They aired it around 12am midnight for some reason and since I was pulling off a lot of late nighters to finish off work or study, the show became a nighttime companion for me. I liked it, the aesthetic had this Jak and Daxter vibe that felt nostalgic to me.
The art style and idea of slugs transforming into their full forms is pretty cool. Plus, i think the fights are pretty much like rock, paper, and scissors, but much more variety

@@drakootherat1735 notice the fact there are barely any ores except gold and lumino ore and maybe some other metals but like red hook said they have made some ores extinct in the caverns and people do not drill out that far down and do not drill beyond any part of the caverns edge likely cutting them off from those materials also even if somebody found them why would you go out to get something like a bullit that likely costs more to shoot than what you can feed a hop rock or grenuke slug to blow a person up and kill them plus they can be used several more times than a bullet and if they did the heat caused by the guns would build up in the caverns causing a new form of global warming for them cause there is one exit and entrance from the surface and it is not that big so the heat would build up faster than it escaped
this makes me so happy, ive been talking to people about this show but no one knows it, it makes me happy that other people know how elite this show was

This cartoon is both a wisp in my memory yet stands out so much. Like all cartoons i grew out of them before i could see them finish unfortunately so glad these videos exist.
after that it was revealed that dr black had a son who also was from the surface he tried to restart Black's plan by controlling the slugs but was eventually defeated.
Except he wasn't.... it was a 4 part season that ended up in a cliffhanger when Dr blakk's son dropped to the underworld and got caught by his own slug that can fly. We never had an episode since.
If I didn't see this video, I would have gone the rest of my life without remembering that I watched this as a kid. Not sure if that's a blessing or a curse.

Just a few names you didn't say properly: Locke and Lode are pronounced as "Lock and Load", since Locked and Loaded is a term. Junjie is pronounced as "June-J". But overall really good video compressed in just 24 minutes! Slugterra has such a unique story and was such a great show, but it's a shame Wildbrain couldn't spare the budget to continue the show.

This was my favourite show of all time as a kid. Looking back , the story is still amazing and stands its ground. The show literally had everything It had friendship, a good villain , a heroes journey, betrayal , shadow clan, zombies, pirates,scrap hunters, prison escapes, tribes and mini bosses. It could have been a great video game or a series if it had continued
