He loves those babies and Stephanie is a great Momma to the bottle babies. And their kids are learning so much in the process. A really good family. Good job Daniel!
Pigs really really like milk. My friend in 4-H found out the hard way when he was dumping my other 4-H friend's extra goat milk in for his sales pen of 3 pigs and he fell over the gate and ended up one arm and a bucket in the bin. The pigs through he was trying to scoop it out and tore into him. 183 stitches later, he was never so glad to see three pigs go to market. Be a little careful with Pepper when feeding milk. She looked like she yawned at you Daniel, but that was actually a display of her teeth to keep away from her milk! I hope you do keep trying to pet her and make her realize that you really don't want to hurt her, but just watch it when it comes around "serious food!" like milk.

Watching todays video of goats leaving was interesting in many ways. Changing animals so that others can continue to raise and breed them for their farms is a great way to make changes at your farm. I also saw a way different side of you Daniel today than what I’m used to seeing. Today I saw a man who completely reinvented himself from a career law enforcement person to a full fledge homestead farmer. When we built our house in a forested area, we had just plain dirt , poor clayish soil surrounding us. It turned into a muddy nightmare when it rained. We bought some turf to create a front lawn, but turf is very $$. We got a pony for the kids and built little barn and fenced off an area for them Wherever any alfalfa hay got scattered, beautiful lush alfalfa grass sprouted.up And we put down straw along the pathways and in the driveway to keep the mud down. That first year the dirt front, back, and side yards turned into green grass and as long as we kept it mowed to keep the weeds down, it just kept spreading without any seeding or any more alfalfa, or timothy hay on its own. it covered all bare spots up to the eaves of the woods. It was not perfect, like manicured turf, but it was green. During the years when we had little or no rain, it “burned out” where we could not water it, but it comes back quickly with cooler temps and some rain. I know that country folks know this, but I wanted to share this “tip’ To get almost instant green cover on bare areas, spread out a bale of preferably hay, but straw will work too.because it is the stubble cut after the hay is harvested. and contains seeds. As it breaks down, it fertilises the soil, too. You all in OK were sure hard hit by the drought last year. Hopefully this spring will bring back the rains. for your pastures. 🙏💕
When I was raising one of my grandson’s, we got three Nigerian dwarfs! We trained them to stay within a perimeter which they never left from! We had 6’X6’ stainless steel welded fence panels so built a good size enclosure for them! We built a little shelter and use mats used in horse stalls so made a nice little condo for them! We really loved them and there was just no better entertainment! Sure miss them. Grandson is grown and I miss him all the time. He is a supervisor at a hospital in Anchorage, Alaska! So goat days are over! The goats went to a farm in Palmer just out of Anchorage and the three children who love them now just play all the time with them… so win win situation!

Living in a place like this is heavenly. My sister has a gorgeous farm with a pine forrest on one side and pastures on the other sides, yet they are only 10 minutes from the city. We have an RV parked there and we spend our weekends there. The animals complete the perfect life on that farm. A large river is passing by as well near their farm, so we go swim there, no pool needed. We are very greateful that we have this place. I keep telling her to make youbtube videos, but they are not interested, I think it would be great for them to share this beautiful place with others. Daniel that was very sweet too plant flowers of Bella's grave too remember her. WOW ! The house is all gone. I was really surprised when I saw the new video. To see everything all gone. The land looks amazing.
I love my Helix. I bought my first one a few years ago while looking for a mattress that helped my pain. Since moving into a house I now have 2 and adjustable base as well. I will never buy anything else😊😊😊❤❤❤
I understand Ralph will go to freezer camp, but it's going to be really hard to see him go. He's such a sweet guy and more of a pet than food,we all enjoy seeing him. Once he's gone things won't be the same around the farm. Blessings 🙌
Fencing off an area for a dry lot would be very beneficial for the pasture health. You can keep the animals off the pasture during the winter so it can recover. A dry lot also helps after you receive a lot of rain and the pastures are muddy. You can put the animals in the dry lot while the pastures dry out a bit and grow. This keeps the animals from turning the pasture to mud and stomping out the grass.
You know something funny it was just two days ago that I remembered you guys had that bed and I was wondering how it was doing for you and if it was doing just as well as it did the first day you got it now here you are giving an update it's just so ironic.
It was so much fun to watch you guys catching the 🐐. Next time, the wives need to get in on the catching of the goats. Daniel, since you are home more and your spending more time with the animals it allows you to get close to them. See, even PEPPER has come to trust you just a little.
Might be good idea to soil test your fields my friend, the local college extension office usually does it for like $10 a sample and tell you what you need like pound of nitrogen per 10,000sqft etc or potash, potassium it really helped us
So kool seeing Pepper let you pet her! She is finally warming up to you. Sorry you had to sell so many goats, but glad they all went to a good home, but it does make for a more manageable herd.

While Ralph has been so entertaining , the meals he will provide your family is a huge blessing ! Great video , today .
Thanks for sharing. Blessings. 🙏❤️🇺🇸
Goats are very entertaining and can help revive the spirit. ❤ Daniel you have a loving heart towards all of your animals. That is a very good trait. Sweet pepper. Hi Bear!! ❤
Watching you catch goats is always fun! I’m sure they will have a great new home with Brandon and his family . So happy to see all the animals !
Daniel, you look very slim!! And good!!
Love how you take care of your animals. My family bought some land and we’re building our own little slice of farm heaven. My wife absolutely loves your painted mini’s. If DeeJay ever could let one go, I’d love to have a part of your farm family be part of ours. You are such an inspiration!
The spotted one is stunning 😍
Hi Shirley where are you from?
Glad you are keeping the spotted ones. God Bless 💕💕💕
I'm pretty sure Ralph has more personality but Whopper was a beautiful specimen. I can see how they become more that just livestock when a TH-cam channel and 767K subscribers are involved. Looking forward to seeing the the new ducks when they hatch.
Daniel that was very sweet too plant flowers of Bella's grave too remember her. WOW ! The house is all gone. I was really surprised when I saw the new video. To see everything all gone. The land looks amazing.
I loved seeing the Eddy's at your place, and goat wrangling! lol
That was fun...
God bless!
Hi Sharon where are you from?
I love my Helix. I bought my first one a few years ago while looking for a mattress that helped my pain. Since moving into a house I now have 2 and adjustable base as well. I will never buy anything else😊😊😊❤❤❤
It's lovely here today at 39° which is so not the norm. Goat chasing looks pretty exhausting lolol
Hi Wendy where are you from?
I understand Ralph will go to freezer camp, but it's going to be really hard to see him go. He's such a sweet guy and more of a pet than food,we all enjoy seeing him. Once he's gone things won't be the same around the farm. Blessings 🙌
Awe how sweet Pepper letting u scratch her while she is eating FINALLY 😊😎👍
I heard that BOOM!! Do you know what it was? I just adore your little farm, thanks for being a part of my day!!!
Way to go on Pepper!!!
Way to go Pepper, thanks Daniel for sharing! 👍👍👍💯💯💯🤩🤩🤩☺️☺️☺️
Daniel how come I haven't seen Isaac? He is the king of goats on your ranch!!!
He is in this video.
It was so much fun to watch you guys catching the 🐐. Next time, the wives need to get in on the catching of the goats. Daniel, since you are home more and your spending more time with the animals it allows you to get close to them. See, even PEPPER has come to trust you just a little.
Glad to Brandon get some quality blood line goats
Hi Ed.
Yep difference between day and night
@@yomudd4x443 hey buddy
Might be good idea to soil test your fields my friend, the local college extension office usually does it for like $10 a sample and tell you what you need like pound of nitrogen per 10,000sqft etc or potash, potassium it really helped us
In this case instead of spilt milk it took sour milk to obtain a petting relationship
So kool seeing Pepper let you pet her! She is finally warming up to you. Sorry you had to sell so many goats, but glad they all went to a good home, but it does make for a more manageable herd.
I think is so cute how all the animals eat side by side
Hi Shirley where are you from?
Reba is so pretty. Love the way you are so affectionate to all your animals. It's great to watch. Take care and blessings!
Pepper is my favorite. She was so blessed to end up with your family.
I'm happy to see the Eddy family come on your well established family to help them grow. So fun to watch all of the babies. Still waiting for Fancy to give birth.
The Eddy's are a good family. And they are learning what it takes to run a farm. They'll give the goats the best home they know how to provide. 💖💖💖
That was peppas heart exploding with love for you (well the sour milk) 🤣 have a beautiful spring arm's family

Round up time.🐐.
Looked like Lambert was limping at that time.
Ralph has such big eyes.
I see that duck with the broken wing is doing good.
Pepper is in to that milk.
🙏😊👍🇨🇦
I love it when you show your animals and talk to them ❗️
