Hi. From Italy. I am so sad about your symptoms. I am following you for months now. It has been so enlightening to listen to your analyses. I have no words able to smooth your suffering. Just my love and my appreciation for the gift you are for humanity. A big hug.
Vlad, I'm sorry you're having a rough time, but I want you to know you're an absolute inspiration! Not just because of your willingness to document your illness and communicate the journey to us (which in itself goes a long way for similarly suffering folks) but also because of the thoughtfulness, charity, and insight you bring to every conversation. Due to some similar symptoms, I've been struggling to finish the curriculum for my first college-level teaching position, but you give me some well-needed motivation to keep going. Thanks for your candor and everything you do, and please take care of yourself as best you can!
Hi Vlad I'm so glad you're at the leading edge with research and treatment; you'll be first up as new options come into being! Please grant yourself every comfort and benefit! Your thoughts and voice are completely imperative in these times especially - and far beyond!
Thanks for the videos Vlad. I'm sorry you're suffering so much from multiple health issues. I suffered from ME for several years and I remember how totally debilitating it was. There is no magic cure but it is possible to recover. Listen to your body and rest when it tells you to rest. You're doing a great job with the videos. I hope you start feeling better very soon. Sending love ❤
Thank you for letting us into to your physical feelings and symptoms, and I’m so sorry to hear how much you’re struggling. It’s hard for viewers to realize what you’re going through because of how calm, collected and warm you are in your videos, so it’s really enlightening to see a video like this where you describe the physical symptoms you’re going through. Sending you warmth and love in these rocky waters.
As someone who also has ME/ long COVID I’m so sorry. I’m also so grateful for the awareness you bring to both. Hoping you return to a better baseline soon.
You are an inspiration. Sorry for the weak words, but it is maybe better for me not to try to say (and be) more in a yt comment. Your example makes me see straight. I wish you well.
Your resilience and your capability to keep your mental sanity despite such suffering is awe-inspiring. Prayers for a quick improvement and thanks and respect for the medical team that cares for you 🙏❤️🩷🧡💛💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🤍
Sending you healing hugs from US. Brave you are and so caring to keep us all informed, and still try to inform us on your chats. Horrible symptoms. Your beautiful community sends love, peace and endurance in this difficult time. Thinking of you often.
Sending love to you, Vlad - as someone with a different chronic illness (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis), you have a way to share the real challenges people face. As you said, that is so important.
No words Vlad, but as a fellow sufferer of an intractable chronic illness I send heartfelt compassion. I understand suffering and stuckness. May you break through to a better place.
Thank you for the update. I’m sending hope and prayers for a lessening of symptoms and healing of overall illness you’re experiencing. I always look forward to seeing your smiling face and I worry about you when I don’t see you. I know you need rest though, so please have your favorite soup and tea. Be sure to keep warm in this cold weather. Don’t forget to find some sunshine daily even if it’s through a window.
I have chemical damage in my nasal mucosa, and GERD from a hiatal hernia. It's not the same, but it's chronic, so I feel for anyone suffering from chronic conditions. They can be so debilitating. I hope you start feeling better. I am subscribed to Physics Girl who is a popular youtuber, she has shared her struggle with Long Covid, and hers is very severe. She can barely talk. Atm I'm trying holistic options and bpc-157 for healing.
It is difficult to talk about, which is why we appreciate that you do. I've told people sometimes that my blood feels like it's molasses. Cement seems worse.
They only sure thing in life is that it is always in the process of change. That of course can mean getting worse or getting better or even some combination of the two.. The body does try to heal itself and I'm glad you have access to the best medical experts and care. Tho all that they can really do is to aid the body in repairing itself to go on living. I'm sending hope, prayers and love to you for relief from these symptoms, and that you find that time and treatments help you to regain better overall health. From Vermont USA ❤️
I am so grateful for you sharing your experience. This sharing of experiences and open exchange of information will help the medical field progress toward finding answers, even as some deny the existence of post-COVID or long-COVID.
Blessings on your Path from Alabama USA. Please try to relax, ask your brain to give you some rest now and then. The only leftovers I have from long covid (March 2019) is intense sweating from my scalp and shortness of breath if I do any walking. I've had my heart and lungs checked multiple times but always turn out ok. Just remember that we all care about you, and if you need time, just take it. 🌹
Thank you for sharing and talking about this. It is important. I wish for any little improvement that you can get. I know this feeling of being stuck with illness.
So sorry for this stuck-ness, beautiful Vlad. That sucks. Daily prayers continue. Lots of care from your medical professionals and your beautiful community! Hang on!
Very well expressed....you are a strong man...as I am...I say that without boasting....to go through what we ho through takes so many kinds of braveries
I am amazed by your attitude and clarity of thought while you are clearly suffering physically and as your tone conveyed - a bit emotionally. I don't think I would have such "grace under pressure" as you exhibit. Wishing you get unstuck soon.
I want to express how impactful your chats are, I find myself reaching into your insights in this time. I wish you well, and thank you for living your purpose for the minutes you are able x My daughter has diagnosed ME at 16, possibly from walking pneumonia, I am unconfirmed, but terrifically similar after multiple virus and bad interactions with medication. No Dr helpful, as yet. Ever hopeful.
This sound so awful, dear Vlad, it's heartbreaking. I wish we would have billions going into health research instead of f. ex. campaign ads. We sure move into the wrong direction of oligarchies taking over, funding only what they need to get even richer. I hope, you will get unstuck soon, Vlad, until then, please do not spend your energy on us. Lots of love to you and the Beautiful Community. 🤗 🌻
Oh, Vlad, I just can’t express to you the right words here - I’m so deeply sorry about your ongoing health struggles. Please know that you are an amazing person who I admire for your great mind and who I always look to for a better understanding of the horrendous workings of the dictatorships (sadly more than we like to admit) that we have in our midst today. Sending you some “get well” vibes across the miles, and our love ❤
Yes, much love to you. I know several persons with perhaps “mild” ME who are now disabled with COVID/ME who struggle to be taken seriously by family or medical community. One in particular has been able to get on disability, however. And lives on a shoestring WITH a room mate. Your condition is far worse. To an extent your situation is the worst I have heard of, with the possible exception of Science Girl. I remember early on a lot of, should I call this stage 1 or primary infection COVID patient, had these heart problems, I guess coagulation events. (I had a silent heart attack some years ago, so I can guess some of the obvious medications, which obviously haven’t sufficed then or now). I feel for you; with the fine, cutting edge medical help, still being left with few or no options. I see from a recent Science Girl update that she has undergone two procedures that seem to help with some of her symptoms, which may be a glorious thing for her. But surely medical persons supervising your care are well aware of these options. First off, how to help your blood chemistry, heart problems? I feel so for you. You seem so humane; and you contribute so much to our lives and our ability to cope with a world that seems to be falling apart. It makes me want to cry to see such a person suffer so. Good luck, Vlad.
Oh Vlad, it's heartbreaking to hear you relate your struggle. I wish somehow you could get a bit of relief. Actually, a lot of relief. It's not too much to wish for.
Thank you for sharing Vlad. I'm less privileged with good doctors than you but also less severe and I have not had covid yet so I guess that's to my advantage. Medical intolerance is immensely frustrating and confusing. I really hope the docs finds something that works for you. All the best.
Much love ❤ and Hugs to you Vlad, I am so sad to hear what you are going thru. I hope the incredible speed on genetics 🧬 discoveries will find a treatment to repair the DNA error causing your M.E. using CRISPR.
plz eat the best way you can to try to beat this virus/flu etc. You know your body listen to it. Get enough rest its only way give yourself a chance to heal. Sending healing prayers.
Will be praying for you. Please wear a N95 when you go in public ! I have MS and had chemotherapy un July, so I have been wearing Them since then. Thanks for keeping us Up to date, really hope you feel better soon
thanks for keeping us updated! it would be interesting to hear what you already have tried in terms of supplements, medications and treatments, and what helped and what didnt. detailed info like this can be very valuable to others. personally, i tried over 1000(!) different supplememts (and some meds) myself over the last 20 years, and have extensive knowledge in this area. i might be able to give you some feedback or input about your stack / protocol if you like.
Medical care (even if it's a hyperbaric oxygen chamber) is NOT privilege. Even if most people don't have it. When somebody has a medical need and a treatment exists it's not a privilege no matter how hard to get. To me that's like saying insulin was a privilege in the 1920's because it was only available to a few. I'd be skeptical of calling good health a privilege in the sense that it's not like there are some limited number of ration cards for it out there.
Vlad, your symptoms are driven by a weakening of connective tissue at the upper cervical level (skull). Your autonomic system suffers because cranial nerves such as the vagus nerve are compressed/stretched. I am a sufferer myself, from a course of Cipro. I got better with one supplement used to detoxify mold affected patients called humic fulvic acid (mine was made by a brand called Purium). The reason why Covid exacerbates ME is because this infection causes further degradation of the connective tissue in your body, and your upper cervical is your weakest point.
It's tough. You've got a great attitude. In the same situation. I had COVID last Dec. My metrics still haven't returned to past levels. Only now seeing a slight change. Can I ask. Have you been on a saline drip. Did you find your condition improved? Thanks.
I caught COVID-19, in already in post-COVID time, because since 2020 I have been taking 2000 IU of vitamin D, and my sickness period has been very mild. No cough, just two days of higher fever, (I was vaccinated 3 times). Actually after 10 days staying at home, I went straight to cycling, and I felt much better than prior to COVID...
Vlad, the worst thing to have when encountering a health issue is hypochondria. The second worst thing is quack doctors. Chronic fatigue is as a result of iodine deficiency. It takes three months of supplementing once a week for some notable improvements to take place, then an additional three months of what ever seems to be tolerable. There is a way out. A simple start can be made with iodized half salt., used in cooking and seasoning food. Avoid vitamin D in the attempt to rectify chronic fatigue. It’s hypothyroidism.
@ I’m trying to help. A mineral deficiency can be as a result of having had a virus. It will last as long as nothing is done to alleviate hypothyroidism.
