You may consider putting Dolly and R.J. into one of the donkeys stalls and feed her alfalfa hay. It tends to put some weight on. It may be the boost she needs to thicken up a little
I grew up on a farm. We raised our cattle for meat. They had good lives with us. They went out to pasture everyday and had a clean safe barn to go to every night. You want to see where your supermarket beef comes from, visit a feed lot. As kids we loved them but understood that their destination was our freezer. We appreciated them, treated them with respect and were thankful for their sacrifice.
You should start a compost pile. You have plenty of manure, leaves, and old hay or straw. You can use the compost on your garden and pasture. Get an aerator for the tractor and aerate your pasture and then spread some of the compost. This will greatly enhance the health of your pastures. They will produce a better stand of grass and make them healthier to withstand a drought.

Going to be 49 or 50 degrees in Maine on the 15th. My 51st birthday. And exactly one year to the day getting out of the hospital after getting left leg amputated, Christmas morning.. you videos gave me a smile daily so thank you, and God bless you and your family

I used to have a pony mare that would drop about 100 pounds when she was nursing. She was a good mama but looked like death warmed over when she had a foal on her. She passed away at 30 years of age. We had one of her fillies for over 26 years, lost her to that curly-coat disease, can't recall the name of it. I always enjoy watching feeding time, it brings back so many memories.
I loved this video. Ralph was on one today. Taking on a bale of hay. RJ is growing and so cute. Phoebe just being Phoebe. Didn’t take long for Pepper to make her bed. The girls love their treats. When is that mama donkey going to have her baby. Looks like she is going pop. I guess it will come when it’s the perfect time. Love to all❤️
Daniel, if you have a acetylene torch a welder machine you can fix it. Heat up the weld to about a 1/2" to where it's glowing and use either two pipe wrenches or two large adjustable wrenches at the end and twist back to shape. While it's still hot, reweld the weld. You may want to weld a piece from the rake bar yo the main frame to prevent it from twisting again. That was pretty cool seeing the donkey's running loose as if were the best day of their lives. All it takes to get them back is the temptation of food or treats.

Anytime we had a nursing Mom we always supplemented their diets with richer food and fed them more often. We had a nursing cat we nearly lost because her weight loss was significant

If you closely when Ralph is in the front you can also see the left side rung is bent up. Hope you manage to straighten it. I built an easy composite pile that produces gold which between planting I spread the rich composite on the lawn and garden. I scooped 2 holes about 3 feet deep in one. Use lawn clippings ( neighbors natural lawn contributes) leaves, coffee/tea ,eggs,veg paper towel and sprinkle of Lyme. Turn by scooping out of one hole to another. I do cover each one. In a year I had gold in two I had a 2 pits full of beautiful soil.

You may have cracked the weld dragging the driveway gravel
The rake bent when he drove over the hay pile and the tractor tipped that way putting all the weight on the left side of the rake

We get warm days in January, I guess today is a nice day, by Wednesday, it will be cold again. Ralph is so silly, Rj is so handsome, and the donkeys are just so cute.
