Ive had ME for 22 years. Everything that you are saying I go though. This disease is so hard to negotiate. The fact that you are able to STILL help us to understand the quagmire of the political sphere is amazing. You are very much appreciated. The reaction to medications is real.. After taking 6 Covid Vaccines I no longer can tolerate that, either.

I get it Vlad. As a disabled veteran who has learned to embrace and manage my disabilities, I appear to most people as a strong and active man, who is stronger and more active than most. Those people don't see the rare days that I have had to crawl on my hands and knees to get to the bathroom, and would likely be very surprised to know that about me. Those days really freak my wife out by the way...lol.
There's nothing that I can say that would make you feel better...but you are in my thoughts anyway.

As a fellow chronic illness companion your description of visiting from another world resonates completely. Good mental health is a powerful bastion in these circumstances. It makes it possible to engage well in the moments we can and not have them sucked down into the vortex of suffering through fear or the need to express or offload on another. For me, not being afraid of pain, being able to assess it objectively and manage it as effectively and logically as possible helps me a great deal.

I think you are doing a great service to the many others who live with chronic illness... by sharing a window into your world of living with chronic illness.
I urge all your subscribers to really take it onboard... We each may know someone living with chronic illness, not to the extend of yours, but who have to make extreme effort when they engage with us in the outside world and the people they want to be out there with for a time.. and to be conscious of that for them and make it possible if they need your help or compromise of activity or time for them to be able to do so..

A while ago I was asked if/what I do for work besides raising two kids by someone from my ME Twitter bubble. I felt so hurt that she didn’t know my reality.
But it happens to me too. I visit from this other planet for an hour and generalize the things I see.

    • @ruthherring5684

@@ruthherring5684 Hello to your planet. I hope it’s not too bad over there.

I was just so baffled that for two years she imagined me returning home after work every day before I go on Twitter, when in reality I usually can’t sit up for more than 15 minutes without repercussions. Now I laugh about it.
Thank you. It’s irresponsible to have children when you have more than mild ME, but I didn’t choose it. I know the pain of many who wish to become parents, but can’t because of this **** illness.
      Sending ❤.

    @markweymouth3638 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Vlad, I can't help but admire your mental strength and courage. Your comment about "visiting us from another world" I totally understand and relate to. For with chronic illnesses, chronic pain, mental health issues or other disabilities those brief periods of interaction, 'on the beach, are what most people see. Thus, people may make unrealistic interpretations about the capacity or quality of life that individual has based upon this brief interlude from their "impaired and undesired social withdrawal" not realising beyond this 'bright period' things are considerably more difficult. Thank you for your insight and appraisal of 'social events, tendencies and trends' and belief in freedom, free will and ability to express opinions despite authoritarian civil tendencies. I pray that you regain a greater level of functionality and greatly diminished pain.

We are sending warm feelings of support and caring, friend Vlad. Your diary of the symptoms you experience is valuable in its own right. As is your typical approach to explanations, you are profuse in your philosophical elaborations. This is difficult for you, yet you are precise and deliberate in your insistance on this documentation. Other people with ME, and also health professionals, can benefit from watching this update. It helps others understand. And you so badly want them to understand. Your compassion is palpable. Those of us who have experience in the multifarious effects that neurological illnesses can have upon behavior and interpersonal interactions can recognize how remarkable your reaction to all of this is. Rather than rage against an unjust fate, there is careful probity and self-reflection. I am, as a physician, sometimes in awe of this ability of yours. You are an amazing human being. Stay beautiful. 🌻

I wish so much that all these things would lift from you. I can be quite a depressive person and have been stuck in a bit of a rut of thinking since maybe 2018, but I identify coming across your channel as being part of a turning point, with some of the ideas you've communicated being a real catalyst to the improvement of my own mental health and starting to enjoy life again. The idea of dancing with life really clicked for me in a world of algorithmically driven advice about muscling new habits into yourself, strongarming your brain chemistry etc. - you once said, of JP, "this might get you into the right gear" to which I like to apend something like "but it's not great in the end if the steering wheel is jammed". Anyway you've helped me a lot and though I get the sense you'd be wary of getting into focused content on it, I'd love to hear how you manage your mental health. ❤.

I once was healed by a light energy entering my abdomen as if it was like a blast from a firehouse coming from a dimension that opened in front of me. As I lay in the hospital recovering from a stroke at age 30, the light entered my body and it seemed to go throughout my body and into my finger tips. I remember looking at my hands to see what was happening to me. I do not know how this healing light energy came to me. I am not religious but am spiritual and I suppose it came from the prayers and well wishes of others. I am wishing for some healing light energy to come to you.

As a fellow long term sufferer from ME, I empathise with you: you do seem to have been going through the mill with it lately, whereas, fortunately for me, I've been going through a relatively extended period of remission. Your obvious suffering not only reminds me of my early days, but also makes me feel remarkably grateful for NOT being in your position now! Unfortunately Ive seen what 'very severe' means for my sister. So I wouldn't say that much. As dreadful as it is now he still can think, talk and stand light for several minutes among other things... what's so brutal about ME is that it can put you through states akin to the very last stage of incurable cancer, organ failure, etc and do it for decades, without killing you! that is unless you push or fool around with uninformed doctors, then it cam actually kill you.

    Vlad, sending you healing thoughts!!
Your health situation - makes me dump and unable to really understand what you are going through.
I just think to myself that it must energized you a lot to practice the way of thinking you do. Walking in and out of perspectives on your illness. How you feel it from inside, and how you distance yourself by looking at your health situation from outside in a fact checking position.
    Sending love and consern🤗😍

So basically what happens is Vlad living normally in conditions very similar to hell sometimes comes to visit us to cheer us up, give energy, hope and just his nice calming presence before returning to his unpleasant space. This is incredible. Vlad all the best, see you soon and lots of love

Vlad, I'm suffering from old age and poverty. The depression that comes with them is sometimes almost more than I can bear. When I was your age, I enjoyed good health; being poor did not matter. If I had then gone through what you are going through, I don't think I would have made it to where I am now. I would call you brave, but the only choice you have is to be courageous or to succumb to the illness. However, your overt attitude is distinctly admirable. Of course, we don't know your private experience, but perhaps you are as courageous when you are alone as you are with us. I do know this. We who follow you on TH-cam share a concern and compassion for you, and wish we could do more to help alleviate your suffering. If wishes are thoughts and thoughts are energy, then I know that many of us are sending all the energy we can through our thoughts; thoughts of goodwill and wellness. Be well, my friend, be well. 💖

There is nothing that I can do to mitigate your illness nor the suffering it imposes on you. For that, I am sorry. All I can do, is to tell you that my thoughts and prayers are with you. And, that I sincerely appreciate your dedication to your viewership. Your personal insights into Russia as a whole, and it's ongoing war with Ukraine, provide the public with an important perspective into a complicated piece of world history in the making. Thank you. I wish you peace❤
