To add on at 10:34 In TCG, when you play a bakugear on a Bakugan that already has a bakugear, you can choose which bakugear to discard and which to keep. This might SEEM silly but some gears have effects when you play them. So, if you have a gear with an effect you want to activate, but the gear already equipped to your Bakugan has better base stats, you can choose to discard the gear you just played to keep the good stats
Would you be able to play a gear on top of a evolved bakugan? Also, are baku-gear kinda like a way to help those bakugan who don't have a good evo be well. Better?
M the OK Gamer Ya! You can totally play a bakugear on any Bakugan whether it’s evoed or not. They are just for boosting stats and getting effects. They totally make Bakugan without evos much better. I usually play them with the intent of winning the brawl, but you can totally play them on a Bakugan with the intent of winning a future brawl with them

So Baku-Gear is basically Battle Gear done right and with a focus on the Game not selling as many toys as possible(though of course they want you to buy the toys still) and with a better ideal towards the future since much easier to make the toys compatible without design constraints honestly if they keep that kind of design philosophy. I kind of want them to Introduce mechtogan back as long as they as 1. not required to be brought with you(tied with most important), 2. don't break the balance so it them or lose(also most important) and 3 look as cool as possible. like the ideal of them was cool, the actual implantation on the other hand wasn't

Yes. In fact, the gear packs don't even come with a card of the same bakugear as the toy. The card game and the toys are 100% separate, functionally. However you are certainly allowed to put the toy gear on the Bakugan when you equip a gear card, if that pleases you.

I really like these a heck of a lot more than Battle Gear because I don't have to constantly flip down little wings and shove them on the Nubs and also as long as they're still balls and I can roll them I'm good and yes I am an OG fan
Depends on the gear and the deck you’re running. Turn two and later during battle is good for glimmering glaive (one of the best cards in the game,) haobracers is good as soon as playable but is basically the same time you would play a beat stick evo, scorching swords are good in a helix deck when you have B power advantage already or in victor stage, there is an aquos reroll one that is really good just use as a reroll with +100 for free off a GC core, aquos trox wants you to play a gear card on it during the turn of its battle every time, aurelus nillious ultra should get gear placed on it before in battle or during battle.
Also you usually want to play them when you have a cheap reroll in hand so you can switch from a GC core to a more powerful core after paying for the gear.
That Bakugan at 6:20 is probably one of my personal favorites. Don't know what its name is, and I'm not a competitive Bakugan player, but I do have that Bakugan.

There is a bit! Originally I'd filmed a clip mentioning Entropic Touch, which destroys all opponent's gear, but I ended up cutting that clip for time.
