We know there are a few parts which are a little rough but this was totally self funded.. We really wanted to give the audience a deep and honest view into my prep. thank you for watching and your comments :)

Amazing story Jon! What a fantastic documentary packed with amazing insights into the bodybuilding scene. I love your real, raw, content, the truth you speak about your own struggles along life's journey and what drives you to continuously be bettering yourself. I appreciate how your physical, emotional, mental, and relationship challenges were all documented and reflected upon. This short film put the audience in your shoes and made me feel like I was going through it with you, and as Jana said at the end, I almost for a second thought I would try something similar one day maybe...maybe. You are the perfect example of what can be accomplished when you set goals for yourself to work towards and stop at nothing to achieve them. Jana, the unconditional support and patience you exude and provide Jon are admirable and contagious. Congrats to you Jon on the victory and thank you to everyone that was involved in this production. It was a pleasure to watch and I would suggest it to ANYONE looking for a bit of light at the end of the tunnel! Watch Part 2 as well! Cheers.

Awesome work mate! As you can see there was a lot more in the tank on all of my "PR" lifts however this really wasn't the purpose of the film.."to see how heavy I could lift". The purpose was to give and unbiased view into a natural show prep and to help people understand what it can take and how to avoid so of the more unhealthy approaches. Thanks for watching and we hope you got more out of the film than what weight I was lifting :)

So glad I watched this documentary and feel as though all considering prep and getting on the stage should! Jon's account is a great honest, realistic and raw viewpoint of the hardships physically and mentally involved that are so often over looked. Yes competing can be glamourous and euphoric once on stage, however many people mis-understand the real sacrifices involved from relationships to mental health. I'd always ask yourself what your reason/motivation is for competing, you can look great without having to do a competiton and in a maintainable manner. Post competition health is a HUGELY underlooked aspect which is great to see jon talk about. His feature on Ben Coombers radio podcast also goes into detail about his journey. Very inspiring and genuine 💪👍

Actually Ronaldo is about skills. Not only that, but talent. Not everyone who puts in the same effort will be the next Ronaldo because they would have to have his talent too. Most people don't. Bodybuilding on the other hand, is not a skill. It's simply dedication. It's not a talent.

If you watch the film you will see the reason why I made this film was because of my concern that you men and woman are led down a path where they believe that the only way to get a physique like this is to take PED's. I used an IIFYM nutrition protocol and trained 6 days and week using a periodized strength and conditioning program that was designed specifically for my body and goals. I didn't take any fat burners, diuretics or cut water to get show ready. Being a strength and conditioning coach of 10 year and an athlete (soccer, swimming) all my life I already had a great base. I was interested till the kettlebell swings on a bosu. As a former hkc instructor, the point of the kettlebell swing is to build a solid base, no can do with a wobbly bosu. Niw a superset if swing and wood choppers on a bosu would have been better. Or what I used to do iron cross into a pistol squat with dumbells(bosu does not move!) I emphasize that!

Hi Pedro. I am certified through ADPF in the UK. Having been through Angie Dowds 4 tear education system which took 4 years of training. I have been using bells now for over a decade and very passionate about teaching people how to use this tool safely and correctly. The training never ends and the "master" cert is merely a representation of the time and dedication to learning and teaching not self appointed. I look to both Pavel Tsatsouline & Stevie Cotter as the true masters and my mentors when it comes to the Kettlebell. While your comments are appreciated and would ask you to do you home work before trolling here. Peace:)

beEtrOotGaiNs vegan I took part in a Fitness Model category not a traditional body building category. That said I was leaner and lighter than I have been since I was in my early 20’s but I did manage to gain around 10lbs of lean muscle in the process. Pretty interesting experience😉 Have a great day 👌

Basically lol this is why I’d never join this because it’s not healthy like you should train for your body to grow not make your body weaker so you look good or do a bunch of cardio lol like anyone can loose weight and be great at cardio but how many can build thier body and stay lean (not skinny) but I would be terrified if I had to loose weight I’m the same height and I’m lean as him at 220 but a competition tells me I need to be 180 or 190 that’s just not healthy for me because I already have abs at 220 but because of my height smh I see why this sport getta slack cause it’s not appealing it’s almost sad lol but the guy in the documentary you can tell he is going to bulk back up and get back to his normal self because he look way better before the show lol
