    Vlad, I'm sorry you're having a rough time, but I want you to know you're an absolute inspiration! Not just because of your willingness to document your illness and communicate the journey to us (which in itself goes a long way for similarly suffering folks) but also because of the thoughtfulness, charity, and insight you bring to every conversation. Due to some similar symptoms, I've been struggling to finish the curriculum for my first college-level teaching position, but you give me some well-needed motivation to keep going. Thanks for your candor and everything you do, and please take care of yourself as best you can!

    Thanks for the videos Vlad. I'm sorry you're suffering so much from multiple health issues. I suffered from ME for several years and I remember how totally debilitating it was. There is no magic cure but it is possible to recover. Listen to your body and rest when it tells you to rest. You're doing a great job with the videos. I hope you start feeling better very soon. Thank you for letting us into to your physical feelings and symptoms, and I’m so sorry to hear how much you’re struggling. It’s hard for viewers to realize what you’re going through because of how calm, collected and warm you are in your videos, so it’s really enlightening to see a video like this where you describe the physical symptoms you’re going through. Sending you warmth and love in these rocky waters.

    Yes, much love to you. I know several persons with perhaps “mild” ME who are now disabled with COVID/ME who struggle to be taken seriously by family or medical community. One in particular has been able to get on disability, however. And lives on a shoestring WITH a room mate.
    Your condition is far worse. To an extent your situation is the worst I have heard of, with the possible exception of Science Girl. I remember early on a lot of, should I call this stage 1 or primary infection COVID patient, had these heart problems, I guess coagulation events. (I had a silent heart attack some years ago, so I can guess some of the obvious medications, which obviously haven’t sufficed then or now).
    I feel for you; with the fine, cutting edge medical help, still being left with few or no options. I see from a recent Science Girl update that she has undergone two procedures that seem to help with some of her symptoms, which may be a glorious thing for her. But surely medical persons supervising your care are well aware of these options. First off, how to help your blood chemistry, heart problems?
    I feel so for you. You seem so humane; and you contribute so much to our lives and our ability to cope with a world that seems to be falling apart. It makes me want to cry to see such a person suffer so.
    Good luck, Vlad.

    Medical care (even if it's a hyperbaric oxygen chamber) is NOT privilege. Even if most people don't have it.
    When somebody has a medical need and a treatment exists it's not a privilege no matter how hard to get. To me that's like saying insulin was a privilege in the 1920's because it was only available to a few.
    I'd be skeptical of calling good health a privilege in the sense that it's not like there are some limited number of ration cards for it out there.

  • @ridleyramos7657
    @ridleyramos7657 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Vlad, your symptoms are driven by a weakening of connective tissue at the upper cervical level (skull). Your autonomic system suffers because cranial nerves such as the vagus nerve are compressed/stretched. I am a sufferer myself, from a course of Cipro. I got better with one supplement used to detoxify mold affected patients called humic fulvic acid (mine was made by a brand called Purium).
    The reason why Covid exacerbates ME is because this infection causes further degradation of the connective tissue in your body, and your upper cervical is your weakest point.

    Vlad, the worst thing to have when encountering a health issue is hypochondria. The second worst thing is quack doctors.
    Chronic fatigue is as a result of iodine deficiency. It takes three months of supplementing once a week for some notable improvements to take place, then an additional three months of what ever seems to be tolerable.
    There is a way out. A simple start can be made with iodized half salt., used in cooking and seasoning food.
    Avoid vitamin D in the attempt to rectify chronic fatigue. It’s hypothyroidism.
