It’s not that you were hard on the landscape rake. It’s a flawed design. You need to find one with the solid tube rather than the channel iron style

Not a chance, he was abusing it, you can see he had almost the whole weight of the tractor on that corner. Most tractors you can't put any downward pressure on the hitch at all!
You did not break the weld pulling on the hay. That break was rusty inside the break. That happens over time…
You may have cracked the weld dragging the driveway gravel
The rake bent when he drove over the hay pile and the tractor tipped that way putting all the weight on the left side of the rake
Gathering up the donkeys was like herding cats. Loved Ralph's attacking bales of hay and the tractor. Looked like a day at kiddy daycare.

You should start a compost pile. You have plenty of manure, leaves, and old hay or straw. You can use the compost on your garden and pasture. Get an aerator for the tractor and aerate your pasture and then spread some of the compost. This will greatly enhance the health of your pastures. They will produce a better stand of grass and make them healthier to withstand a drought.

You may consider putting Dolly and R.J. into one of the donkeys stalls and feed her alfalfa hay. It tends to put some weight on. It may be the boost she needs to thicken up a little

I loved this video. Ralph was on one today. Taking on a bale of hay. RJ is growing and so cute. Phoebe just being Phoebe. Didn’t take long for Pepper to make her bed. The girls love their treats. Ralph was so funny head butting the hay roll. All the animals were funny! The Donkeys made an escape when Pepper left the gate open bc DeJay wouldn't do that! Haha. Considering the page for the Pinnacle Series Landscape Rake from Homestead Implements states it's for larger limbs, heavier rock, and compacted terrain there is no reason it should have bent like that just raking a pile of hay. Definitely seems like there was a flaw in manufacturing.

Daniel go watch your vlog from 6.47 to 8 and you can see the first fork is already bent Before you did the hay. Do you think it's possible it happened when you did the gravel stones on the road. If you closely when Ralph is in the front you can also see the left side rung is bent up. Hope you manage to straighten it. 13:38 - Homestead Implements should assist with straightening out (or replacing) the landscape rake -- seems odd that it would bend like that just from moving hay. Perhaps there's a defect in the metal?

I think your rake damage came from the gravel. There was already rust inside that weld break.

Don't kill Ralph
I built an easy composite pile that produces gold which between planting I spread the rich composite on the lawn and garden. I scooped 2 holes about 3 feet deep in one. Use lawn clippings ( neighbors natural lawn contributes) leaves, coffee/tea ,eggs,veg paper towel and sprinkle of Lyme. Turn by scooping out of one hole to another. I do cover each one. In a year I had gold in two I had a 2 pits full of beautiful soil.
Ralph is starting to remind me of little Joe. Little guy with a big personality 😉

Just remember, it's ranching. Equipment gets stressed. Could be metal failure too.
