That is a nice-looking shower. Really like the nook. I noticed they started selling the shelf at lowes. Tried it on my last shower and put the matching threshold under pocket door. It's cool when you can get these products and not have to wait 4 weeks like the old days. Great job.
Man truly beautiful work Steve! I've been using mapei ultracolor plus fa, but will have to try this on my next job, looks great to work with. Epoxy grout always scared the crap out of me, but the ardex looks much more user friendly than the stuff I saw years ago.
Nice job ! I used to grout epoxy from Mapei + vinegar to clean 4x showers a day for 3 years~ (+ thw whole house in F.A) and my hands eventually got chemical burns - even after wearing gloves heavy duty gloves. After stopping, my hands went back to normal though. Love your vids and just wanted to share my experience 😊
Meant to ask you this for a while. Im curious because I run my own business and it does get excessive at times. How do you go about getting permits for electrical and plumbing? Is it all under one permit, under 'renovation or remodel'? And do they require drawings for all your jobs? I know PA can be different from NJ.

Doesn't the cut sheet tell you to use Dawn soap in your rinse water?
What about sealing the grout after it’s dried? Is it a necessary step to prevent from mold and moisture?
Epoxy doesn’t need sealing as far as I know
