Hi Jeff - I know I’m a little late to this show, however, I have a clunk in my front end as well, especially when braking hard. Mine is a 91 WB. I ran the same check as you and can see about as much play as in yours. I don’t seem to have any lateral movement that I can tell. I do seem to have steering play when going down the road. First question is how did you drive the king pins out? The BGM uses an air hammer to drive his out, did you use the same? Or a dead blow and a heavy punch? Second question, did you have a marked improvement going down the road, and did you get rid of the clunk? Gerry
Excellent,
Great video.
Always learning from your videos.
Only wish I had some assistants to help.
Thanks, yes the little helpers do come in handy. Saves me a lot of getting up and down!
