Nice that you got some of that done before the rain. Here in the Denver, CO Metro area, it's currently (10-28-2023 at 2:45 AM) 28 degrees. Higher than the predicted high for Sunday(27 degrees). Sunday's low is predicted to be 13 degrees! With 5-8 inches of snow possible between Saturday and Sunday. I am NOT ready for snow!

Did you and Huston ever ger his Deer? I saw the video where the couotees devoured that one. I have searched through your videos , but I never any later hunts.
I am a rancher of a large property in Australia. In this country we use either a dedicated large spreader trailer behind out tractors or a 3 point hitch spreader with a capacity of about 330 Kg or 700 pounds. We spread fertilizer and seed at the same time as the larger fertilizer pellets help to spread the very light grass seed. Most of us just broadcast the seed/fertilizer without drilling. It's important that the grass seed stays in contact with the earth. You might consider letting the animals onto the seeded pastures to trample the seed onto the ground. Most ranchers have perennial grass pastures and dont disc or drill the seeds as it will harm the permanent grass. I tend to only spread annual rye grass in the late fall to provide feed for my cattle at the time of the year that pasture grass is slow growing. I also fertilize a number of times a year to replace the nutrients that the grazing cattle remove from the soil.
Maybe see if ironcraftusa can come up with a stick picker attachment for 3 point tractor connection. Clean up all those pesky sticks in your pastures would make them look great.

I've been really late getting some winter grass planted as we have not had much, if any rain. I was planning on getting it done this past weekend, but got sick. Really glad I didn't. It's raining so hard tonight that all of my seed would have been washed away. This weekend should be good. Ground is now nice and damp and there's a lighter percentage of rain coming up in the next few days.
I got a good lol when the donkey knocked the camera over the first time. 2nd time not so funny cause they didn't mess with it more. The rain is a blessing for all farmers and animals. ❤❤❤

I’m in Alberta, Canada and we had our first snow on Monday/Tuesday. It was about 1/2 inch ice ice then 6 inches of snow. I am so jealous of your rain as we have been super dry all year. Enjoy!

I have to deal with that all the time so I bought one of them 3 ball with a tow hook balls. I got my dad 2 one for his truck and his UTV. His only gripe was it didn't spin to change the ball without pulling the pin.
Daniel I don't know if you've ever seen one but we had a double caster!!! You put the seed in one & the fertilizer in the other & it casted both at the same time!!! It cut our time in half!!! See if you can find a waterproof / plastic cover for the hopper, then you can continue on in the light rains. HAPPY TRAILS!
