My Sleeper PC Custom Build!

I'm in the middle building a sleeper myself...but am facing a lot of challenges.
Tip of the iceberg of challenges...I'm using a Dell 630i case, and the first hurdle to overcome, is that the motherboard (not BTX, but actually ATX board) sits upside down in the case. Which means my beautiful Asus B-550 ProArt MOBO will sit in there upsidedown.
The second challenge was cooling for my CPU (AMD 5950X), but I may have solved this also. I currently have an EK 360 AIO, but with the case I am using I won't have room (due to the PSU placement at the top rear and I have a 1200 watt Corsair PSU), nor will it be efficient as there is nowhere to exhaust the radiator, so I have opted to go with the highly Steve from Gamer's Nexus recommend Scythe Fuma 2.
The third challenge and the one that still has me scratching my head a bit...I have a 3090ti FE and this has 2 issues plaguing me.
    1. I worry the depth of the case may not accommodate the card once mounted to the board, in terms of clearance for the 16 pin connector (I am using an after market extension 1 into 3 cables). This means mounting it onto the board may be out of the question as once I put the side panel on, it would barely clear if possibly not at all.
    2. I absolutely love the look of the FE cards, and can't bear the thought of having to mount it upside down (as the MOBO is upside down as I previously stated). Is it petty of me to not want the GEFORCE RTX logo to be glowing back at me upside down?
I am.considering standing the card upright on its end (similar to what the upright position is on the Lian Li 011 or the Thermaltake Tower 100,500,900), having the IO at the top of the case, but feeding a longer DP cable out the back of the case. The only issue with standing it up though, is now I have to use a PCIE riser cable and will have that ugly ass big thing covering up a good portion of the board and needing to be kept away from the air cooler.
My intent is to always remove the side panel (which in the case of the Dell 630i is a nice solid thick piece of aluminum ((seriously this case is gorgeous and well built, at least imo))) when I'm actually running the computer, and to drive in additional airflow, I got 2 140mm Noctua fans pulling air in for the front and have a 92mm Noctua fan for the rear to push hot air out coming from the Scythe Fuma 2.
I'm guessing most people would have had the common sense to abandon this project, but I'm so invested at this point, I can't see myself turning away from it, because in my minds eye, this will be a gorgeous PC when it's done, but damn Dell to hell for doing this reverse BS. Oh and if you're asking why I don't take the case apart and flip it all around, because 1 I don't have a lot of tools at my disposal and limited on time as I have a baby to care for and work full-time 😩

I wanted to do this with my family's old eMachine computer, it was a eMachine T6410, and I absolutely loved that case for some reason. I would more than likely need to drill holes into the front for an intake fan though..
    Good job!

Fantastic! I'm also working on a sleeper sff build. It is an hp compaq dc7600 sff case that I'm stuffing modern parts into. Lots of custom work because the case is tiny.

Bro's CPU cooling is put in the wrong way 💀

Actualy that might be intentional. Maybe he is using the rear fan as an intake. Or maybe he had brain fart moment.

Xps720 is a neat older case to do a modern high end build in

bro my pc is sleeper and you think i7 is sleeper 😶‍🌫

I'll give him the i7. However, the GPU isn't really "sleeper." Even when it was new, it wasn't.

@@googlewolly but in comparison to what was in it before it is a sleeper now

@@lord_rainbowman Well, I guess it depends on what definition of "sleeper" you use. Many would interpret it as having the top-of-the-line components.
