    In this vlog, I savour a host of interesting dining experiences. From a wonderful meal at renowned Chef Atul Kochhar’s restaurant, Kanishka, where the menu features an amazing repertoire of Indian classics and inspired dishes, to Mercato Mayfair, a vibrant food destination that is housed in a former church. And like everyone does in London at the end of a busy day, we caught the local scene in a British pub.

    In 2019, during our visit to London, I booked a restaurant to surprise my mother on her birthday. The restaurant was exceptional, and my mother even received a signed birthday card from Chef Atul, which was a lovely touch. A special thanks to Nesh and the rest of the staff who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. The Chicken Tikka Pie was an interesting take on a classic dish, while the Grilled Salmon and Trio of Lamb were also delicious.
    When we visited Mercato Market, we were amazed by the two floors and rooftop of the deconsecrated church, which made our experience even more incredible. Thank you, Amigo, for bringing back the memories to us. Take care, stay blessed and happy.
    A lot of love from Canada!

    Good morning dear Kripal - For a change instead of a Motovlog we are going to , virtually, enjoy Foodie Sunday with you . Wow the ambience of Kanishka is elegant and classy 👌 The Beetroot croquet looks super appetising. The chicken Tikka Pie 🥧 is glistening . Would have been a fab combo with the tamarind chutney . In your last Vlog you used a word called reserve which looked like Marmalade . Are they the same . Oh the Chicken Tikka pie is similar to Gordon Ramsay’s Beef Wellington? . All the dishes are so unique , classy and well presented . The Crab 🦀 bonda along with the tangy corn Chaat should be a hit on the palate . Looks like all the dishes are thoughtfully curates . Sea-bass looks to be an elevated take on a South Indian style dish . I love Saag with a Kulcha . The Biryani and anna Mutton curry is a great combo. Not a dessert lover but loved the dishes that was served to you . Thanks for capturing the true essence of London . It transported me when I was there a few years ago . The Italian market / eatery is a must visit including the Bar . Do they also have a classic Neapolitan Pizza 🍕? Coffee in a bar ?? 😀 Excellent vibe indeed . The dish that you had was it similar to a Bap ( I didn’t quite get the name ) Can feel the vibe . Aah now that’s a good Lager to enjoy . London is a truly cosmopolitan city and the best 👌 Wow looking forward to your next Vlog . This was a super wonderful and classy Vlog . Thanks so much for bringing some nostalgic memories . Too good . Have a wonderful Sunday . Take care and God bless . Today we have friends and relatives coming home for a full fledged South Indian meal . Your Vlog was an appetiser 😀 . Loads of love and respect dear Chief 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️

      Hi Rajesh, glad you enjoyed this watch too. yes, the chicken tikka pie at Kanishka was quite special, haven't seen Gordon Ramsay's wellington. is it the classic recipe or an inspired version. The dish at Mercato was a bao. Happy the vlog transported you back to your memories of London.

    • @rajeshramachandran1704

      Dear Kripal - The Chicken Pie is an inspired version of Gordon Ramsay’s classic Beef Wellington . Yes thought that the dish was a Bao but couldn’t hear it clearly . Yes this Vlog was truly nostalgic for me . Happy Sunday Chief !!

    10:34: "Some of the flavors would have been toned down a bit to suit the palates of the local audience"
    This is the problem with most restaurants' serving non-local cuisines, and why they are rarely worth patroninizing.
    The logic of their customers escapes me; if they don't like a true representation of the cuisine, then why go to - in this case - an Indian restaurant at all? Why would a consumer in search of Indian food visit a restaurant whose cuisine is dictated by the (dubious) taste of an ignorant and timid public?

    • @KripalAmannaVlogs
      @KripalAmannaVlogs  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think there is anything wrong in a restaurant fine tuning certain dishes to suit the palate of the locals. Much like how Chinese, Italian or any other cuisine food is served in India.
