This is great. Just finished reading "Health and Beauty Mastery" - what an eye-opener! This book exposes so many hidden truths about the beauty and health industry that no one talks about!
This routine is a brilliant example of how balance in fitness, nutrition, and recovery can lead to long-term health benefits without over-complicating things.
I like Huberman, but we’ve reached a point of complete paralysis by analysis. Infinite “optimization” and “morning routines” and “nighttime routines”. Optimal…optimal….optimal…
Just about everyone here is missing the point. You don't have to do everything Huberman does, but you can pick up a thing or two that works for you. For me, cold showers are a no. But i can delay my coffee 90 minutes and i feel better because of it. See, simple. We learn from others and take what works for us. Knowledge buffet.
That double inhale exhale is something been doing it for a week now. I've always hard a hard time getting my brain to shut off before bed I'd just been wondering or on my phone, and the last 3 days of sleep was just magical, well rested
Andrew's workout routine, and specifically the relatively short overall training time per week is illuminating. Finally, someone whose routine doesn't take 6 hours every day, which is impossible for normal people to maintain. Most people who work, cook for themselves, do laundry and all the other tasks themselves, simply don't have the amount of time to train like the likes of Goggins, or other celebrities who have private cooks and other people to do their chores for them.
I don't think anyone has recommended any of those training regiments? The recommendation has always been try to workout 4-5 times a week, 45-60 minutes is perfectly fine. And switch it up with the different cardio zones. Commuting to work on bike already takes care of a lot of exercise. Then it's just going to the gym regularly and getting some high intensity in there and you're something like 90% there to utter bodily perfection. Where are you getting the "6 hours every day" from? Certainly not from this channel, or hubermans. You've been listening to the wrong hosts :).

These questions are form anyone who well know Bpc-157! How long can the arginate form of this capsule sit in its bottle before it loses its potency? I only ask because I'm currently taking an acetate form of it but want to purchase an arginate form capsule because it's on sale. I have 56 days left of the acetate, then will take a 2 month break and then start the arginate form to see if there is any difference. It's primarily for gut issues(possible IBS-undiagnosed) but mainly for left distal bicep tendonitis from working out too hard and too long without deloading 2. Do you take bpc 157 arginate with or without food for best absorption? 3. What's the difference between acetate and arginate salt form of bpc 157?(what's better?) And 4. do you HAVE to pair it with TD500 for best results or is it just as good on its own? Thank you
My god that all sounds like absolute overkill. I think a certain type of person really craves finding new ways to overthink things. I take a B12 supplement, eat lots of plants, and do a variety of exercises I can stick to 4-6x/wk. For me it's 1-2 longer runs and 3-5 HIIT sessions each week. Surround myself with good people. Abstain from smoking and alcohol completely and avoid processed foods as much as I can. All my bloodwork is solid. BP 100/55, VO2 Max ~55, age 42. I think this is possible and practical advice for most people my age. Don't overthink it.
Great video! I consume so many videos in the fasting and longevity realm…this video for the applicable active lifestyle summary and philosophy, I will be sharing. Thank you both for your work. I really value it.
Use at your own risk. There's zero evidence that extreme amounts of protein are good for longevity. You probably have more luck following Bryan Johnson. I believe Andrew might be anti-Bryan Johnson.
I am more inclined to listen to someone who is 60+ but looks and feels like a 20-year-old in terms of body composition, energy levels, metabolic efficiency and work out regimens. Being in the 40s and looking like 40 is not a big deal.
I thought he went back on TRT to stay on it permanently? But he’s saying he’s taking Tongkat and Fadogia which he wouldn’t need if he’s on testosterone therapy. Confused.
It's important to create a routine that works for you based on your needs and predispositions. It's good to get cues from scientists and experts but even they are humans and create their routines based on their needs and potential deficiencies.
Interesting to listen to and all that, to hear what someone else is doing I suppose. But all that would do for the majority of people that try to copy these "influencers" and follow their routines is add to the stress, they are trying to escape from when they can't keep it up due to life's distractions (work, bills, kids etc). Keep it simple. Eat what a human is supposed to eat and be as active as you can. Then hopefully you can enjoy and treasure your relationships with family, friends and find work that helps to support that.
Obviously, the effect of most of these things on humans isn't proven, as you said, it be a long time before these people are 80 years old, and if we wait and don't partake, we won't have the advantages from this, or disadvantages. Nevertheless, some people take these supplements based on existing research on rats or other animals, who have a lifespan short enough that we can actually see results in a meaningful timeframe for us. Whether the results will end translating exactly the same is not guaranteed, but uncertainty is a part of life.
@@elinino5275 I don't think anyone was thinking that, no one claims that this straight up stops aging. However if you look at people who are 80 years old, some are still very much active and in good shape, while others may be tied to wheelchair and hooked up to oxygen, I think being the former and not the latter is more the goal here.
Andrew is probably taking 100 mg of zinc sulfate, zinc picolinate, or zinc citrate which contain 23, 20, and 31 grams of zinc, respectively. He makes mistakes like this all the time.
I might be delusional, but, does anyone else notice that lot of people who are doing tons of intense cold therapy start to look old? It’s weird and it doesn’t make sense. For some of the people who are so healthy I don’t understand why they seem to be aging quickly (Huberman, Brand, Rogan, etc). Huberman is only in his 40s, right? He looks more like he’s in his mid-50s. Like a super healthy fit person but still his skin looks like he’s in his mid-50s to me. 🤷♀️
I thought it's because overtraining. But may be that.. TRT, as it often goes on pair for people who train a lot. From what Andrew says, it really does't seem he trains that much. I'm not an expert in training at all, I do wonder, though, he is so well built, would the excercise routine he speaks about maintain so much muscle?
100 mg of zinc? You did not mention taking copper and that multivitamin does not have enough copper in it to off set all that zinc. Are you not worried about being low copper?

Any kind of short periods of stress on your body can be helpful as long as the body has plenty of time to recover and come back stronger from my understanding. Sauna would just be optimizing it because it really zaps you with heat stress and leaves plenty of time for recovery. Working outside every day might get you part way there as long as you are recovering. If you’re outside all day, every day, it might not help if you aren’t taking good care of yourself elsewhere, but generally speaking it should be better for you than being too comfortable everyday.

I was thinning a bit from my temples. I started sunbathing naked for 30min up to an hour between 11am-1pm everyday or most days of the week when the sun is out blasting. My temples started filling in again. Something about sunbathing naked when the genitals exposed triggered some hair regrowth in the temple area. I also eat 6 pasture raised eggs and an avocado everyday among other whole foods. 3+ liters of spring water mixed with some electrolytes daily. Sleep is 7-8 hours. Most importantly though, kill any stress you might have. That thins your hair out real quick.
My hairline improved a bit by following his morning advice because it helped me sleep better. I was focusing too much on my bedtime routine, that I neglected the morning stuff which ultimately helped me sleep better and destress.
For about a year and a half I’ve taken a topical finastride/minoxdil solution. I was thinning considerably at the crown. It worked very well for me and I’ve had zero side effects. The theory is the topical results in less side effects after prolonged use.
This isn't sustainable for a male who works 40+ hours a week in a pretty physical job.. burnout would occur after a few months. I'm a father of 3 young girls, I train weights 3 days a week plus a hike or some cardio. I also do Shakti meditation for recovery. I eat nice and clean but this is hard aswell as food is getting ridiculously expensive. I try and limit my meat intake to 3-4 days a week. I take ashwaganda and cayenne pepper in warm water every morning.
gotta be honest, all you need is sleep (if you don't sleep well, your whole body is unhealthy and there is nothing you can fix), sunlight and sunrays, eat clean (but no need to be paranoid).
it seems to me that a lot of people that do not take stimulantes have way more energy that the ones that do take. For example, Jocko, Tai Lopez, Patrick Bet David, Tom Brady, David Goggins, you may not like some of this names, but the amount of energy and motivation that this guys have is really big, some of the healthy gurus looks like they are drained of energy, all the time, maybe is because of the pressure to looks like they have healthy and vitality that they exagerate on the caffeine... just my thoughts

Yes, the more refined, the more processed (ex. “Instant oats” vs. Large flake, brown rice vs white rice or cream of rice). The best carb source is probably going to be russet and sweet potatoes, and higher carb veggies and fruits like avocado, berries, kale, dates, etc. potatoes are the least processed carb, you just want a good source (ideally the farmer). Rice is a lot better than pasta, and a lot better than store bought bread. Some are just completely man made ie. table sugar and candy on the extreme end. There’s a hierarchy and “levels” of refinement for carbs. Always go with the least refined

Many cookies 😅
Simply put, balance and moderation; practical and functional strength and movement. Mostly for the every day person or just anyone.
and he likes his womanss
I couldn't agree more. A really good cookie makes sense.
Gotta start doing neck training
Purchase some knee pads first
These questions are form anyone who well know Bpc-157!
It's primarily for gut issues(possible IBS-undiagnosed) but mainly for left distal bicep tendonitis from working out too hard and too long without deloading
2. Do you take bpc 157 arginate with or without food for best absorption?
3. What's the difference between acetate and arginate salt form of bpc 157?(what's better?)
And 4. do you HAVE to pair it with TD500 for best results or is it just as good on its own?
Thank you
My god that all sounds like absolute overkill.
The thumbnail is from his "Lift, Run, Shoot" with Cameron Hayes, anyone that hasn't seen it should check it out.
Steroids. The secret is steroids.
Running and twirling barefoot along the ocean coast… ☀️ Priceless! 😎
I drank 12 pints of snakebite last night. Felt class this morning.
Top lad! I've just had a spliff to start the day get the juices flowing

My Mom worked 3 quarters of her life, never exercised, ate anything she wanted, and she lived to be 96! And she enjoyed life!
So? Where does it state he doesn’t enjoy life.
That’s awesome. And very rare.
My daily routine is being healthy followed by healthy stuff and then some health
Workout your back muscles!!!! Prevents injury. Especially for men, they are more prone to back injury from things like squats etc.
She’s a good listener
Interesting to listen to and all that, to hear what someone else is doing I suppose. But all that would do for the majority of people that try to copy these "influencers" and follow their routines is add to the stress, they are trying to escape from when they can't keep it up due to life's distractions (work, bills, kids etc).
Keep it simple. Eat what a human is supposed to eat and be as active as you can. Then hopefully you can enjoy and treasure your relationships with family, friends and find work that helps to support that.
Luv this ❤

Everything he said other than the supplements doesn’t take that many hours in a week
Simply put - it's all about practical and functional strength and movement
I wish he had spoken about the quality of his food sources, whether he insists on organic only, about toxins and pesticides etc.
Voltaire would drink 40 cups of coffee a day. You may not be Voltaire, but the benefits of caffeine far outweigh the negatives.
Hi what do you recommend for sleep? I have a hard time sleeping thank you.
He never mentioned that he takes NMN and NR which he takes first thing in the morning!!
Sunday, which for me falls on Sunday......
I want to see these two when there old..
Ty Rhonda for another great longevity video
Talk to me when you’re in your late 80s and don’t look or act it. Bunch of young people in great health hoping they know how to extend their lives.
Ya good point Arnold isn't looking that good these days. The one that does look phenomenal is Lou forrigno
Back to bed grandpa
@dusrdev no one in their 80s will be as fit when they were in their 30s 40s maybe 50s. I think that was the point.
100 mg of zinc seems like a TON, no??
Not if you train heavily. Intense excercise depletes zinc precipitously.
Andrew is probably taking 100 mg of zinc sulfate, zinc picolinate, or zinc citrate which contain 23, 20, and 31 grams of zinc, respectively. He makes mistakes like this all the time.
yes you can get zinc toxicity from that amount of Zn
Of course he’s…100 ml injected too
Just because one ingests x mgs doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bioavailable.
It’s because they’re on TRT. It ages you.
I don't thinks he looks like hes aging faster, so you point is moot.
Come on man huberman does not look mid 50’s lol
Joe likes to party
Nice to hear you're skateboarding again! #lfg
100 mg of zinc? You did not mention taking copper and that multivitamin does not have enough copper in it to off set all that zinc. Are you not worried about being low copper?
Bioavailability in context.
Some people (like me) have too much copper and use zinc to lower it. Some just don’t waste copper. It’s all individualized
Do something. That is what most people are not doing. Lastly, be consistent.
What’s with all the jealous nasty comments ? Thanks Dr huberman
It's not jealously. It's that he promotes bro science and crappy supplement products. He even slips a promo in here at 06:00 of this video and then says its not a promo 😂
Strolls the nasty comments
Loved for two videos then started realising how sketchy he is. It isn't jealousy it is just intolerance for snake oil.
@@alansmith4655 and bro science is categorically false?
@@alansmith4655if a person states what they take or do or eat or what they drive or wear or which finger they pick their nose with, are they promoting it or stating facts?
I guess to you a criminals confession is a promotion or a mom talking about her child is a promotion or him talking about an occasional slice of pizza or cookie he must be promoting Papa John’s and Keebler elves
Dude has a very nice vibe about him.
I watched this as if it were a first date.
She asked one question. Although loaded, he never stopped talking.
I also imagined she went to the bathroom to call her friends for advice on this bad date and he never noticed her leaving. He continued talking.
She returned with him lecturing uninterrupted, never noticing she ever left.
Without an ounce of chemistry, she chooses to stay, because of her desperate need to procreate.
She was never able to make him stop.
She lived with this curse for the sake of family and fear of missing out...
No talk about TRT dosage?
It would discredit his message. But you can tell he injects some unnatural things.
Sunday typically falls on Sunday for me too
Wait, he said he only does cold showers in his previous videos. Have we changed again?
Hey Andrew or Rhonda, random question. My 12 year old is on the small somewhat skinny side and is hyper sporty. He’s not a big meat eater but loves veg. Is it safe to give him a scoop of my protein powder once a day? Thanks so much
yeah it’s fine
I was surprised to see the tattoos. Figured a guy this smart would be above trend following.
Didn’t mention TRT
I laugh when guys like this claim they take test boosters, when in reality guys 50 years plus are all on TRT
100%. Every man should be on TRT after 50.
What you’re doing is great but my input is if you haven’t done any other space in health and fitness…you sounds bias to everything!
There are way to reach every outcome of what you talk about…

Every goal has a different direction
And there’s not just one way of reaching the top of the mountain… you have to listen to your body to adjust you training, diet pertaining to your goals

I'm really struggling with the whole "veggie" thing. And how they're health. HOW are the healthy when they are sprayed with chemicals, inhibit absorption of minerals and low bioavailability.
Dr. Hubberman, do you use CPAP?
What about all the dye in all those tattoos?
does AH look as good as he could for 48 years old. Pretty good but could be better. what is missing?
Warren Buffet is 93 and has McDonald’s for breakfast everyday. Charlie Munger was quoted as saying that he has never done any voluntary exercise in his life and lived until he was 99. So there you go
100mg of Zinc ?? That seems like a lot. Recommended dosages from the small bit of research I've conducted seem to be more in the region of 10-30mg..
“ If “ he is taking AG why is he needing all the other vitamins?
it’s cope bro
It's a sponsor plug dude wake up.

is there any benefits to extreme heat exposure that's not from a sauna? such as working outside in hot temperatures in direct sunlight.
Two people I once thought they knew what they were talking about then slowly showed me they do not. Rip
200k 2% mortgage left with also 200k savings/investment.. I wonder if paying off some more would be optimal? I kinda like not having too much equity tied up in the house
Im wondering what he is taking for hair loss, he clearly gained in the last years. Maybe finasteride. I’m also wondering if he’s still taking nmn since he was very optimistic about it.
Also he said in his podcast with attia that his apoB is through the roof. Wondering if he’s doing something about that. Maybe some of u know more about it
I was thinning a bit from my temples.

@ChrisLutz3 no sir, that is incorrect.
Who else laughed when he said “That’s it. That’s it” 😂
I was doing part of Andrew's routine, until a baby arrived 🤯.
1. Exercise
2. Get drunk
3. Lay in bed, eat fast food and watch a movie

What about NMN from Renue science he was taking? Not anymore?
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
In past interviews you have said you take NMN. Have you stopped taking NMN? I find I have a lot more energy when I take it. I was more comfortable taking it when you said that you also took it. If you have stopped it, why?
Same...😅 and he is not talking about it...
Isnt oatmeal and rice processed? and high in heavy metals?
Pterostibene or resveratrol and why?
