When I was young I had wax buildup problems and general ear problems. My Dr used this same tech nique to remove the wax. Some times it tickled really bad when he would touch the tiny hairs, it was all I could do to sit still. Cheers. 😊
I go deaf about twice a year from earwax buildup. They just spray water in my ears after giving me some wax softening ear drops. It's pretty nasty everytime lol.
lol, I've def seen some crazy things come out of ears. Don't worry, its normal and you're not alone. Ill post soon a video on how to make your own irrigation material to irrigate your ears!
i got tinitus but with the pills and otoriniralingorogist it s good after 10 days
I get mine micro suctioned, so much easier!
@@blossomalchemy Is this available in the US yet?
I had a terrible experience with Water Irrigation to remove impacted ear wax...I got side effects afterwards of Nystagmus, Dizziness Vertigo, Ear Pain Ache... would not do water irrigation again..!!!!
My ears don’t drain properly so I have to see an ENT every 4-6 months and he does this lol. It’s crazy sometimes how much more I can hear when he’s done.
Try a heating pad!
Turn it on, let it warm up. Put a paper towel down. Then your head. The wax will heat up, melt and drop onto the paper towel. It feels weird but it works!!
@@falling4mEnever thought about that before! Great tip! I will definitely try that.
Thank you! I have an appt today and was looking for what to expect and only saw videos with “graphic content” warnings and the patients looking horrified and scared! This video was very assuring and calming instead. Thank you
Seeing that instrument gave me flash backs of being a kid in the 80s when the ENT would poke around my ears with one. It hurt like hell. I can't believe you guys still use them all these years later.
My ent sucks it out with an ear vacuum cleaner. It hurts.
If it works, you stick with it!!
Hey man can you tells me if that vaccum hurts the ear if the war wax is too inside?@@CynM.
Yes I had an earache for several days after my last cleaning (water sprayed then scrapping) hurt like heck
@@marymmca1277 hey i am getting my ear cleaned tomorrow can you tell me for how many days does it hurt?
And does it hurt too much?
Least you aint dumping a bucket of water into someones ear and calling it "Traditional chinese wax removal"
Word bro I hate those videos
@@muf6779 same
when i was a kid a nurse at the doc office used a bug plastic syringe filled with warm water and blasted my shit. it worked but i would lf much preferred what was done in the video.
@@draagonteeththat's ear syringing. We still use them in my area.
Ideally, Normal saline is the standard liquid for ear syringing, but tepid (warm) clean water is the cheaper option.
OH MY GOD ITS A W PEAK COMMENT
The way she jumped at the end looks like that hurt!
no it actually feels tickling when you ask a doctor to clean your ear
Requires a good deal of experience to pull this off. Bravo!
thank you!!
Well, it's exactly the same motion as doing it with a cotton swap, but with better visibility .
Oh my gosh - thank you for posting this! She must feel so much better. Dr. can you get numbing drops before hand so that it’s not so ticklish/uncomfortable? my daughter needs to have hers cleaned by the ENT. American here. 😃
That must have felt awesome such a relief.
When I was little our Family Physician as they were called handled it all unless there was a problem, I had 3 brother's and we were very close in age. He was such a wonderful Dr., and man and friend to my family, so he took lots of time with us, and explained everything. So, this is how he would check our ears. I actually liked it. Lol. By the time we got home, we could check everything on all the baby dolls, pets and neighbors. Lol But they just don't have wonderful Dr's, like that anymore, he was our Dr., until he passed away. Bless his wonderful soul!!❤
Professional Audiologists armed with microsuction and a variety of instruments with extreme education often will provide a better service.
I have to clean my husband's ears about every other month. LOL This would have helped me when I came back from my deployment- 9 months worth of gunk. Lol
😂 Haha, thank you for your service.
That must of felt so good
only costs 1000$

Facts
no ts hurts
I call it eargasims.
Talk about a satisfying eargasim.
This is a good video. Both of my ears are blocked and I can only hear a little bit. This is really getting annoying and I really need to see an ENT doctor soon after I have been given out a referral note.
If they sold an effective ear suction kit over the counter
the wait list for doctors /ENT would likely be shorter 😉
Imagine how much time you could save avoiding booking a doctor appoint and then an ENT appoint 😅
I am in the US. I wish we had someone here that uses micro suction like they have in the UK..Still your method is much better than flushing out the ears with water.
Im an ent in the UK. Of course ent in the US will have microsuction. Surely?
@creativesource3514 yes birth daughters had microsecond used. One got it frequently as her tube's didn't stop infection and the nasty had to be sticked out for him to see. The other put a bead in her ear. Edit to add the one time a doc used a tool, the ear canal bled.
People have said microsuction can be loud and potentially lead to tinnitus and/or hearing damage.
There are ent doctors who use micro suction in the USA. They help me a lot and it does not hurt.
@@mattlm64 👀 that doesn't sound good
I wondered how my pediatrician did it when I was a kid! I remembered them using an audio scope and what looked like a tiny crochet hook
So relaxing to watch. I can feel it
More vids like this plz
Is there no sound because she was screaming?
I had no idea. I thought you were on vacation. Glad you're okay. ❤
Why haven't we adopted the UK's method of wax removal using a small suction device attached to an otoscope?
fr once as a kid i has build up and the doc asked if i wanted a light saber or butterfly and i thought she was gonna give me a light up but she really just had a cute looking stick poked around in my ear 💀
@@Nathaniel2U that's awesome hopefully this procedure will be more widely available, I'm from Wisconsin
The ENT doctors and surgeons have the Microsuctions in South Africa.
I keep having ear aches on the left side, no doctor or ent has helped me.They keep telling me my ears are clean and there is nothing wrong. I have to live on pain killers to stop the pain.
So Sorry you in pain❤...Maybe the Dentist or Maxillofacial Doctor can detect if its a jaw or bone issue 🙏🏼Feel Better!
Yes, it could be a dental problem or TMJ. Have you ever been in a car accident?? It could be an alignment problem, grinding or it could be an infection. Just mention it to your dentist. I do hope you can find out what is causing your problem so you can feel better. 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing
ENT does not want to do this. He told me to use drops for 2 weeks in the meantime I cant hear.
What should I do??? I know I have extremely curved ear canals, every time I have dizziness or the feeling of being underwater they tell me I’m fine … I know I’m not then I’m reduced to home remedies..
Informative. Thank you.
First time my ent did this I was sooo embarrassed. Those qtips just push the dirt and wax in deeper. It doesn’t hurt if they do it right.
Yes, Frank was disbarred and lost attorney's license a couple of years ago and they highlighted it after one of seasons was over..
What is the instrument called
I know they're bad for you but I use Q-Tips. I had my ears cleaned in the local emergency room once and they used water. The problem was after they used water, I had the worst ear infection I think i may have ever had. It sucked not being able to hear right around Christmas. The problem now is I never get anything on the qtips though I clean my ears pretty much every day. Is there something I can use to actually clean my ears that won't risk the infection? I've tried Water and Peroxide but that doesn't always work. The insides of my ears sometimes itch and that drives me nuts.
These have been proved as a hoax but have you ever tried those ear candles? They may provide you with some relief, but if nothing else they’re supposed to be pretty relaxing :-)
@@abbywylie4443ear candles are trash. And a burn hazard.
@@abbywylie4443 no never use ear candles, worst advice ever.
You can use olive oil and wash it out in the shower and use a blow dryer to dry your ears.
Watch the wax removal videos on TH-cam. You'll see what using quips does.
What was the name of the instrument that you used to remove the wax??
That was probably a Jobson horne. Not something you should go sticking in your ear at home. Theres a reason many ENT's use irrigation when at all possible.
@@GamerLoggosnot anymore they don't.
Where is your office?
Mam same process is did Doctor . BUT after that i suffered by bleeding . My brain was confuse ....I discuss with doctor they insert the cotton in ear and told me to remove this cotton after 15 to 20 minutes. After one and half hour i remove . I insert my little finger . And find blood again . I discuss with doctor again ..and doctor again said there no issue . This will be ok after some time ......
Mam my brain not comfortable as earlier .
What should I do ? Is this ok or not ?
Where is your clinic Dra ?
My left ear has suddenly become blocked and its not opening(no hearing loss though just feeling of fullness) there is no pain or discharge either and its completely dry as well. I cant understand how this suddenly happened. Can you give tips on how to open my ear?
You might want to see an ENT for what sounds like your eustachian tube.
did it opened??
Is it now Normal ?🌼🌻🌺
I also prefare going to an ENT specialist
OMG that's a humongous amount of Wax I've never thought possibly in an ear. She must have been deaf in that ear.
Heck, put in earwax removal in TH-cam. OMG, sometimes it looks like a piece of petrified wood it's so hard in there.
You're good 💯
I feel relieved when the doctor got a lot of wax 😂
Lol i just got mine out today it was some micro machine sounds like vacuum when doc was taking mine out got huge relief
My child has severe wax build up and is in pain and failed hearing test but totally freaked out when his pediatrician tried to flush it out. Apt with ent coming up, any chance they'll put him to sleep to do this? There's no way he's going to let them do this
Unlikely. You can try debrox drops to help dissolve the wax so it comes out on their own. Also a mixture of vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol (equal parts) can do the same. Both must be used continually (every other day at least),
Is it normal to feel sharp pain when you have earwax removed by a professional? And then have bleeding from a cut on the ear canal? Does this have a long lasting impact to hearing sensitivity, or ear ringing which I experience now?
As someone who has had ear wax removed twice by two different ENT doctors I would say that while neither procedure was particularly comfortable it shouldn't feel sharp nor should you be bleeding. You need to get back to whoever did your wax removal and see what's going on in your ear before you get an ear infection or worse.
Mine had his assistant use a water pick and flushed out a plug of wax that I found hard to believe came out of my ear 👂🏼 😮
Is that the normal amount of wax? Does this mean I should get my wax removed?
I'm being serious.
I personally will lay my head down on a heating pad with a paper towel between us. When ir heats up it will melt the wax and drip on the towel. ..
Did not let us see the result of the esresx probe longer than 3 eye blinks.
The ENT blew air in my ear and got it out in a few seconds. Didn't hurt but had vertigo for about 15-20 seconds
This thang hurts I cried in that chair
How do you know if you need that?
How I wish I could find an ENT to have my ear be cleaned.
Should we be doing this?
wow very professional
Please, when I was young, I broke the tip of a pen in my ear and did not tell my parents. Now I am suffering from pain. Is there a solution? Knowing that I went to a doctor and they did not see the pen in my ear, where did it enter?
It probably has fallen,or went behind your ear
Did you get deaf? If not, then most probably it fell and the pain must've come from other factors
thats me with no medical knowledge
This as good product ❤
I missed my calling 😢
My ent doctor put dulcolax in my ear, waited 15 minutes and the wax literally slid out
Do you mean debrox? Debrox is an ear wax softener. Dulcolax is a laxative for constipation. Wrong bodily function to be softened, and wrong orifice to have it come out of 😂
Ameh is really the weapon fashioned against herself, chai!
It’s 6am and I’m crying right now. I’m in so much distress I haven’t been able to sleep.
I need this
I get fluid blockage in my INNER ears. Its absolutley awful and lasts weeks to months. Literally NO movement of the eardrum whatsoever. The pressure is terrible, and my heartbeat and voice are relentlessly loud. I have always had issues with my ears. Alot of itching way down the ear canal. Whenvi was young, i used to put all kinds of things in my ears. Straight pins to scratch. Beads from a necklace. Even a tooth. Tooth fairy didnt vome soon enough i guess. When they removed that tooth, it felt AMAZING. I now am a weirdo who watches wax removal videos tryin to recapture that feeling. I would LOVE to have a wax issue. Easy fix, and feels good. So far, ive had no luck with my ear issues...
Looks like you might need 'help with your ISSUES!!!!
That was quick 😅
My ent used a suction machine.
😮 as long as I don't see what you use, I'm good.
my doctor used that thing on me at my last visit and it felt like she was scraping my brain LMFAO
Muito boa, sem dor
How do you feel about all the impacted ear wax videos?
That girl with the burgundy twist in the audience is absolutely stunning. Wow 🥰
Eu fiz qdo criança, e depois parei de produzir muita cera, sem explicação. Mas na epoca q fiz, sentia muita tontura e parecia q tinha um papel amassando dentro do meu ouvido. Ouço muito bem,ate o q não deve.kkkk
I have tinnitus about a week ago I went to get my ears cleaned unfortunately the nurse pushed my earwax in more (I got it cleaned with water) well after that my ear started ringing super loud way more then usual (my tinnitus is usually super low) well I went to the hospital to try and get it cleaned out and they told me I had impacted earwax and they couldn’t do much since they didn’t have the tools I have an appointment with my ent in 2 weeks but I’m so scared that I’ll have permanent hearing loss and that my tinnitus will stay this loud , How long is it to long to remove impacted earwax? Right now my ears feel fine expect for the horrible ringing and also I can’t blow air into my ear if my ear has had impacted earwax for 3 weeks is that to much ? 💔
2 weeks isn't that long, it's unlikely any permanent damage will occur. People have had impacted earwax for ages without even realizing it.
So sorry to hear this. I am glad you are seeing an ENT so they can fully assess why you are having tinnitus. As best you can, try not to focus on it. The wax will be ok til you see them. Hope you feel better soon!!!
pls can anyone tell me if i can do the epley manuever if i dont have vertigo becuz iam not sure if i can i wanted to do it because i keep thinking if the crystals are on place or not pls it is a request
Carl thought he was going to live off Lindsey. He was definitely using her
My ENT uses tools, but because I have microtia on my left side. That scoop would hurt like a biscuit.
Gloves?
what fine instruments name?
Here I am using an otoscope (but can also use a microscope) and a Day Ear Hook (90 degree, blunt tip)

I am in Houston, Texas. If not in your area, I would suggest looking for a pediatric ENT near you. www.mdondelivery.com is my website
i'm named Cañadas too!
Noooo, eso duele !!!
Interesting seeing a Doctor without Gloves 🧤 on..
Yeah my ent did this with my head back cause I had small sand shells lodged deep in my ear from surfing. Huge help, wish I had the ability to do it myself honestly. Works better than Qtips
On 0:37 she twitches due to pain i believe. Bottom right you see he neck nerves twitch lol
Why did she stress "ENT"? Was she throwing shade to another group of medical professionals? 😂 It came off like she always saying ENTs are better than whoever else she was talking about previously.
Audiologists?
Is this process hurts patient???
Depends on the patient, for some it is not a big deal, others are more sensitive. But yes, can be uncomfortable to some.
I had it done many years ago and it felt like a toothpick was in my ear. They doctor told me not to move or they can bust my eardrum and then all of a sudden there was a sharp pain. I jumped and thank got it didn't bust my ear drum. It's satisfying to watch these videos and clearly they are better than the person that did my ear.

I scrape my ears out every single day
I have had wax removed from my ear, I'd guess maybe 8 times since 2000, all but the last time it was able to be done with a power or manual water syringe, until now, the spraybottle with the trigger and catheter just doesn't have enough force.
