their bird form carrying it while being close like in its ball form and a bakugan-summoned-thing, Shadow Wing, that fused with Master Ingram like Altair and Helios' traps.
Small story but
As a kid i got all the parts for Maxus Dragonoid
Maxus Dragonoid was the desire of my childhood
I loved how big it looks

Etc
But
For some dumb reasons
I thought that you needed some exoskeleton or something to connect them(my primitive brain couldn't process the power of joints)
And all this time,i didnt realize that all i had to do was connect them
A couple years ago,my mom threw away all my old Bakugan....(for no reason too)

I DISCOVER THAT THE TOY I WANTED DURING MY CHILDHOOD THE MOST

As someone who just got his Geoforge Dragonoid 2 weeks ago, I'm surprised the TCG didn't give him some kind of Exodia-like treatment: just try your best to get all Geogan cards into your hand and BAM, Exodi- err I mean, GEOFORGE DRAGONOID!!!
