@@johnwatson2887y'all are honestly the worse kinds of humans. Go to the Ukraine front line please and hopefully stay there.
Actual professional here.
For a kid, great job.
If I were to do this tomorrow at work I’d have a huge lawsuit, he used the top teeth as a fulcrum, and the laryngoscope would have broken all of them. He let go of the bougie, meaning he can no longer know for sure he still is in the cords. He attached a bvm without confirming endtidal or lung sounds, and his bagging was aggressive and hyperventilating the patient, which would likely cause barotrauma.
Good job kid. You got a start, just refine your skills and you’ll be a paragod.
Edit: he also forgot to inflate the balloon. That’s kinda important
To the average person it sounds like your making stuff up 😂
Like they are boasting about it how fast he do it, yes kinda impressive for a child to do so, however, still doesnt look right 😂
I mean as a EMT we just used Igels see to work most the time medics need to measure
@@unis_aaliyahmaybe it doesn't look the best (I def have no clue) that's not the point. The point is that this 12 year old is already excited about a future career, so much that he's _already_ training, and will be 6 years ahead of his future peers. They are encouraging him.
@@gingerleamcwow435the point is that if you encourage this without giving him corrections then you have prioritized the ego of someone responsible for someone’s LIFE. There is absolutely no issue with this comment. Kids need encouragement AND correction. They literally clarified at the start that it was great for a kid. But they made it clear that he needs to be given those corrections as well. I mean seriously right now, do you want your doctor to be QUALIFIED or coddled? It’s not an easy field, you’re literally in charge of other peoples lives. If the 12 year old can’t handle tips on how to do it better then they won’t make it into the medical field, so maybe it’s time to realize the world can’t be as sensitive and coddling as you want it to be. The commentor is literally just pointing out that while he’s got skill, he has skill for someone at age 12. It needs to be modified, because what we currently call skill will turn into a malpractice suit if it stays exactly the same. Is it getting into your head at all? You can encourage and correct someone without the experience being negative. Also, I’m sure the kid isn’t reading every single comment. This comment is directed more towards the people who are watching him and teaching him.

Same thing with CPR, the patient isn't guaranteed to walk away from that with an unbroken rib cage
Edit: Just came out of my first aid class, I was informed that it is not actually bones breaking or cracking it's actually a cartilage section that connects the cage to the sternum.
It's just like if you crack your knuckles.

Whicj would inevitably i imagine: HURT LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER
but ud most likely live so. Immediate triage stuff like thats important.
At least for intubating. Your usually prolly unconscious or having so many other myriad of an issue or issues. U hardly notice the intubating. If ur even conscious in the first place.
So it has tht leg up compared to wound packing where u coulr still very much be conscious and have no pain medication
Plus dont they usually medicate intubated people until the tube is out unless necessary? Because even if u know its necessary logically. And tht ur breathing. Its so uncomfy tht you on instinct try to pull it out or cough or etc.
